We stayed for one night in April prior to our condo being ready. Taxi from the airport was about 25 US$.
I’m a Bonvoy Titanium member and my status was recognized with restaurant vouchers and a late checkout. I used a SNA to upgrade to their one bedroom suite. The suite was a great space, had a bathroom with a soaking tub and separate shower. Fridge, microwave, no dishes though.
The hotel felt newish and fresh.
Phillicia (sorry for the spelling!) at the front desk was exceptional helpful and friendly, left a good first impression of the hotel.
The restaurant was bright and cheerful. We had a full breakfast in the morning and a club sandwich and fries for dinner, both were excellent.
The location is decent for a short stay. The beach across the road is excellent but unfortunately there are no loungers/umbrellas available for Courtyard guests. The local bus stops right in front. A great boardwalk and restaurants are nearby. Area felt very safe. The pool is fine for a quick dip. Pool towels available.

Went on business last week with a diverse group from all over the Caribbean. It was an excellent trip. Extremely courteous staff throughout all areas of operations. Many small gestures done.
Buffet breakfast were large, varied and tasty; included an omelette station, fresh baked bread / pastries, etc.
Rooms and bathrooms were always cleaned every day and properly re-stocked (small handwritten notes to guests).
They brought in fresh coconuts one day during one of our business sessions!!
Beach is across the street, 5 min walk.
My only peeve was the stay was not recorded on my Marriott BonVoy account despite pointing it out on arrival (I’ll have to follow up).
Will look forward to next visit there. Great value for money.

The hotel and staff were amazing. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by the front desk staff with a smile.
I was helped by Janelle & Shaquille they were helpful and gave me a lot of good information about the hotel and the surrounding area of what to do and eat.
I also met the front desk manager Vernita and the GM Kelly-Ann who were very accommodating with any request i had. They were so helpful with getting us into a room with a nice view of the sunrise & set. They wanted to upgrade us to a suite but unfortunately none were available for the full 7 nights we were there. If you dont know about the Marriott Bonvoy program you should register. Even working with me to decorate the room while we were out for my girlfriends birthday.
The food was great and reasonably priced, i cant remember having anything we didn't enjoy and we tried almost everything on the menu. Its not often hotel resturants have great food. But more importantly the staff was very pleasent and helpful. Chanel & Tranisha were sooooo amazing. Greeted me as soon as they saw me by name. It was a pleasure speaking with them and being served by them.
The hotel also has a localncar service company with a desk on-site for your transportation needs. From car rental to taxi service. You can even book and have the charges added to your room bill for added convenience.
Even though this property isnt a beach front. You still have views of the ocean from some of the rooms and it is a short walk from 2 different beaches.
The entire staff was just simply amazing and really made our experience that much better. I would definitely reccomend staying here on your next trip to Barbados.

We spent six nights here after a Caribbean cruise. If we had known before the cruise how Barbados is such a disappointment we would not have bothered. Costing almost £300 per night including breakfast it is very poor value. The rooms are quite nice apart from the bathroom which was circa 1985. That sort of price in London would get you an excellent hotel with a great breakfast. Breakfast here reminded us of school dinners with trestle tables holding containers containing luke warm food. On the plus side the staff were usually polite and friendly. The problem is that all hotels in Barbados are dramatically overpriced, especially for a country which is so rundown. Terrible roads with few pedestrian pavements that are usable and a preponderance of shanty towns. Few beaches where you can safely swim in comfort due to heavy seas and rapidly deepening water. For this in February you can easily pay up to £1000 per night for a good hotel! It is not in the best part of Barbados, for that we discovered you need to be on the west coast around Holetown. We completed a report requested by the hotel and received an apology. After suggesting that the best apology would be a partial refund for such an overpriced hotel we heard nothing. We found it interesting that when we spoke to people who had previously visited Barbados and other parts of the Carribean the general impression was never again!

Hotel was very clean and tidy. Staff were very friendly. Selection of meals was not in a variety, but with the limited menu, the presentation was very good. Rooms were nice and spacious. The hotel had a covid test facility, which made it much easier to obtain a covid pcr or rapid antigen test, prior to travel. The premises was within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants.

This was a short stay over Christmas. The hotel is very much your typical US layout Marriott. Comfortable but with the noisy style AC. Breakfast was good with plenty to chose from but with a heavy price $50us per guest. This seems standard for the Caribbean. The only issue was the evening meal. Very slow to arrive, starters and mains came together and was poorly cooked.

We always stay at Marriott hotels so when we planned our time in Barbados this was the only choice. The hotel itself was alright clean and maintained and did meet our needs. The problem we had were the employees at the front desk and the service at the restaurant. We asked basic questions on restaurants and access to the beach and the answers were either incomplete or inaccurate.

We stayed here for one night after a cruise. The hotel was clean and comfortable. They feature many US television stations and offer very fast WIFI for streaming and downloading movies for our flight. The best part is the restaurant Buzo next door. The restaurant is not connected to the hotel. Food was a surprise—innovative and delicious. We are glad we chose the Courtyard by Marriott

We had a wonderful one week stay at this hotel. The hotel is very nice, has a beautiful pool and a workout gym, the staff is exceptionally nice and pleasant, and the rooms were absolutely perfect, very spacious and clean. Excellent housekeeping staff. Easy access to a beautiful beach which is right across the street, where you can rent beach chairs for $15/person from The Coconut Court Hotel with which Marriott has an arrangement with. The highlight of the stay at this hotel was one of the staff members, YAKSENIA, how made ABSOLUTELY sure that my gluten free needs were taken care of ( even thought I made the hotel aware of that way before we came). Immediately she ordered a variety of gluten free supplies just for me. As a result of it not only that I was able to enjoy my meals but we also ate at the hotel every breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout our entire stay!!!!! She should definitely be commended for her initiative, her care to customers and her loyalty to the brand.

Everything you expect from Marriott, a clean and comfortable hotel near a lot of attractions. They have a breakfast either off a menu or a well appointed buffet. We enjoyed the pool (very quiet) and the front desk could not have been more accommodating, extra towels, watching our luggage and lining up cabs.
