Alen is an incredible guide. He is knowledgeable and kind and makes for a great visit to Dachau. He provides clear instructions and makes the most of the groups time at the site

This was a fantastic tour. Alun is very efficient at getting everyone on the S-Bahn and transferred to the bus in order to get the group to the site quickly and maximize tour time. Upon arrival at the site, I really enjoyed Alun’s tour - he has extensive knowledge of the site and was able to share a lot of really useful information. I also appreciated the time that was allowed for exploring the museum on our own rather than being guided through the museum like other groups. Highly recommend!

I highly recommend Alun Evans for your tour. You'll get more than just an escort, he really adds value and insight as a master guide, getting us the maximum info in the time allotted. He helped us on transport options, and made helpful suggestions for post tour activities. Thank you Alun!

Alun is an exceptional guide with a great depth of knowledge that he shared with our group. He was insightful and respectful looking after every member of our group. It can be confronting but we came away with a greater understanding of this dark period and highly recommend this tour.

Alun Evans was an exceptional licensed guide who showed interest and care for each member of the small group. He truly felt passionate about giving us insight into all the variables that tells the story about the Dachau camp. He was very respectful and sensitive to the Holocaust.

Alun did an amazing job creating an organized, efficient and interesting tour of Dachau. We left the Munich station and headed towards the concentration camp site. He kept us informed the entire way. It was so easy. We did not have to worry about train tickets or bus tickets. Once we got to the camp, he explained how Germany ended up electing Adolf Hitler. He gave us lots of interesting facts about Dachau. We walked around the entire camp for about two hours. I had been there before so it was so much better having Alun with us. I learned a lot more! The last hour of the tour you spend going through the museum and the barracks on your own. I would highly recommend his tour! I believe he has several other tours to choose from and I wouldn’t hesitate to go on any tour with him at any point during your vacation! He is outstanding!

Hi, I would like just a Munich tour for my family that doesn't include the Third Reich portion. Is is possible? I saw it advertised on trip advisor but then cannot find it when I tried to book.

Alun is very knowledgeable and has been in Munich for a long time so would be a good resource for you. He is very personable, professional and responsive. See my review of his Dachau tour. It was very meaningful and one we’ll remember forever.

Hello, Im interested in both the Dachau tour and the Third Reich tour. But my schedule may not be confirmed until that day. Is it possible to join at least the Dachau one first, and I would decide if I opt to join the Third Reich tour afterwards in the same afternoon?

Hi there,
The Memorial advises that the museum is not appropriate for under 12yrs.You can take kids but need to be aware of their sensitivity and take responsibility for steering them away from what you deem inappropriate. I try to Taylor my tours taking age into account. I do not show graphic images to kids generally that I may show to adults in the group.
