After travelling for 15 hours we were looking forward to chilling out. On arrival we were told our room was not ready despite the booking confirmation stating 3pm. It was eventually ready at 6pm! This is obviously a regular occurrence as we were given a poorly photo copied slip offering us a free meal in their grill restaurant or reward points. As we were exhausted we decided to use the meal voucher but the food was mediocre, although the staff were lovely.
Our room (211) was very dark and tired and in need of an update with a very noisy air con unit.
We fell into bed and the following morning threw the curtains back to find somebody lying on a sunbed 2/3 feet from our full length bedroom window!
