Write a reviewWe stayed at the Courtyard for a two nights and found it to be an enjoyable stay. The rooms are clean and the hotel is quiet. They do have rooms without a balcony, so if you would like to sit outside and enjoy your morning coffee or an evening drink you must request a room with a balcony. They do have a pool but it's only a lap pool, good for getting in a few laps of aqua exercise. The staff is very helpful and friendly!

First of all- if you want a resort hotel that has it all- do not stay here....we stayed for five days - the service is superb! The staff were incredibly nice, they couldn't do enough for you...room was perfectly clean- a/c was loud but not a real problem, and it worked well....we had a nice balcony room on fourth floor with view of ocean...pool and pool deck were rarely ever crowded- typically not more than 3-4 people- it is a long lap pool....the beach is across the street and they have chaises available, if you walk down about 100 yds. there is a newly built boardwalk that has great scenic views and leads to other beaches (all beaches in Barbados are public) and some nice restaurants, and then Accra beach....the food at hotel, although not a fancy restaurant, was very good- for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snacks, coffee bar and reg. bar there as well...in summary- very relaxing place, with the nicest staff, and good location as well....

We were on the 4th floor with an oceanview and overlooking the pool on 2nd floor. We stayed here 3 days before and 4 days after a Windstar cruise. Within an hour of being here we met Ulanda. Previously we had a marvelous, friendly check in. Ulanda was inspecting the pool area and we teased her from our balcony. From that point on we had a friend in Barbados. She recommended restaurants in walking distance and how to take the 11 bus if we wanted to venture further. Her infectious smile and dedication to serve customers was outstanding. She had Ronald call us , when we asked about tour guides, and we arranged for him to take us to the port, pick us up from the port and sightsee, sightsee for an entire day, and take us to the airport. Ulanda suggested a reputable, reliable, knowledgeable, safe driver and guide for us. When we returned Deidre Greene, customer care manager and Ulanda made sure our room was to our liking ( they were very full ) and everyone in the hotel at the restaurant, room attendant, front desk was very friendly and helpful all the time. The hotel is in a convenient location to Harrison's cave, George Washington house, and with Ulanda and Ronald's help you can see the entire island . We pretty much had the pool to ourselves every day and it was a short walk to the beach and boardwalk to more restaurants. Do yourself a favor and find Ulanda after you check in. She and Deidre will take good care of you and make your stay enjoyable. By the way the mattresses are very comfortable and the rooms clean. Enjoy yourself and tell Ulanda and Deidre that I said Hi ! We have friends in Barbados at the Courtyard Marriott that we will never forget.

From the time I checked in to check out this Marriott not only met but exceeded my expectations. Check in was refreshing, welcoming and quick and my room and view was wonderful. A slightly outdated decor was forgotten by the view of the ocean from the balcony. Each day I left for work I was told to have an incredible day and each night when I returned I was welcomed back with genuine smiles.

Very friendly staff, rooms clean and a good size, food ok but cheaper to walk to local restaurants, beach across the road which is lovely. Coffee facilities and a fridge in the room, did not get a balcony so best to ask when booking .
