We only stayed for one night but wish it was longer. We chose this hotel as we were going to see a Barcelona fc match at the Camp Nou and this hotel was a 15 minute walk away. Our room was spotlessly clean and very spacious. We had three large beds which was ideal as our son is very tall! The bathroom was large and they supplied all the little extras you may need. We didn't have time to visit the bar or restaurant but the hotel is in an excellent location near a shopping centre and there are lots of bars and places to eat nearby. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we would definitely return.

We stayed in this hotel for about 9 nights and it was an unforgettable experience. Firstly its located at such a place that you just love it instantly. The staff of the hotel is also very nice .I have a 6 year old boy for whom I required many trips to the kitchen
Making maggi boiling milk or anything like that and their the staff of The Suite Bar really were very welcoming everytime I went .
They would lovingly take instructions from me as how my son liked his noodles and other things and pack it nicely and give me.
I don't know the names of all of them but one and that was Marco Oddera .He was exceptionally good and I never felt that I am in a hotel with no access to kitchen.
Thank u Marriot for treating us so nicely.
WheneverI go to Barcelona I will always stay here.

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights, and had a quite pleasant stay in one of its suites. Hotel is a very good value, and the staffs are professional and helpful. It has modern and stylish ambiance, conveniently located in one of biggest avenues in Barcelona (30 min from the airport by taxi) and surrounded by shops (attached to L'illa shopping mall) and offices. To reach the city center, public transport is also quite easy to access. Tram is just in front of the hotel, which will bring you to the nearest metro station (Maria Cristina) in 5 min, and connect to the metro line and reach La Rambla in 15 min. The room is quite spacious, comfortable, clean and well-stocked with a lot useful amenities. However, just 2 minor points on the room location and setup. In order to get to the room, you have to go through the restaurant/bar (2nd floor), which feels a bit odd. In my opinion, the room is also not setup optimally using the available space. The living room has 1 giant meeting table with 6 chairs, instead of having proper furniture such as sofa and side table, which makes it feel like a meeting room instead of a living room. Nonetheless, I had a great stay and you get certainly bang for your buck here.

In a quiet part of the city, 2 miles from Sagrada Familia, the hotel is served by a tram and frequent cabs passing down Diagonal. Away from the tourist zones, we found this neighborhood a great place to decompress after sightseeing.

There are several local restaurants embedded in the neighborhood near the hotel along with a quaint jazz club less than ten minutes away on foot.

An adjoining shopping mall offers an extensive food market experience and a neighboring hotel offers space for a variety of restaurants and cuisines.

The restaurant at the AC is terrific, offering nicely prepared dishes in a quiet atmosphere.

The rooms are spacious and quiet - windows facing Diagonal are triple-glazed, corridors are carpeted, and no sound was heard from adjoining rooms. In fact the mini-bar refrigerator made most of the background sound.

The staff is remarkably friendly and seem to genuinely care about guest command satisfaction. Anna, Uxia, Mar, Andres, Christian were so helpful during our five days in Barcelona.

If you want to stay at a first-rate hotel, away from the crowds and C only ten euros away from the many sights by cab, there’s no place better in Barcelona than AC Diagonal d’Illia.

The hotel is comfortable and clean. Rooms have a modern look. Staff is very pleasant and extremely helpful. It is walking distance to bus service, trams, and the Metro (approx. 3 blocks) for transportation to the City Centre. Also, walking distance to Camp Nou. - If you need your Starbuck's Coffee in the morning, there are two locations very close to the hotel. A very good tapas bar close by as well ("Piscolabis") Would definitely stay again!
