    Great venue!
We saw Bruce Springsteen here, he was amazing! No more, no less! The stadium is spacious and unlike Wembley you don’t have to apply for a second mortgage to buy a beer and a hotdog! The security staff were friendly and helpful, all good here!

    Interesting Stadiums
We visited on a very windy April day. It's odd that you have to pay to view the track stadium, but you have to check out the toilets. I have never seen so many stalls in a women's restroom ANYWHERE. And I have been to a lot of stadiums. :) The stadium was lovely. I am glad that they still use all the venues. Not sure this is Must See, but the Memorial definitely is.

    Amazingly beautiful views
This extensive park was the site of the 1972 Olympic Games in Munich. Some of the venues, like the Aquatic Center, are still in use. There's a lot you can visit, some free, others for a fee. You can, for example, enter the stadium and take a tour of the rooftop or zip line across the stadium, or both - but you need to pay to do so. There are some free activities as well. The 1972 massacre memorial is located at the north of the park and is a sobering, but respectful memorial of the tragedy that took place here. The absolute best thing to do is climb up the hill, made from the rubble from the war, to get views of the entire park and of Munich itself. If it's a clear day and you're lucky, there's an optical illusion that occurs that makes the Alps appear like they're right next to the city - it's an absolutely stunning view. The park also hosts some events. There are concerts, but also other festivals such as the summer Tollwood Festival, which is a ton of fun. SeaLife is located right in the park. The BMW headquarters and museum are right adjacent. Easy access to the center of Munich via UBahn.

    Tip Top Views
Fantastic place to visit and much to do & see around the Olympic Park. Had a fab day weather wise so went up the tower (€13.50) for the amazing views of the city and Alps in the distance. Nice coffee shop there to grab a brew and take the views in. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Great site, water scarce and overpriced.
It is amazing that after more than 50 years, this is a site that looks modern and beautiful at the same time. Definitely worth a visit. Though, take drinking water. There is some unnecessary artificial scarcity of drinking water in the area. Prices are ridiculously high. And queues are incredibly long. Munich, you should know that you can do better!

    sporting and somber
I visited to see both the stadium and other venues and the memorial for the Israeli athletes who were killed in 1972. There were multiple memorials, including at the apartment building on Connollystrasse which had been part of the Olympic Village. (It's a bit of a walk, but a direct line of sight with the more in-depth video memorial.)

A lovely place for a walk!
My best friend and I are big Queen fans and we visited the Olympic Park mainly to see the Olympiahalle where Queen played 7 times in their career (with Freddie) It felt very special to see it but unfortunately when we visited (20th Jan 2024) we couldn't get close to it as there was building work going on. The Olympic Park is HUGE. We were only able to see a small part of it as we were time restricted due to having a large itinerary but it's a really lovely place for a walk. We also saw the TV tower and glimpsed part of the Olympic stadium itself. The park was very clean and a popular spot. It's quite far out from the city centre by public transport but I'd definitely recommend a visit!
