Yes, mine was a quarantine stay but the hotel was excellent. They had figured out how to make room service tasty and affordable. The staff was delightful and worked hard to secure my retest appointment. When it was time to depart, they helped me book a car. While this sounds very routine for a good hotel, they did it with style and grace. I would definitely stay here again.

The Hotels is close to Bridgetown. So approx. 45 minutes to walk to get to downtown Bridgetown. Nice beaches are close, so in walking distance.
The hotel itself is not direct on the beach, separated by the main street to Bridgetown.
It is a typical Courtyard, not yet modernized, so old styled bath etc. But it's clean and well maintained.
So depending what you are looking for. It not ideal for a relaxed vacation on the beach but for short stay a good choice.

As always, a great stay at a wonderful hotel. The staff here are all excellent. Their attitude is always happy and professional. Just want to recognize a couple of staff members who went above and beyond. Phylicia at the front desk, who ALWAYS remembers my name and Gloria in the restaurant with her constant smile.

We spent our first 2 nights there. The room was small but had everything we needed, nice bathroom with good water pressure. Very clean, housekeeping was outstanding. Very nice lap pool and deck which we had to ourselves most of the time. Exercise room well equipped. Good location with access to the beach across the street and walking distance to restaurants .

Stayed here as a forced stopover as flight cancelled. Room was functional, had very noisy air conditioning unit , Bar area was pleasant. Reception staff helpful . Got there late and left early so not much time to see anything else.

All of the staff were friendly and gracious. The food in the restaurant there was delicious and reasonable. We just had a great experience! We had a suite and it was spacious and lovely - overlooked the pool. There is a nice work-out room and the hotel is conveniently located to all the major sights in Bridgetown! Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming to this property now for 11 years (since it first opened). The hotel, staff and management are all excellent. The ladies at the front desk are some of the best in the business. Staff is very friendly, hotel is very clean and location is perfect (lots of restaurants close by). The hotel breakfast is extremely good.

The Courtyard Barbados is a great hotel, room was clean and very spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. This isn’t an ideal hotel if you want to be near the beach but great for a short one night stay as was the case for us.

The hotel was very nice. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Lots of restaurants within walking distance and within walking distance to beach. Staff was attentive and pleasant. I would stay here again and would recommend to others.

We - a group of three couples - stayed at this hotel for one night only while awaiting flight layover the next day for holidays in Mustique. At that time we booked for another night 7-days later upon our return. The front desk staff checked and indicated space was indeed available. We were provided paper with forms to complete to secure our reservation. Each couple completed a form with our credit card information, contact information including cell phone, email, etc. Three forms were completed and handed back to the staff at check-out
We arrived back May 20 and upon arrival at the hotel we discovered we had no reservations. This is where the service issue began. After several minutes of debate were it was suggested by the staff several times that we might not have actually booked, it was conceded that apparently the information from the paper forms was never logged into the system. It is evident that the front desk staff were insufficiently trained to handle such a situation for they only stated that there would be an "investigation", but never offered a sincere effort to assist us or mitigate the issue in any manner whatsoever. We were directed to use their lounge computer to locate another hotel, and only after complaining that they should be undertaking this effort, did they start making calls.
To add insult to injury, when one of our party indicated she was posting negative comments on-line, security staff were called. At no time did any of us raise our voices or cause a commotion that would have justified a call to security. We were polite and respectful at all times, even following the embarrassment of this act.
We did book another hotel on-line and asked if Marriott would comp our taxi fare of $20 US. The request was declined. As we climbed into the taxi under the watch of security, the person from the front desk was writing down the taxi plate number.
I am a Marriott rewards member and often choose to stay at Marriott when travelling abroad as typically the service and accommodations are generally very good. I can only assume and hope that the staff at this location on that day were not trained to Marriott standards. What was surprising was that we were advised by staff that they had spoken to their manager (who did not appear), suggesting that the lack of customer service skills extended up the chain of command.
To be fair, our stay here at the first layover leg of our trip was enjoyable. Clean rooms, attentive wait staff, great pool, good food. In retrospect we should have insisted on receiving a reservation confirmation number. A painful lesson for us, and I hope hotel management learn from this as well and improve their on-site reservation process.
