Very nice Spanish food and very good service. We took some tapas and dishes and all of them are quite delicious. However, if you wanna enjoy the food, you have to be there earlier since they sold out the mushrooms and chickens just around 9pm and you might have to wait for an empty table.

We went without a reservation and the waiter seated dus immediately, when we ordered he offered us good advice to take the pulpo and not the sepia . The portions are big so be careful 😜 normally we go to a very reputed place in the passeig de Grácia area but I much preferred this little place . No fuss , no tourists ( they do like tourists though ) just plain good Spanish food ! And they have a good beer and wine selection. We will be back soon!

Every single dish we ordered from this hidden gem was a delight. The food was authentic and it seemed that most of the other people dining there were locals. There was help for English speakers in the form of English menus and pictures, but it was far from a tourist-centric experience. I couldn’t recommend this more. PS the beer menu was on point

I have ordered a burger for my lunch. The quality of the beef was good but the combination taste absolutely not!
The service was really bad. The waiters takes too long time to get your additional requirements. I ordered my burger to be with no bacon, and found it already there!

We are staying in the nearby Hilton, and as we had had a big lunch wanted a nice light authentic Spanish meal. We chose this tapas bar and were not disappointed.
The food was exceptional and the wine and ambiance were also first rate.
Very tempted to just keep going back, but we need to find other hidden gems, but I can thouroghly recommend this restaurant

This place is famous here. And I confirm the quality of the food and services. The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Food is amazing. I got the daily menu with a Salad and Roast chicken legs. Super Tasty. Great quality for an affordable price.

La Llimona was my husband and I’s favorite spot to stop in for either lunch, dinner, or a late night cappuccino. Every time we went the food was amazing, and the service even more so! By our third day in Barcelona, the workers recognized us lol the place was a short walk away from our hotel and we found ourselves walking toward the restaurant naturally when we were hungry. And now for my bit to the wonderful people working here in Spanish:
Quiero darle las gracias a todos los trabajadores de La Llomona por siempre darnos tan impecable servicio, y especialmente a Xavi y Erma, que seguro que nos veían entrar y decían “ya volvieron los que siempre están aquí” jajajaja, no pero en serio, gracias y se aprecia mucho el trato tan lindo que nos dieron.
All in all: you cannot go wrong in visiting this fine establishment!!

Waited in the cold, but locals without reservations got their table. If you don't like tourists, fine i get it, but then don't qdvertise yourself with a "tripadvisor approval seal"..
When confronted, they claimed they had a reservation (they didn't they were looking for a table like we did)

En la Llimona las reservas no van en función del país ni color de piel ni lengua del cliente
Sino por el orden en el que se producen dichas reservas, con esto quiero aclarar su comentario de que no nos gustan los turistas.
Las reservas se establecen por teléfono o directamente en el establecimiento.
En el momento que ustedes entraron en el establecimiento se les comentó que estaba todo reservado y que no habría mesas libres hasta aproximadamente 45 minutos más tarde. Por lo que decidieron hacer la reserva para pasar sobre ese periodo de tiempo.
Cuando volvieron, se encontraron que la mesa que estaba libre en ese momento la ocuparon unos clientes que tenían la reserva hecha desde las 14 h de ese día y además como siempre se hace en la mesa tenían indicada la reserva con su nombre.
La camarera intentó explicarles, porque habían pasado antes esos clientes, pero ustedes no aceptaron ninguna explicación porque para ustedes esos clientes se habían colado.
Sentimos mucho que no interpretaran bien lo sucedido, y les animamos a que puedan comprobar que en la Llimona queremos fidelizar a todos nuestros clientes sin excepción
Pero hay unas normas y orden de reserva que todos tenemos que respetar.

We ate here twice during our short stay in Barcelona. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive and the food that came out of the tiny kitchen was amazing! The Spanish patatas bravas is a delicious, filling tapas dish - chunks of potato with both a spicy sauce as well as an aioli. A refreshing dessert is the Valenciano - vanilla ice cream in a glass and Grand Marnier poured over the top!
