We went two nights along with nine friends prior to a cruise. The hotel was very accommodating to our group- we were able to check in early after arriving from the airport. Our rooms were lovely, clean and comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting us with booking taxis to dinner and to the cruise port. The restaurant was great- the server willing to split our checks and do anything we need to make our stay a great one. The location of the hotel is walking distance to many shops and restaurants and easy a spot from which to experience Barcelona.

I have traveled to Barcelona over 10 times, and stayed at different hotels. Since 2018, AC Hotel by Marriott Diagonal L"Illa became my home in Barcelona. If you look at its location and facilities, this is no doubt a business hotel. However, its location is very convenient, you can get to any tourist attractions within 10-15 mins of taxi. The staff at reception are very welcoming and accommodating, during my stay they helped to arrange a taxi for me during rush hour. Furthermore, it is next to the Diagonal L"Illa shopping mall with food courts, restaurants, and supermarket. The rooms are spotless and in good size. This is my 2nd stay in this hotel and I will definitely return very soon!

Probably one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Appears brand new. Incredibly clean. The interior décor is fantastic. Modern but very comfortable and inviting. The moment I entered the room my mood changed. I felt happy. Did not want to leave. Also, it was incredible quiet inside the room. Amazing. The hotel is situated in a busy part of the city, overlooking a busy kids playground area, yet I did not here any outside noise. Also, I did not here any mechanical noise inside the building although the central AC was working well. Incredibly built. The beds and the pillows were incredibly comfortable. Slept like a baby. The hotel is situated in a very nice area of the city, a bit away from the usual tourist traffic. Very nice restaurants. The Mall is remarkable. The best Mall I have ever visited. A tourist attraction in its own rights. They use the underground parking at the Mall and offered discount. It was very convenient since we had a car. Again, I did not want to leave, hope to stay again.

AC Hotel Diagonal L’llla is a Category 4 Marriott property located on the busy Avenida Diagonal street in the heart of Barcelona. We booked the hotel for 1 night at 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. The cash rate for that particular night at this hotel (as well as the nearby Hilton Barcelona) was very high so represented a good value of points.
I don’t particularly like carpet flooring so really liked the wooden flooring in the room.

Stayed here for about a week so I feel like I have a pretty good feel for the hotel. The rooms are nice and clean. Located next to a shopping center with a fully fledged grocery store if one needs to buy things like extra clothes, snacks, or water. Really nice, quiet area. However, the area does not feel as alive or as charming as other areas of the city. For me, I preferred being in the mix of it all - so would probably prefer a different area but I understand the merits of staying somewhere slightly less busy.
The in room wifi is absolutely terrible from time to time. I could not be productive at all from my room. Video calls will constantly drop and I regularly dropped connection to our linux cloud machines. Even basic things like scrolling instagram on the in room wifi was a terrible experience. IG would only load 3 photos in my feed and then I'd have to wait. At times, it would be impossible to stream video from providers like Netflix or ABC to watch the NBA Finals. Ended up resorting to working from the lounge on the second floor - which is a pretty terrible compromise because it's impossible to take work calls that aren't appropriate to take in public settings.

The AC Hotel Diagonal is a perfect spot to explore Barcelona. It's literally attached to the I'lla Mall. Being a lifetime Titanium elite has it's perks. We were upgraded to a Presidential Suite with 2 bathrooms, living room and dinning room. The bed was very comfortable and spacious. The lounge serves daily buffet breakfast for ₹15 with varied choices for everyone. The wait staff at the lounge are very professional and kind They also serve dinner starting at 7:30 pm Check in was quick and easy. Front desk like Ana are helpful and always ready to assist with any questions you may have. They also arranged the taxi to the airport. Housekeeping cleans your room daily unless you request not to.
So if you like a combination of a good hotel, restaurants and shopping look no further. The AC Marriott Diagonal L'lla is the perfect choice.

I would give 3 start because of its service provided by staff which was very attentive to each guest + Bathroom amenities + Cleanness.
While the hotel is conveniently located the rooms are basic and lacks place to sit to relax, maybe watch tv or radio a book, would highly suggest to add a couch to the rooms instead of 2 chairs which are really not useful.
Air conditioning displays are not visible so it was much of a choice to either guess the temperature or close the aircon in temptation. Cannot imagine in summer season.

This hotel is amazing! Like other AC hotels (we stayed in Cordoba and Madrid) the Barcelona AC offers great rooms, excellent service and delicious food. Our room, 532, was massive! Two large beds in a room that had a table and a nice park view. We opted in for the breakfast option but were disappointed by the lack of vegetarian options and by the dirty dishes and cups. It would be great for the hotel management to better supervise this side of the hotel operation. The other staff at the hotel, reception and Housekeeping are perfect. Will definitely stay here again!

The hotel was very nice and close to many restaurants and a shopping mall. I would have been more satisfied if the hotel was closer to Las Ramblas; however, the Barcelona Metro is a 10 minute walk away and takes you in 15 minutes to the Las Ramblas area. The on-site restaurant was very good and we enjoyed both breakfast each morning and dinner one night. The staff is very friendly at the front desk and at the restaurant.

Checked in to this hotel for 7 days. The arrival was fantastic and allowed us to check in to our room early. The room was spotless and exactly what we needed. Everything that we could have needed was supplied in the room. The housekeeping was fantastic and replenished everything when requested. We dined in the on-site restaurant most evenings and the service from Darwin was amazing, a true credit to AC hotel Diagonal. The food was outstanding and drinks served promptly. The location of the hotel was perfect and we couldn’t have wished for more. All the front of house staff including the breakfast hosts were superb. We wouldn’t hesitate in returning here next time we visit Barcelona. Thank you to all the staff that went out of their way to make us feel welcome.
