It was nice museum. One time visit is enough . It is little boring for an adult.

Actually, we were quite surprised how much we enjoyed this, especially the information on how a port really works including the ship container simulation. Definitely a recommended visit if hanging around the port especially after visiting the aquarium and eating lunch at the Nagoya Red Lobster.

Excellent Displays and real vessels to access, particularly enjoyed the shipping simulator (my 7 year old niece is now a great skipper!) and container crane software simulator as well.

This is a maritime museum located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Port Building. It's surprising how many of the museums have the highest cargo volumes and exported vehicles in Japan. There are many exciting exhibits, such as actual export vehicles and dredging machines, as well as models of Japanese ships and sailing ships. The Nagoya Port steering simulator is interesting. You choose one of two steering routes and operate the rudder. The course itself is not that difficult, but it is difficult to get the ship to the final goal. You will be overwhelmed by the huge number of bottle ships. They come in all different sizes and shapes. It is also interesting to rack your brains thinking about how they can fit large parts through such a narrow opening.
