La Parroquia Santa María del Taulat tiene una arquitectura sobria pero interesante de observar en su interior. Se encuentra en la zona del Poblenou.

A principios de los años 40 sólo había las parroquias en el barrio las de Santa María del Taulat y de Sant Francesc d'Assis, las dos quemadas en la guerra y la del Sagrat Cor, que se pudo salvar. En el año 1945 se inició la reconstrucción de Santa María gracias a 200 suscriptores con aportaciones voluntarias de empresas y particulares. Nosotros sólo pudimos verla por fuera porque estaba cerrada.
