- Ms30Canada35 contributionsWe weren't sure what to expect specifically, but so glad we went.
Our family learned a lot about the history and got to play in the interactive portion of the museum.
The displays and machinary were impressive. Overall, we recommend it!Written July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. We spent around an hour+ here touring the old trains to the current Shinkansen, playing with simulators and learning how the modern high-speed rails can travel at such fast speed. There are plenty of seats around so visitors can take their breather if required. Worth it if you could slot it into your itinerary!Written May 27, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Panda6551Singapore, Singapore208 contributionsGem of a museum. Get to see the fine works of porcelain. There is also a good restaurant nearby to dine with Noritake tableware.Written April 21, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Buckster21London, UK373 contributionsThis retired Antarctic scientific ship is now a living exhibit of life at sea in an icebreaker. It felt like the crew had just left for a while and even had its helicopter on the bow deck “ready for take off”. While down in the port area, this is a definite must for a visit.Written January 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
Open for free except Monday. In the basement, solitary and solitary cells are placed, in which a faucet and tap stream instead of a toilet. Is it to prevent having time to spare? Is it for the re-offending prevention? The Complete book of the Six Codes of laws were silently placed in the corner of the complex. Former Nissan chairman Mr. Ghosn was also put in such a place for several months. It's interesting that there is something in the quiet that feels like it is.Written March 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Definitely a recommended visit if hanging around the port especially after visiting the aquarium and eating lunch at the Nagoya Red Lobster.Written July 17, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Zfy EdSingapore, Singapore10,345 contributionsThis is a rather small sized museum as compared to others and mainly meant for the children on the theme of electricity. The exhibits and displays about how electricity are created, generated and it's effects etc, are interesting and fun for the little ones but are mainly in the Japanese language though.
The museum is located about 6mins walk from Fushimi station and is free admission. You can walk around in the building, enjoy the washroom and aircon before heading to your next destination, which we did, another couple minutes of walk to the science musuem!Written February 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Informative and interesting for any history lovers (note that all the captions are in Japanese). - lostintransportationLondon, UK252 contributionsWe struggled to find this tooth museum. It might once have had a plaque, but I guess they scraped it away.
We were filling-in between other activities so I can't be very incisor about the place and anyway at tooth-thirty we had to leave.Written January 15, 2020This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
