- BradHong Kong, China173,724 contributionsThe Cabinet Garden (Kabinettsgarten) is a neat place to find on the east side of Residenz.
In short, through a small opening next to the Allerheiligen-Hofkirche and near to the Crown Prince Rupprecht Fountain ( Kronprinz-Rupprecht-Brunnen) you will find a small, enclosed garden that was built in the early 19th century but only opened to the public around 15 years ago.
Here you will find a few park benches, two aisles of grass and a handful of trees providing shade. In the middle of the garden there is a fountain and twin rectangular-shaped pools and nice rose bushes, which were in bloom during our June visit.
Overall, we found Kabinettsgarten to be a neat little find while exploring the Residenz grounds. It is a place we'd like to visit again during future trips to Munich.Written June 26, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
