Excellent guided tour of the museum. We spent an hour walking around by ourselves before the tour began. The tour brought everything to life, our guide was enthusiastic about the subject and this helped to bring things to life. The highlight for me was seeing Elvis' BMW which had been loving restored.

If you like BMWs, you must visit this place. ForBMW lovers, give yourself at least half a day (4 hours) plus lunch around this area. You will not be disappointed. And remembering all the BMWs across the centuries to the ultramodern BMWs!

As a passionate BMW owner, I was totally fascinated with every aspect of the visit. It was like peeking through time - past-present-future, walking through each showroom. Would recommend as a must see!

I’m a car enthusiast and this place was awesome. Additionally I’ve been a fan of the bmw brand in general.
They have cars from 1920s all the way upto new concepts. The motorcycles and aircraft engines were pretty cool as well.
The stores are definitely overpriced but I went there to see the car museum primarily.
Overall a great experience.

Cool showroom with all the fancy BMW and Rolls cars they show off! That being said, it's sad BMW has never taken responsibility for how they treated the workers they utilized from Dachau. Shameful!

The best place I've ever visited. Close to the BMW Museum, and the views were phenomenal. Very unique design and shapes. Great place to visit and it not only displays cars but also history and motorbikes. Very good for car enthusiasts or just for a travel. Lots of exhibitions and it is more than excellent, it is superior for a museum!

The BMW Welt is a combination of several buildings at the Headquarters.
We toured only one part - the part where you can see some of the upcoming cars and their new designs, colors, motorcycles, etc. It also serves as the delivery location for those lucky customers who have come to Munich to accept delivery on their new motor cars!
Also included in the complex are a couple of restaurants, a fantastic gift shop for the BMW enthusiast, and - as you may have already heard - their modernistic and spotless bathrooms!
It seems that BMW has cornered the world market for stainless steel, as the building, the benches, everything is stainless steel - very impressive.
Worth a stop if you are going to Munich.

How did you book the BMW Welt tour? There doesn't appear to have a "booking" button anywhere on the BMW sight. Don't see on Viator either.
Written June 24, 2019
You can go directly to there. No rush. You can visit paying there.

We will be in Munich the last week of June and would like to visit the BMW Museum. Is it necessary to purchase tickets in advance? We are hesitant to lock into a time and day at this point. Thank you.
Written June 6, 2019
There is no need to buy ticket in advance for the museum, the factory visit will not be possible for you due to timing. I went to the bmw by taking the hop on hop off 9-12. Drop by bmw main \building where admission is free, visited all of bmw, rolls royce and mini cooper latest model, bought at the gift shop, bought ticket to the museum at 10 euro per pax then visited the museum. Hope this helps.

Where can i book a factory tour in advance? How much is it? Thanks.
Written May 26, 2019
I remember that the combo tour of the Welt and the Museum was 16 Euro and was about 1-1.5 hours, but not sure how much to add the factory since we didn’t get to do it.
