The hotel is so clean and has a wonderful, helpful staff. Both agents are so friendly and a big asset to your hotel Camilla from Germany is awesome. Would Recommend this hotel to anyone with a great location. 2 minutes walking to a beautiful shopping center.

We stayed here twice before our cruise for several days as well as a couple of days after our cruise.
The hotel was able to accommodate my family for early arrival and also assist with taxi, late checkout, etc.
It is a walk to the main sites - took us about 30 - 40 minutes with a leisurely stroll to get to the heart of the city. Definitely doable and you can grab tapas along the way.
The mall area, which the hotel is located within, has a ton of shops as well as plenty of restaurants nearby.
We didn’t sign up for the breakfast, which they don’t offer for free...even to platinum members, but didn’t really impact us as we would pick up a few things at the market and then nibble our way into town (or grab a quick taxi for about €10 max).
Definitely exceeded our expectations and would recommend for families looking for space a little outside the city center.

We stayed for 3 nights prior a cruise and 1 night after. Got upgraded to suites both visits and very much appreciated the quality of beds, TVs, bathrooms and reception greeting by staff.
The hotel is located in nice safe clean area and part of a large shopping mall. The food court downstairs in mall has plenty of variety and good quality food and a good sized grocery store in mall. Lots of good restaurants in area, and I’d highly recommend IL tap, which had good selection of draft beer and wine & tapas. Loved Barcelona

I don't know where to begin with this hotel, it is by far the best Marriott I have ever stayed in. The design, the staff, the location--I loved it all. The hotel is newer and the rooms are HUGE (even by American standards!), the design is mid-century modern and you just feel so expensive being there. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location is in a quieter side of Barcelona but all the tourist sites are easily accessible by public transportation (we had a City pass during our stay, so worth it!)--I could tell that this was a more affluent side of town where locals live. I will certainly make this my go-to hotel when visiting Barcelona!

The AC Hotel Diagonal is the perfect hotel. It is located on Ave Diagonal, a beautiful and wide avenue, reminiscent of a Parisian boulevard. There are beautiful shops up and down the street, and a large mall nearby. The hotel is modern, the rooms are spacious, well-equipped, and very clean. Bed and linens are very comfortable and enable a good night sleep after a long flight. When we were at the hotel, the service provided by Alejandro Marin, at the front desk, was exceptional. We are Sabbath Observers, and as such, we don't use electronic keys or ride in elevators on Saturday. Alejandro could not have been more accommodating. He walked up the staircase together with us, and helped us into our room. Anything we asked for, was provided, with a smile. No questions asked. This excellent service provided by Alejandro, together with the prime location, and beautiful rooms, make the AC Diagonal Hotel, a hotel we will return to the next time we're in Barcelona!

The hotel is very well located attached to la Illa shopping centre and within minutes by bus to the centre of the city. The rooms are spacious and well appointed with AC distinctive touches for travellers and they offer a great value for money breakfast with very good quality. Good for families with kids as the bus and tram are right in front of the hotel. The health club is limited but you can still work out.
In terms of service the F&B team does a great job and in the front office Amelia Jimenez is a gem great attitude and smile that makes you feel welcomed.
I would recommend this hotel if you want to visit Barcelona as well as shop around.

With a friend we went to a concert in Barcelona and we stayed at AC hotel.
I arrived very early (10.30) and wanted to leave my luggage and walked until check in time, fortunately for me they had one room available and gave it to me immediately. Was able to take a small shower and relax a little.
The hotel is located in a nice neighborhood with many small bars, shopping centers close to it. From the airport i took the line 9 till the end (zona universitaria) and went walking (20/30 minutes), you can also connect here with the metro line 3 and get off at Maria Cristina. The fare from the aiport only Eur4.50.
The hotel room was comfortable and very nice bathroom.
Wifi fast, but not always included. Barcelona city has free wifi in the streets at a good speed.
Breakfast is not included.

Finding a room for 3 adults in Europe can be tough and this was 1 of our few options, and it turned out to be great! Located in a busy shopping area and along the tram line with the metro being about a 5-10 min walk away was perfect. The room was spacious and clean, & free bottled water was a bonus on the 1st day! You can buy a hop on hop off discounted ticket from the hotel - you pay a deposit in cash of €4 to the hotel and then the balance to the bus company at pick up. There are close pick up stops to the hotel.

I only stayed at this hotel for one night so I cannot really give a detailed feed. However a few things to comment. The room I stayed in is super clean and spotless. The room has all the amenities you need and given it’s a lower cost hotel, the standard is very good.
AC is what you would call a basic functional hotel. It hits all the marks and checks all the boxes. Checkin is really quick and the desk manager was must helpful.
Nearby you will find a mall with shopping and a food court. There are also a row of restaurants and bars behind. Spoilt for choice for dining.

I stayed at this place due to a business trip. Overall a good hotel well located and with plenty restaurant options near by. the rooms are very clean, comfortable and good size. As a tourist I would probably stay a little bit closer to the main attractions but it is worth to consider as well that hotel.
