What travelers are saying
- Ms30Canada35 contributionsWe weren't sure what to expect specifically, but so glad we went.
Our family learned a lot about the history and got to play in the interactive portion of the museum.
The displays and machinary were impressive. Overall, we recommend it!Written July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We can only walk around the compound of the castle. It is nice but of course not as interesting as those castles which you can enter. There is a photo booth which a photographer will take 3 photos of you and you get to choose 1. A small photo is free while a bigger version costs JPY 1,200.Written May 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Hamlet JOrlando, FL4 contributionsBreath-taking place so much to see! Make sure to know the schedule so you know where to go at what time so you don’t miss something you’d like to see
Beluga training and Dolphins was the best, you can get really close to them and they’re so cute!
There is a mini mall with food court next building l, prices are reasonable. Best is, their place is really near train station. They also have several parking spaces if you bring your car.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - geo3Calgary, Canada1,598 contributionsSuch a great variety of shops! Some good bakeries (which I ended up patronizing) and great eating places, plus almost everything you could think of for sale. There aren't many chain stores, which was one of the things that made this area so interesting.
I normally don't like shopping, but this was interesting and fun.
Easy to get to from the Osukan subway station.Written July 30, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Panda6551Singapore, Singapore208 contributionsGem of a museum. Get to see the fine works of porcelain. There is also a good restaurant nearby to dine with Noritake tableware.Written April 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zfy EdSingapore, Singapore10,345 contributionsThis is a "center" within the JR Nagoya station that have lots to see, shop and dine. Whether you are taking the Shinkansen, metro or bus, you will not miss this place.
There are departmental stores like Takashimaya and Tokyu Hands that each covers several floors where you can shop until drop, among others. Also have lots of eateries, cafes, restaurants all around, and on the 12 and 13 floor too where you can have a good bird eye's view of the city.
Of course, convenience stores and souvenirs shops are around too. And if you walk further out, there's a Disney store and also more underground shopping street where shops selling fashion, shoes, bags and lifestyle products etc are located.
It's so convenient and accessible to move around and sometimes easy to get "lost" as there are so many entrances and exits and all look quite similar. LOL. So good to "recognize" some key shops or landmarks!
And the place is full of people all day long as people meet their friends here!Written January 17, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. While the landscape doesn't measure up to some of Japan's better known gardens, It's still quite pleasant to walk around the lakes and waterfalls.Written January 27, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - けいともじふNagoya, Japan5 contributionsOne of the icons of Nagoya city. The tower resembles the Eiffel Tower in Paris. It is no surprise considering the fact that Nagoya is a sister city of Paris. It is not very tall but gives you a pretty good view over Nagoya city. In the nights, it shines in various colors and allows you to take beautiful pictures with the background of Sakae downtown.Written February 21, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.

- Ronald S44 contributionsThe ferry and onboard services are comfortable and clean. There is little in English but the staff are helpful and things are relatively easy to figure out. The tourist class bunks are much like a capsule hotel and better than the tatami mat rooms. If you have family recommend getting a private room. Now on to the food. Overpriced and low quality. Breakfast and lunch are ¥1000 and dinner is ¥2000. Choices are mostly low-grade Japanese. If you can survive on the salad bar with only shredded cabbage and one choice of dressing you’re okay. Bring your own food!Written November 21, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
