... be staying at your hotel from September 3 thru September 8. Just curious how deep the hotel's swimming pool is? Is it the same standard like other marriott hotels (5-6 feet)?
I swung through while in transit and found this hotel to be consistent with the nicer American-style hotels of warm greeting, ample amenities and good services. The drawbacks are that the beach access is across the street and right next to another hotel, so one may feel a bit like you're encroaching on their territory. Equally, when the seas are rough, the hotel pool is not too large. The gym also is on the small side, and the treadmills could use an upgrade. But the staff make up for it overall.... very helpful indeed.

A clean, modern, nicely furnished mid-price hotel, but not a resort. There is only one suite in the hotel, but some of the rooms have balconies (ours had a view of the parking lot). We were grateful that there was a restaurant in the lobby where we were able to have dinner after a tiring day of travel and breakfast before checking out. A real plus of Courtyard hotels: free internet. Most have pools; this one had a beautiful outdoor pool long enough for swimming laps.

The Courtyard is ok as business hotel. The location is good, rooms are comfortable, except for the noisy air conditioning units. It's the cheap wall mounted old style units, that tend to be quite noisy, and may affect your sleep if you are sensitive to noise. The pool is on the second floor on a "overhang" above the patio outside the restaurant. It's a bit of a joke, small, and not very inviting. I'm not sure what the architect was thinking...... Fortunately the beach is a 5 min walk (across the street) away.

Excellent, basic hotel with all the amenities you could want. The roof top pool was adequate. The staff is top notch. The rooms are nice and airy. The hotel is spotless. But we were in a suite which had a kitchenette but no plates, utensils, waste basket, paper towels. The pool is long, narrow and shallow. Go to the beach across the street, it's nice. The location is excellent. Lots of great restaurants just a short cab ride away.
