Overcrowded buses, they sell the tickets in strategic positions so you don’t see the long queues in the burning sun. Coming from a cruise, we had to wait more than one hour in the sun at 35 degrees. Very rude staff, we would have never bought the tickets if we had known this. Be careful!

Travelling from Bologna to Pisa when Italian, one day, rail strike was on, we decided to book a Flixbus instead, 2 days before we needed to travel. Booked tickets online and all seemed good. We turned up at bus station and had our tickets scanned, so far so good. We boarded to find our booked seats were occupied and were told just to sit anywhere. It rapidly became clear that there were more passengers than seats! The tickets were all rechecked and around 30 people, including us were put off the bus. The Flixbus conductor had no idea what to do and told us to get a refund via our phones or book a later bus. Not helpful, as all seats on later buses were booked. His calls to his manager didnt help. We were left stranded with our fully paid, pre-booked tickets. Don't assume that because you have a pre-booked, valid ticket that you are travelling on a Flixbus. We did get an automatic refund through but this was not was required. Transport to our destination was. No explanation for the overbooking was given nor was an apology. Never again!!

I had a trip from Paris (Bordeaux) to Spain (Girona). The problem was FlixBus decided to change to location of its bus station in Bordeaux. I and all other passengers arrived at the new location but it seemed that all except the bus driver were notified that the new location must be used and the bus just didn't arrive at the new bus station. I don't know where it arrived to and what the driver was thinking about but the bus left Paris just without its passengers. I can't understand why the driver didn't have any suspicions because all other buses arrived at the correct station and passengers also were on the correct one. The only option I had to get to Spain was to take another FlixBus to the airport near my initial destination and then a taxi from the airport (because that bus arrived much later and public transport didn't work at that time). Moreover, FlixBus agreed to refund only the trip to the airport but not the taxi despite it was completely their fault and I didn't have any other options. It was a disaster, the route became much more difficult in all meanings, the second bus was inconvenient and additional money were spent. It was very difficult to reach them by phone and online chat they have is outdated, exists only on the web page (not in app) and very inconvenient. I was completely powerless to do something with their fault and the company didn't really solved its fault. I will try to avoid FlixBus in the future.

The bus didn't stop at the bus station! Left 5 woman in the middle of the night waiting for 3 hours in a parking lot in Strasbourg. We called customer service 2 times they said the bus is there and we must be patiened. The bus driver skipped the stop and never showed up even after our calls to customer service. I almost missed my flight. Had to find a taxi at 4 am, paid 350 euro. When I called them they told me that they can only refund bus or train tickets. The first bus or train was at 7, ridiculous. Than later when I claimed my costs due to their driver not stopping at the location and the mistakes of 2 customer service agents they told me that he radar showed that the bus arrived at the location. How is this possible to lie like this! I was at the barrier. No bus entered unnoticed. We investigated and found out that the bus entered Strasbourg (with 50 minutes delay) but only stopped at the first location and never came to the second(writen on our tickets) where 5 people were waiting! Liars !!!!!!!!!!!! I requested to talk to a manager! It was not possible. The worst worst worst company ever!!!! This must go to court! They do whatever they want and tell you that the driver was there when he was clearly not!!!!!!!!!!!!

I booked Flix for a short airport transfer (20km) between Modlin Airport and Warsaw city. Very unfortunately my flight was delayed and I had to sit in the airplane for additional time, was no chance to re-book my bus ticket for the next bus from Modlin Airport to Warsaw. I missed my bus. Then I went to the bus station and waited for the next Flixbus at 16:05 for the same route. I very kindly asked the driver to take me since I had a paid ticket for the route, also the bus was literally empty. Driver refused me on a very rude way, zero "empathy". MY VERYLAST TRIP with Flixbus and I will do serious efforts to post on every forum how bad this company treating passengers. Zero human feelings, zero service! With a bit of "good will" driver could have taken me......

The sit we were was broken and it kept reclining, which created conflict with the people siting behind, that didn’t understand that. During all the travel, I couldn’t put my back in the sit, which was extremely uncomfortable. Also, the bus was a bit dirty.

We booked a Flixbus from Paris to Zurich. Our bus left at close to midnight. We arrived at the bus station to find they had cancelled our bus ( actually think they oversold bus and cancelled our tickets). They offered us another bus ride which was the following night and was over a 16 hour bus ride. Luckily we were able to go back to our hostel for the night. We were lucky to find a train to take us to Zurich the following day. Flixbus would not give refund only a voucher. Beware!

The most unpleasant travelling experience by far. I booked a trip from Basel to Vienna, which consists two parts, first train from Basel to Karlsruhe, and then bus from Karlsruhe to Vienna. I have 20 min to transfer in Karlsruhe but the train was one hour late. In this case I contacted customer support to cancel the trip before the train departs. They insisted that I could still catch the train and claimed that my ticket was already used and scanned. I was shocked by their chaotic system and argued that I never took the train and even provided photos. The only response I got from support is they believe the tracking system and they just repeated that times after times.

Dubrovnik to Split was timetabled at 4hrs 15 minutes. The bus left on time and there were no holdups on the road, yet it took over 5 hrs 30 minutes...With the amount of stops scheduled there was no way it was going to be anywhere near on time. The back up driver also had a shouting match ( in Croatian) with a passenger on board, very unprofessional. The bus was clean and comfortable however

I travelled from Dundee to Edinburgh with a mandatory change at Perth. Good - the bus was on time, it was clean and in good condition, the driver was safe and the price was fair. Bad - the stop in Dundee is on the side of the road. Zero shelter or amenities. Ditto Perth. Really not great in Scotland. As I get travel sickness I paid a modest amount to book my seat in the front row. Some selfish bloke was in my seat at Perth and the driver wasn't prepared to make him move. Next time I'll try the Electric Bus because it goes direct.
