We were looking for a breakfast place within walking distance from our hotel and read the reviews. The walk took 15 - 20 and was worth every single second. We got to know a bit better the neighborhood and enjoyed the rather less touristical side of Barcelona. When we arrived, we were luck and either could have waited to for a table or sit on the window, which is more bar style BUT you can see everybody passing by. t was perfect for us, two adults and two children (5 & 10). The menu is a great selection of some typical breakfast items with a twist and does not contain the main stream items, Always compliment those ones who are trying to create something different and while it is more a place for late breakfast . Brunch, it works perfectly. The atmosphere is brilliant. Vibrant and everybody is laughing and in conversations. The place is small but so well organized. All dishes can be executed within the space well and you see everybody working together. Something you don't see that often anymore while people looking for a job rather a place they identify themselves with. Here the owners works hand in had with everybody else and no matter how buys it is, everybody seem to have fun. It doesn't matter if you order a coffee, or two, or three, every coffee gets its time and love, same with the juices and the food. OMG, not sure if it was because we were hungry that morning but those breakfast / brunch items were amazing. Crispy, juicy, tender, soft, munchy, sweet, savory, tasty and the words could go on. We ordered four different items and all of them were shared and disappeared rather fast so we ordered more. If other people would not have waited for seating, we would have loved to stay longer, while we enjoyed it so much. Everything worked out the way how it should be and was a prime example of hospitality. I could go on and on but if you do have the time and would like to experience something great, you should come here. ENJOY and Thank you for an amazing experience and memory of Barcelona. We will come back, next time coming to Barcelona.

I had the pleasure to dine this Saturday morning at this lovely place.
We were welcomed by a most charming hostess Chandra .
The ambience and comfort was top of the line and the menu was a delightful local creole breakfast served in a soothing and beautiful surrounding with soft piped music and enough greenery.
Price was shocking good and it help to set the stage
For a most happy day.

Had pancake dish with strawberries, bananas, creme and maple syrup. Also had another dish which was called Savory Pancakes with avocado and fried eggs and salad. To drink we had some homemade pink lemonade and some house mineral water. The food was spectacular! Fantastic service. The staff is young, dedicated and speak perfect English.

Food is nice, I used to be a fan. But I noticed how the quality has gone down and portions got smaller in the past months.
Confirmation came when I ordered extra bacon for 3 euros and got 2 small slices of saggy cold bacon. Sad.
Better go to Billy Brunch where the food is just is better and the price is fair.

Small indoor restaurant but lots of seating outside on the pavement. We ordered the poached eggs with pulled pork, avocado toast and fried green tomatoes with feta cheese. The fried green tomatoes was the star of the show, so simple yet moorish. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked with runny yolks. I would have preferred the pulled pork to have more bbq or charred flavour, but it was just pure pork taste/meatiness.
The avocado toast was a bit basic and they loaded it with coriander and herbs, which unfortunately I did not enjoy as much.
I would still recommend this restaurant as a good brunch spot. The vibe is chill and perfect when the sun is shining!

Food is average at best. Unsure of why the reviews for this place are so high.
We had the spicy beer which is similar to a bloody Mary but for a beer and it tasted just very odd and the mimosa was just ok
The tapas breakfast items were disappointing, and in the pancakes the banana slices seemed to be the highlight.
Personally I wouldn't go here for a breakfast or brunch, i think it's better to go towards Rambla de Poblenou and get food there.

This was the best meal we had during our stay in Barcelona, so glad we went! As a family we had the pancakes, salmon bagel, berry lemonade, eggs and bacon and yummy crisps/chips-everything was fantastic and the service was really good. Definitely worth a visit-make sure you check the opening days as I believe they are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Every table was full when we ate there around 11.30/12 on a Thursday so might also be worth making a reservation.

We happened to stop here for lunch when out on some bike rentals. It was unexpected but we were so glad that we did. Food, service and ambience were great. We both had the chicken buns and some homemade lemonade with ginger and turmeric. Tasty and refreshing.

Staying at the Melia Sky in pobleneu and decided to skip hotel breakfast…… best decision of the holiday so far….googled best brunch In Barca and Can Dende was up there. I now know why! Truly warm welcome and helpful engaging staff, people that know what they’re doing and what top service means. Then the food arrived and was truly on another level…… beautiful omelette and my wife’s eggs Benedict best she’s ever had. Couldn’t resist the superb light pancakes when the I saw the next table had their order. It didn’t disappoint. Even if you’re not staying in pobleneu it’s that good it’s worth a taxi ride to sample. Service and food both 5 star.

Perfect coffee plus a beautiful design masterfully done. Pulled pork benny was out if this world. Potatoes were crispy and wells seasoned. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had anywhere in the world

Came here 3 times for breakfast during primavera. Place has got such a great reputation that there were queues every day. Staff managed these very well. Brunches are excellent. Coffees are best we found in Barcelona. All delivered with a smile.

The best breakfast/brunch in Barcelona! Would definitely recommend. We ordered the bacon poached eggs with potatoes and it was delicious and reasonably priced!

very good food, the staff was a little rushed, it felt like wanted us out of the restaurant as fast as possible and they even took our plates while i was still snacking on my last fries
all in all a nice place, probably just crowded because it was a weekend and we will surely visit again
