- Shady BekhitAlexandria, Egypt426 contributionsMain Shopping street in Munich, where you can find anything you want.
Starting rom Karlsplatz area, there's McDonald's, then on right & left all kind of famous Shops like, Levi's, Saturn, Swarovski, Zara, Deichmann, TK Maxx, DM, Snipes, Douglas, Benetton, C&A, Skechers, LEGO, H&M, Bayern Store, & many many more until you reach Marienplatz.
A lot of coffee shops too, no cars inside, just for pedestrians.
Until my next visit.Written December 5, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. The building dates back to the early 20th-century and is Neo-Gothic in style. You'll see red-brown brick facade, in the manner of unfinished medieval buildings. There is an impressive step gable and clock face on the facade as well.
If you enjoy architecture and find yourself in the area, give the building a quick walk around. It makes for a nice contract to the elaborate Neo-Baroque Justizpalast just next door.Written July 28, 2018This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Named for the Bavarian Prince Regent Luitpold, it's a bridge that leads to the Friedensengel monument. There's aquatic themed statues at either entrance of the bridge, but are sadly, badly faded.
On a nice summers day, the bridge provides fantastics views of the river as well as the Angel of Peace.Written June 10, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
