I learned more on this tour than on any other excursion I have taken. I learned about and then actually saw historic sites that most people don't even know are there. Steve would show us a site and explain what happened there, then show us photos of what the site looked like during the Nazi era. His depth of knowledge about the people who made history on the sites we saw was most informative. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of the rise and fall of the Nazi Party, as well as for students of twentieth century history. Absolutely the best afternoon I have spent in a very long time. Great job Steve !

Great walking tour of Munich with a focus on its role in the Third Riech. Steve is very knowledgeable about the subject and interesting to talk to. He shows you the major sites and the hidden history which to most people look like just another building. In the process you learn about the rise and fall of the Nazis. Well worth the time and as bonus you can more than get your steps in for the day if not the week

Steve was super knowledgeable and helpful. He helped every detail go smoothly right down to exactly where to stand for the bus/train so the doors opened right in front of us. I could say a million other things but I’m very tired from another tour and don’t want to forget to do this.

Steve was a fabulous guide and Historian. He has been doing these WW2 walking tours for over 20 years. We spent two days with him and did Dachau and the Third Reich Tour. It is his insight, knowledge, patience that are unmatched. He knows where all the Third Reich secrets are and took us to sights and pieces of history we would never have found. I have done extensive reading and research on both areas but was impressed how much knowledge he had. We would highly recommend Steve if you want to learn this history. Plus he is an all around great person. If I could I would give him a 20/20!!! Thanks again Steve we hope to return to Munich someday, your new friends from Texas!!

Excellent walking tour of Munich with an emphasis on WWII and the rise and fall of the Third Reich. I have taken many tours in Munich - and this was the BEST one, by far! Steve is incredibly knowledgeable about the Third Reich and even has a personal connection to the history that he shares. He shares details from his research that you will not hear on any other tour. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour!

My husband and I both have a lot of interest in World War II history and we made the right choice to schedule Steve for our tour of Dachau and Munich 3rd Reich. Steve met is at the MarienPlatz train station. Had a bit of confusion which was my fault for not following instructions. We had his phone # so after a few calls, he found us. We took the train to Dachau and had an amazing tour. Steve is definitely an accomplished historian and has lots of family connections and extensive research to fill in all the blanks and give you a top of the line tour. I will talk more about Dachau in my review of the concentration camp. We ate lunch at the Dachau cafeteria, had schnitzel and apple streusel and all food was delicious. We then took the train back to down town Munich and Steve took us to several buildings and sites and gave us extensive background history. We highly recommend Steve for this tour and any World War II tour. He knows his history!!

What a fantastic way to spend some time to really get under the skin of the development of the NAZI party in the 1920's. Steve's knowledge, passion and props really brings the era to life but with the city of today. If you know the details or have a more limited understanding, Steve will give you something very special. I wish I'd had more time!

I had met Steve a couple of Years ago on another tour and we did a walking tour of Munich with him then. Before the day was over, I asked for a business card as I knew then he stood out from all the rest. --- Fast Forward two years and I'm taking my oldest Son, Jacob, on his Senior Spring Break. He wanted to go to Europe and Learn more about WW2. I knew who to contact - Steve! I arranged the trip and Steve was very easy to working with. The day of our tour came and Steve met us in the Hotel Lobby. He made everything so easy, he took care of the Subway tickets and had a plan of action for everything you as a Tourist would worry about. ---- Getting back to the Tour, Steve "Knows" the Third Reich from beginning to end. Across from our Hotel he took us to the site of a failed assassination attempt of Adolf Hitler that I did not know about and I'm thinking many of the locals don't either. The buildings had all changed, but a small plaque in the ground marked the spot of the place and time in History. We traveled all over this day and this was the type of things we where able to see. I am confident Steve is the Best of this type of thing hands down. We ended up our wonderful day at a local Biergarten. If you are loooking for a Tour of the Eagle's Nest or Dauchau, Steve does these too. He also does an English Air War tour in Great Britian as well. I just wanted to Thank Steve again for the Wonderful Time we spent together, both I and my Son reallty had a Great Time. I highly recommend for you to see Steve if you're in the area. He will not disappoint!

My husband and I spent an entire day with Steve learning about Dachau and Munich's role in the rise of the Nazi party. We spent the morning at Dachau and the afternoon walking around Munich visiting Third Reich sights. Steve is a wealth of knowledge and clearly loves his work. We especially enjoyed stories about people he has talked to over the years (both camp survivors and camp liberators) and his wonderful collection of Nazi era pictures of Munich. We learned so much more than we would have on our own - a day well spent!!
