First visit to TSR - nice relaxed location - small and quite intimate with some good local Caribbean music being played by a DJ. Great selection of drinks, including wide range of cocktails. Menu has some lite bites , selection of starters and mains. I had the meatball starters followed by the port ribs with a Jack Daniel’s sauce - both extremely well cooked, presented and tasty. Others had the sweet potato croquettes and the pulled pork over fries again well presented and tasty. Food service was good, only criticism would be the low tables which meant we were eating off our knees . Overall a pleasant experience, food was exceptional, great background music.

Thanks for your comments. Although we never intended the lounge area for dinner a lot of people love it so much they don't want to move to have their dinner at the bar, high tables, or outside area. Glad you still enjoyed the food!

We were introduThe fced to this Speak Easy, Sipping room by a friend we made whilst on holiday and what a fantastic place the owners Hosea and Cathy are amazing people who spend time with all the visitors. The food is impeccable, especially Steak Sliders are a must taste. The bar is stocked with the very best drinks from all over the world as well as the best of Barbados.
They also have entertainment of the highest quality every night, our last night they gave us the run of the DJ and it felt like the very best home party dancing and enjoying the vibe, we will be back on our next visit.
If you go to Barbados this is a MUST visit venue you will not regret it.

A very enjoyable place, Cool, Friendly , Clean and Comfortable. They really care that you are having a good time. The Food was delicious and I could not make up my mind about which Cocktail , so the Bar Man (after asking about my taste) made one especially for me. Great Service . Lovely.

Went there as it had really good reviews
Unfortunately our experience was not great at all as they appeared rather understaffed
Long wait for waiter and we had to wait for more than 1 hour to get our food.
Food was rather bland and not worth the money. My recommendation is to go to Cheffette instead. Some kind of food quality but cheaper.
The owner and a few other employees were sitting on the benches behind the restaurant and she wasn’t interested in helping either the waiter or the chef in the kitchen. Only afterwards she asked how the food was.
I would have expected some more professionalism from her as she didn’t even offer as anything as a form of compensation - e.g. free drink or free dessert
Disappointed. Do not recommend!

As I explained to you that night, it was unfortunate that we were short-staffed in the kitchen and the wait staff, and I did apologize for that. I also apologized that you were not happy with your meals and I did offer you to come back and have something on us, but you were leaving the next day. It is definitely not our norm to have slow service or long waits for food. I'm sorry you hit us on a rare "off" night.

Like others have mentioned If you walk past The Sippling Room you would have no idea of what’s going on inside.
The inside bar area is very cool and the outside food area is plain and quirky.
However, what you’d be missing is some great food and friendly attentive service.
We had the catch of the day - Marlin grilled with garlic mash and also the BBQ chicken with their home made rum based bbq sauce. The bbq sauce is to die for!
The charcuterie could have been better and we probably would give it a pass the next time as it meant we could not finish our mains.
Don’t walk by, go in and have some great food and company

If you’re looking for somewhere classy to hang out or to fine dine … then The Sipping Room is your next “go to” venue.
We walked past this place a couple of times, not knowing that it served food, assuming it was a bar.
Thankfully we realised and made a reservation.
Our email was replied very promptly and we were very pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and decor of the interior.
Deon, our server was so friendly and welcoming, polite and interesting to talk to … charming.
The Slider Starters were enough for a Main Course.
Our Rum Punches were divine, and the catch of the day was served piping hot and delicious.
Despite having a good portion we still managed to have some of Cathy’s Carrot Cake … the best I’ve had for years.
We’re already booked in for another evening … I guess we’ll have to try the Pork Ribs?

Visited The Sipping Room on half a dozen occasions during our twelve day stay at Coconut Court, which is 300yds away. We couldn't understand why it was so quiet. Every meal we had was top quality, the service quick, efficient and very friendly. In fact, there was nothing to dislike about the establishment and the prices very favourable when compared to similar dining options. Thanks to all concerned and I sincerely hope you flourish in the future. Just a suggestion to management. Perhaps better, bigger signage might be an idea, as, presently, it hardly jumps out at you and talking to other holiday makers who had walked past, they hadn't noticed The Sipping Room.

My first Visit to the Sipping Room was a pleasant and enjoyable one. It was July 18th 2021, it was their Sunday evening Jazz lime from 6-8pm. The artist who performed was Remario Greaves on Sax, he was awesome. He played for 2:15 hours non stop. The Sipping Room is some place I’ll go to every weekend once I’m in Barbados. The ambiance is just great, the place have great wine etc. I can not comment on the food now, because My friends and I only drank because we were not hungry. The next review I write I’ll tell you about the food. I nearly forget to mention, the owner of the place is such a sweet and warm person, make you want to return to the place.

Huge selection of fine whiskeys, wine and cocktails. Our group sampled whiskeys rum and wines. The girls sitting next to us loved their cocktails. All at a very reasonable price. It was full for dinner so we had Fishcakes as a bar snack and they were the best we’ve had on the island. Crispy outside and not greasy and lovely fluffy fish inside.
Cosy bar with smart interior and a great choice of drinks and food. The service was very friendly and efficient.

Wanted to take my husband somewhere special for his birthday. Was talking with the bar staff at my hotel and there was nothing but positive comments about this place . Beautiful bar, romantic vibe. Outside seating as well. I ordered the Fish Cakes as an appetizer , delicious doesn’t describe these delicacies. I also had the fettuccine with shrimp and my husband ordered the steak sliders, both meals were ridiculously good. We knew we were coming back to enjoy some more Fish Cakes before leaving the island, so we just went ahead and made additional reservations . Really enjoyed this dining experience. If I could just get my hands on that Fish Cake recipe!!

Had a fabulous meal here last night with my mom. We sat inside and it has a super cool vibe and decor and powerful air con! They have beer on draught which was a novelty. We both ordered the catch of the day (marlin); I had rice and my mom had macaroni pie with it and we shared a side of fries. The fish was incredible and the best we’ve eaten here so far - even beating out Oistin’s Friday fish fry! We shared a bottle of wine and then I had a mojito and she had a G&T. The service was impeccable and so friendly. All in all this is a must visit, whether for cocktails (the mojito was delicious) or a slap up dinner.

This is a great little gem to find.The food is fantastic with what we had. Sliders had good variety, and the pulled pork fries were some of the best I’ve had in quite some time.
On top of all that the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

The Sipping Room is a great place to meet friends and have cocktails in a comfortable lounge. We also found out that it also serves some of the best food around. The dining is outside in a very informal setting. The food is what stands out. We had ribs (some of the best on the island), pasta and assorted other dishes. All were fabulous and at a reasonable price.

Nice atmosphere and lovely staff who were professional friendly and efficient. The bar plates on the menu were tasty and plentiful and would highly recommend. We would have visited again the following night but sadly it was closed and we had plans for our remaining nights on the island.
Get a bigger sign outside so it stands out more because it’s well worth patronising

Such a lovely evening with our two 20-something daughters. A relaxing intimate spot. The food was out of this world, including swordfish and hard-to-find vegetarian meals (deep fried tofu and a plantain/sweet potato appetizer). Service excellent.
