We dined here twice during our stay and had the chateaubriand on our 2nd visit as it was our anniversary. Yes a supplement applied but it was worth every penny to have a perfectly cooked steak served and cut at your table. Choice of two red wines which whilst acceptable were not great so choosing from the wine list recommended. Staff excellent and a very enjoyable experience on both occasions.

Warm and friendly hosts greet you on your entry to the restaurant. The decor is very eye catching and makes you immediately want to experience the delicious offerings on the menu. Thank you to Kerry-Anne and the amazing team who really went above and beyond to make my 40th birthday dinner a special one. I ordered my steak medium but it came well done and I brought this to the attention of my waitress who was able to have it rectified quickly. The chef personally came out to ensure the new steak was done to my specifications and that to me is what great service is all about. Highly recommend this restaurant if you're a steak lover.

We dined at Sizzle four times over our three week stay at Sugar Bay. A special shout out to Arden who runs a great team of attentive servers at Sizzle including Ronaco, Akiel and Roshanna, among others. We particularly enjoyed the filet mignon and New York Strip, each time cooked perfectly medium rare as requested, and the grilled salmon was tender, juicy and tasty. We asked them to convey our thanks to the chef and Chef Renee took a moment to come out to speak with us personally. Can't wait to return during our next visit to Barbados.

We enjoyed the succulent filet mignons which were grilled to our liking and full of flavour. We felt that the service was a little too attentive and had the feeling of being rushed to finish our meal. I do not like the idea of being asked what we are having for dessert as we are ordering the appetizers.

We ate here during our stay at Sugar Bay Barbados and was highly impressed! The steak was one of the best steaks we've had in a long time. Usually the food is mediocre when staying at all inclusive resorts but this steakhouse was impressive! The staff were phenomenal and I noticed that they not only made our table laugh but they also make everyone else feel welcomed and they want you to enjoy yourselves. Glasses were always full. We had the chicken wing lollipops for the appetizer, filet with a baked potato and pesto grilled vegetables. We were so full from our appetizer and main course that we skipped out on the dessert but from looking around the room at everyone else's dessert it looked really good! We ate at Sizzle Steakhouse twice during our trip because of how amazing the food was! A table next ours asked if the Chef would come out so they could thank him and everyone in the restaurant clapped for him which was well deserved!

On arrival we realised confusion over our reservation. Had received a confirmatory reply via messenger but not email. However we were eventually accommodated with a table which was vacant and we appreciated as a party of three.
Unfortunately it all went downhill rather after that. We had come on recommendation from someone at our hotel and reviews seemed fine, We had all wanted the Filet mignon but none available. These things happen so we ordered another steak. Unfortunately all three of us found the steaks extremely tough. I was asked at one point if I meant chewy. We explained we meant tough. The meals were beautifully presented and the sides excellent but the steak quality very poor, and it seemed as though service was very strange. We were left sitting with finished plates for a ridiculous amount of time. We had been asked at outset what we wanted for sweet and we said no idea at moment. Will see later . No one came to ask us during the meal if everything satisfactory. We had to stare at staff who seemed it more important to clear empty tables that no one was needing rather than focus on existing customers. We eventually after our staring was successful had our plates removed and then asked if all ok. We all politely said not really, disappointed, all steaks actually cold on arrival not just tough. Then we did decide we would have a sweet as the menu had looked so lovely. Unfortunately cheesecake not available but my friend and I both had bread and butter pudding which was lovely. We were then asked three times by different people about satisfaction. We assume our first answer was reported back, We just repeated, We asked for bill. Told to go to desk where it was scribbled on piece of paper which was difficult to read, we weren't really given it to check. We were told drinks taken off, but seeing as only one of us has had a couple of beers and my friend and I only tap water this was a very token gesture. We could not see if there was a service charge, so if there was we must have paid it but if given a bill in a proper professional manner we would not have done so.
It was clear restaurant is run on basis of all inclusive clientele and although appreciated table ( which was vacant ) being provided we were all disappointed.
The customer focus was dreadful. The staff were actually extremely pleasant who served us, it is clearly a basic staff development issue in the running. We have been coming to Barbados for many years and this is by far the worst service we have have ever had. We were not expecting champers standard but if you take a trip to Harlequin, Blakeys and Shakers as examples you will feel valued customers.
If you pitch your audience to external customers not just all inclusive you need to seriously review your offer. You are doing this as we saw a billboard in Bridgetown advertising.
One of the strangest customer services approach we have ever experienced but won't be back to try again.

