Write a revieweasy taxi ride from the airport and another easy ride over to the port. Location is just across the street from the ocean...there is free access to the beach right across the street from the hotel...where you can watch the sun go down nightly. Rooms are very clean, ours had a balcony (not all do). There's a small outdoor pool and patio on the second floor. They have a restaurant in the hotel where you can order breakfast and dinner....as well as a full bar. Excellent Italian restaurant called Buzo's right next to the hotel's parking lot entrance

Dear Dave M, Thank you for taking the time to write this review, some people wonder how close we are to the beach and as you mentioned we are right across the street. There is a pedestrian crossing right outside the hotel and this allows for guests to cross the street safely. Yes, mine was a quarantine stay but the hotel was excellent. They had figured out how to make room service tasty and affordable. The staff was delightful and worked hard to secure my retest appointment. When it was time to depart, they helped me book a car. While this sounds very routine for a good hotel, they did it with style and grace. I would definitely stay here again.

The level of courtesy impressed me for a third world country and a small island as Barbados. The buffet breakfast in the morning was good and there was no difficulty for parking. The room was clean and the decor was also attractive. I would recommend this hotel to any visitor to Barbados.

My wife and I stayed here 3/11/13 through 3/15/13. It was our first trip to Barbados.
Hotel is well run. the rooms are clean and modern and the staff was friendly, courteous, and outgoing. A member of the staff named Andre was extremely helpful and went out of his way to help us learn about beaches, restaurants, and driving directions. The price was attractive. Our room had in room Wifi that worked well and there was no extra charge for this service. Housekeeping did an excellent job of freshening or room each day. There is plenty of onsite parking. The hotel is within a short walking distance of several very good restaurants. There is a beautiful, scenic beach just across the street, but it is rocky just beyond the water line.
All in all we liked this hotel and would stay there again

This Courtyard in no way lives up to American Courtyard standards and I'm not sure why it's included in the chain. We checked into this hotel yesterday, which ended up being a five hour wait for our room. We went to the hotel after a cruise, about 10:30a.m. The front desk had no information on their system that I was a platinum rewards member and told me that I needed to call Marriott when arriving back to the US and get my details straightened out. I produced two documents to them, my printed reservation and member number off my Marriott credit card, which finally convinced her of my membership level. Anyway, I was told that nobody in the entire hotel on the 'executive level' would check out until at least noon, with many of those not checking out until 4pm. I found this to be a blatant lie as we saw many, many people checking out in the morning. They finally gave us a room around 1pm which looked out onto the roof of another building. You could literally step out of the balcony and onto the roof of another building with a parking lot. The shower had chipped up tile, furniture all knicked up, etc. Hard to believe this was an executive room and right across the hall from the main housekeeping closet with employees yelling constantly. So we waited patiently until 3:30 to change to a another room which was a smaller room overlooking the small view of the ocean through the trees. The hotel manager, Diedra, attempted to help us with the situation, however we felt like we got the runaround all day. Wasted out entire day in Barbados dealing with this hotels nonsense!!!!!
