Superb Mexican food and hospitality

Coming from London we have always been disappointed with Mexican restaurants local to us. This great find was a breath of fresh air, very fresh delicious authentic food. Very friendly staff and brilliant service! ******

Best mexican food in Barcelona

The best mexican food in town. I have visited this restaurant many times and the food is ALWAYS delicious!!!! I recommend the nachos andele with extra guacamole as a starter, then any choice from Cochinita pibil, tiras de pollo/res, tacos de guisados or carne a la tampiqueña. Then café de olla and a margarita shot

Today, we came to eat at Ándale by my surprised it was Caldo Tlalpeño in the menu!!!! It was delicious and I took one to go. El café de olla could not be better and I love coming here for it. Please, consider bringing back the Caldo Tlalpeño to the new menu.

Didn't bother reserving our table, didn't care

I phoned up and reserved a table on the terraza for 22:00. I live not far away and we wanted somewhere we could walk to. Walked down on time, terraza was full, no table reserved. Staff weren't bothered, said we could go inside or wait. We left and ate somewhere else. This place is a chain restaurant, well overpriced, in a really sterile run of chain restaurants. Worth avoiding. My mistake in booking there. Rosa Negra (via Laietana) is a much nicer and cheaper Mexican chain if that's what you are after. And there are way nicer owner-run Mexican restaurants in barrios like Hospitalet and Rambla Badal, esoecially InsulTacos which is ace.

Mexican Food Worth Trying

We know Mexican food. Living in Texas and traveling to many places in Mexico we have tried everything. This food is great. We tried a couple of things including Ceviche. It was delicious outside missing spiciness.

Delicious Mexican food. True Mexican ingredients. Great service, friendly and professional. It's a franchise and this one here is great, don't know about the other ones in BCN. This one is totally worth it! Will return for sure! Nice discovery!

I’ve lived in California and have tried many Mexican restaurants throughout the world. I must say that this is the best Mexican restaurant that i’ve ever tried. If you are in Barcelona or Madrid, Ándele is a must. Ándele offers excellent food and service.

A Pleasant Experience

Walking through the L'Illa mall, smelling delicious Mexican food was great - but the service was even better. The margaritas were so good, extra strong and the house made tacos were superb. The service was also great - our waiter was so intrigued about us being from Canada he sat to talk to us for over 45 minutes and was incredibly personable. Highly recommend!

Outstandning Food!

Not sure why others did not have the same experience but we LOVED the Mexican food here. So flavorful and delicious. We had the melted cheese and tortillas, green chili enchiladas and nachos, all were exceptional. We would eat here all the time if we were local!

We ordered take away here and even though the quality wasn't THE BEST, we still loved it ! The nachos were good and mounting our own tortillas was 👌. Besides, the service is worth 5⭐️

Nice place... but the food wasn't that nice

The restaurant has a very good location...close to Diagonal Avenue (metro and tram). The place offers a cool and happy atmosphere. Service is very friendly and timely...However, the food is not that good, or at least that Mexican: the taste of the food is far from the real Mexican food (I tried tacos, enchilada and chorizo), and Mexican beer was the closest to Mexican in the place (I tried the michelada and it was very good). The prices are a bit high...You can enjoy a nice lunch or dinner for 30 euros (which I do not consider cheap), and note that portions are a bit small.