Wonderful steak restaurant on site at sugar bay. We visited to celebrate our son’s birthday Our fillet steaks were absolutely lovely cooked to perfection. Also unknown to us the staff made a special desert and sang happy birthday to our son which was a brilliant surprise. Thank you so much to all who work at sizzle you made our night with you really enjoyable

Sizzlers has to be one of the best overall dining experiences of my life. Everything was perfect.
The staff were all amazing. So incredibly, unbelievably friendly and relaxed. From when we entered (without a reservation) and the manager found a table to squeeze us in, we were treated like a cross between royalty and old friends.
Then the food was incredibly. Seriously, I do not have enough superlatives for this place. We were given a lovely glass of rosé when seated and the staff were so attentive. Our toddler was ill unfortunately and didn't eat much of his food, but it was a great sized portion for a child and made to the same standard as the adult meals.
My partner and I had steak and I have to say it was the best steak of my life (and I eat a fair amount of steak in London!). The food, sides and sauce were all delicious.
Afterwards, the waited insisted I had to have a shot as a penalty as my son did not eat his food. He'd warned us beforehand about a rule that if someone didn't finish all their food they would either have to drink a shot or do 50 press ups, so I had to take my son's punishment on his behalf. The shot he brought over (and sat to watch me drink!) was also absolutely delicious - amazing to look at, sweet and not too heavy on the alcohol. He explained that they create their own shots and cocktails at Sizzlers and I wish I could try them all.
We then tried to come back for our last meal before leaving Barbados but sadly they were fully booked and couldn't fit us in again.
Don't make my mistake - make sure you book in advance and go to enjoy Sizzlers, there is absolutely no way you will regret it!!

It’s not every night that you can get a fabulous fillet steak when on holiday … usually the “steak” tend to be anything but tender.
But Sizzle Steak came up trumps with a beautiful steak to celebrate a Bajan Birthday …. The staff were so attentive, Amanda, our server was the perfect member of staff to ensure that our evening was special.
Chilled bubbly, perfectly cooked fillet steaks and a dessert of Apple Crumble left us satiated as well as any “fine dining” in the UK … we immediately booked a return visit next week.
Please note that this place books up quickly!!!

A very warm welcome from Arden and his wonderful team. Fabulous cocktails before we sat down.
We visited 4 times in 2 weeks. The food and service was that good. I had the chicken lollipops to start with a lovely sticky sauce rich and full of flavour. The fillet for main. Cheesecake for dessert.
I’m very fussy when it comes to steak. Don’t normally eat in steak restaurants as a rule so many disappointed meals. I’m a butcher by trade and my husband a trained chef. So it’s been hard to find steak that’s well cooked and full of flavour.
The steak was outstanding perfectly cooked and seasoned. Don’t think I’ve eaten better. I enjoyed every morsel. The cheesecake was also delicious. I had a few of the cocktail I really enjoyed the sizzle mojito.
I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. We had a great meal and excellent staff who really looked after us. All the staff happy and I think they were smiling underneath the masks.
The only downside of visiting the beautiful island in a pandemic is we didn’t get to see the beautiful smilies.
Looking forward to returning. Thank you to all the wonderful team.

Food was excellent. Meal included appetizer, entree, 2 sides, dessert, and a bread tray. Make sure you come hungry as it is a very filling meal. Steaks were cooked to perfection and were very tender with a variety of sauces to choose from. Creme brulee was possibly the best I've ever had. We were pleasantly surprised to be given a glass of champagne to start the meal. This was the only place at the resort where you could get drinks promptly and the service was very good.
Be sure to make your reservations on arrival. Not to be missed.

Really friendly welcome. Excellent service.
The chicken lollipops and sauce are one to try.
The steaks are simply indescribable, and in staying at Sugarbay, you be the chance to eat there as part of the all inclusive package.
An excellent night was enjoyed by all.

We are staying at Sugar Bay and this is available to residents. It is fantastic, the staff are brilliant, attentive and chatty as expected with the Bajain hospitality.
We had 3 courses and drinks as part of our all inclusive package, there is the option to pay a surcharge for some items but we didn’t feel it was required.
Steaks cooked exactly to our requirements.
We will be going back during our stay.
This is open to non-hotel residents also.

We stayed at Sugar Bay, and had dinner here on our last night as part of our all-inclusive dining.
It is very hot here. Unlike the buffet-which has a cross breeze, this restaurant does have a window, but with no cross breeze it goes nowhere.
Full disclosure-I'm not really into steak, but decided to order one just because I was here. The filet mignon was not my thing, but hubby loved his! I had a side of lobster mac 'n cheese which sadly was so salty I could not eat it. Crab cake appetizer was delicious, as was dessert (chocolate lava cake).
Personally, for me this was the least enjoyed meal of the entire 7 night stay. I'm sure if I was a steak person I would have a different impression.

We visited as part of our stay at Sugar Bay. The food was brilliant and service to match. I started with two large crab cakes which were delicious and then had the filet mignon steak which was so tender and perfectly cooked. My side was truffle and Parmesan chips - could have done with a bit more truffle for my tastes. I’d love to review the desserts but I couldn’t make it that far- the portions are very generous.
We were served by Akiel who was both friendly and professional.
