Old Montreal is the city’s most haunted neighborhood. Since colonial times, the area has witnessed countless horrors – brutal colonization, guerilla warfare, unspeakable tragedies, heinous crimes and shocking executions.
These dark episodes ripple through time, leaving deranged legends, haunted history and a plethora of ghosts and paranormal activity.
The Haunted Old Montreal ghost walk visits the Place d’Armes, Cours Le Royer, the Courthouse District, Place Vauquelin, Champs-de-Mars, Jacques Cartier Square and the infamous Chateau Ramezay. There areas are all rife with paranormal activity and ghost-sightings.

Lots of detailed history made fun provided informative laughter. You will not want to go to the loo alone. Anton, our tour guide, was amazing. He’s very knowledgeable and funny. We also liked the fact that he made sure the group was always together and safe and that everyone could hear. Highly recommend this tour as a fun way to learn about Montreal’s history

Haunted old Montreal was so fun. I loved walking down the beautiful cobblestone roads of old Montreal, while hearing about the local ghost stories and history of the area. The storyteller was excellent. It was a wonderful experience and I look forward to going to the other tours that they offer. (I've also tried their Haunted Pub Crawl and it was a hit with my friends too)

This was my first haunted walk of any sort, so I don't have much to compare it to, but i found this a lot of fun. Our tour guide was very polite, well-spoken and charismatic. You learn a lot of creepy, historical tidbits about Montreal. Was a good time, the family enjoyed it!

I had never done a haunted walk before so I wasn’t sure what to expect, it was amazing! I loved learning the origins of Montreal along with stories from past and present. Our guide was wonderful and his story telling kept you engaged and interested. I also brought my partner who doesn’t love history as much as I and he really enjoyed it! Would definitely go again.

We are in town on business and love to do ghost tours. This tour began at 7:30 at night. The tour guides name was I believe, Edna Mae, and she was fantastic! She waited until everyone arrived to the spot before she started to talk. She would hesitate if traffic or people were a noise concern. She projected loudly and kept asking can you hear me in the back. She was very entertaining in her storytelling. It was a very enjoyable evening.
