What a great find! We arrived late in Barcelona, looked on trip advisor, Xorus was nearby, and we got a table outside with excellent service from one of the brothers who owns it. The seafood paella was great, the octopus, and especially the garlic shrimp and the bread with garlic and tomato. We enjoyed nice conversation with our waiter and had fun watching all the skaters and bikers and walkers going by. Highly recommend this place!

You hear the phrase “Good customer service” thrown around to easily but this place embodies the true meaning of Great customer service. Talked us through every Tapas and course we ordered and helped us with recommended portion sizes between a group 6. The food was phenomenal, 6 Tapas’ then a Paella to share followed by Desserts. Couldn’t name a flaw with our experience and would definitely recommend.

As a native English speaker, the menu was not hard to navigate. Estrella Damm seems to have been the only beer on tap, but we like it so that wasn’t a big deal to us. I ordered the Veal Steak Parmesano and it was a bit cool coming out but the flavors were outstanding. My mom was with me and she ordered a paella dish with four kinds of seafood in it. She loved it. We would recommend it and may visit it again before we leave.

A party of 3 hoped to get something to eat at 15:30with beer/wine. Advised kitchen closed at 1530 but dish of the day available, calamari with noodles….?? We ordered 2 potatoes bravos and 1 noodle with calamari….a beer and 2 wine. The food arrived with the drink and the noodle dish which had 1 small crevette, noodles and a spoon of garlic Mayo. The bravas were good. We ordered a second drink each and I went to pay bill.
Drink and bravas were charged as expected but noodle and calamari were charged at 17.15 euro. Following a discussion with bar person, reduced to 10.15 euro.
This dish was very poor and should not have been presented not to mind charged for.
While much of the discussion around ordering could be put down to language barrier, this experience was not one I would care to revisit.

We visited twice during our stay in Barcelona. The first time we ordered seafood Paella with grilled vegetables, both dishes were really good. The second time we went with Catalan dishes and all were just amazing. Definitely get the bread, the waiter showed us how to season the bread with fresh garlic, tomato, olive oil, and salt. That bread was the one of most delicious bread I have ever had. The waiter has very good knowledge about all the dishes we asked and were very enthusiastic about their food. At the end I had no room but I really wanted to try the traditional Catalan dessert, they even accommodated me for half portion of the desert. Really good services and highly recommend.

We came here with family including a 2 year old. There was no seating outside but as soon as it became available we were moved outside as requested, great food and service. Also a lovely area in general. I recommend the mixed grill, for the carnivores.

This is my favorite Catalan cuisine restaurant in Barcelona. They do a fantastic job relying heavily on fresh ingredients (brought daily from the market), and they turn it into simple, fantastic plates of food. In addition to the amazing food, and great wines from Cataluña, Sergi, Pepe, and Ruben make you feel at home.

Great experience! We opted for indoor seating and were pleasantly surprised. Our waiter could not have been more engaging and knowledgeable, we got to see how a small kitchen staff could support a large, diverse menu and, of course, the food was excellent. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. Bon appetit!

Based on reviews and proximity we tried this spot.
Service was exceptional! You never know about portions when visiting a new spot and our waiter was kind enough to say we were over ordering.
The portions are substantial, the toast is entire meal!
Small little spot and the serve outdoors.
Everything we had was very good.

Had a wonderful experience at Xorus! Amazingly good food, our table of 7 had the octopus, some diffrents meats, paella, fish...everything was cooked to perfection! Superattentive staff, good wine and awesome desserts-try the crema catalan or the briosche cake! Cannot praise this restaurant enough!

We had to book go get a table as it’s quite small inside and very popular. Food was delicious! We ordered the most popular tapas and shared a paella / salmon and pork dish. Desserts were great too - tiramisu and crème brûlée!

We are staying at a hotel in the immediate area and saw the restaurant recommended in a guide book. We walked by the restaurant on the wonderful pedestrian street and asked for an outside patio table. The tapas is delicious. Our favorite was the vegetable crisps which brought us back a second night . But there are a number of different tapas dishes (the whole point of tapas) and we liked them all. The wine, sangria and specialty drinks were all good. Prices are very reasonable.

We came for the seafood paella (La casa) and were not disappointed! When we shared how much we enjoyed the dish with the waiter, he replied "no es porque trabajo aqui, pero la verdad es que aqui la hacen muy bien. He was right. Another surprise highlight was the foie gras tapas. I want to go back just to try some more options from that section of the menu. One word of caution: it's a small restaurant and the service is not particularly fast. The couple at the table next to us appeared to arrive hangry, and didn't seem to have quite as enjoyable an experience as we did. We were ready for a slow meal and enjoyed every moment of it.

Local Braseria gives a pleasant welcome, help in choosing wine and food. Very pleasant atmosphere, the service did not play games, was very caring. Thank you for a nice evening with good wine and food. It's all about the people and the service people at the Braseria were really great.

Best food I have ever had, definitely recommend it. Service was very good waiters were very friendly. Food comes out really fast. (The pork on toast I definitely recommend by the way) seats are set out in a nice way and the glasses are very cool! You should definitely go some time and try out the delicious tapas 👍🙌
