I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, the pictures online are deceiving. It was not clean we found a huge hairball in the bathroom that would make you want to puke it was so gross l! Empty cookie bag underneath the bed. I mean if I can find these thing when I wasn’t even really looking other than to check to make sure we hadn’t left anything behind then I would say they don’t take a lot of pride in truly cleaning! The pullout bed for my kids was broken and we were told to just prop it up with something! Will not be back a this place ever again. Our room was about 79 degrees when we arrived it was so sticky and musty feeling we were able to cook it down and take care of that but what was it that hot in the first place. Just not an enjoyable stay.

The facility was very good if you ever have an issue at a Hilton they address it right away. I only stay at Hilton's as I don't like to be disappointed. You just cant go wrong within a brand that really prides itself on excellence.

I selected this hotel because it had EV chargers. Even though they charge for valet parking, they allowed the chargers to be blocked by non-EV vehicles that didn’t leave their keys or contact information. As a result, when I arrived late at night, I could not charge. I found a charger at the paid CARTA garage nearby, but the hotel still tried to charge for valet. In the morning, I learned that breakfast wasn’t included - it was $11/person. The staff was polite and the room clean, but overall I felt like this hotel was not a good value for the money.

A couple of cotton balls in a potato sack would make for a better pillow than this place has to offer. They don’t use mattress protectors, just a thin fitted sheet that will pop off your mattress in the middle of the night. Asked for extra towels and shower gel several times and never received. Was told there wasn’t enough staff. I wonder how much longer businesses are going to use this excuse for what is truly just lousy service.

The staff at this hotel is so helpful. Chris on the night shift helped me find a room in a different location until they had a opening in this location, bc the whole downtown area was booked up. Once I was able to stay at this located the rooms were clean and very modern looking . The bed was comfortable. Great location to walk to all the restaurants and attractions. Everything is in walking distance. All the staff was very friendly and helpful.

If you are going to stay in the downtown Chattanooga area Hilton Garden Inn is a great choice. The south is super friendly, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the location could not be better. You’re within walking distance of the aquarium, find restaurants, fast food, live music and the beautiful riverfront. The breakfast is excellent. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Can’t beat the location! The breakfast was super tasty too, nicely done there. Parking was a little of a challenge - huge pickup trucks with trailers took up 4-5 spots each, leaving the lot full at night which was frustrating. The rooms could use some upgrades, and it was frustrating to see so many people without masks when the county requires masks and there is good signage.

Yes, just like with other hotel companies, some brands do and some do not include a breakfast complimentary. There are several brands within Hilton that do however, one being the Hampton Inn and Suites, which is our sister property and directly caddy-cornered to us on Chestnut. If you come to the area again, you can either book with them or you can also select the Bed and Breakfast rate at the Hilton Garden Inn. This is a package, which includes breakfast. Parking is free in the lot across the side street. Very short walk, maybe 50 - 60 yards.
Hi yes there is a heated swimming pool with a jacuzzi section as well
Breakfast is not complimentary at the property. We do offer a full southern style buffet, with made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs any style, etc., at the cost of $10.95/adult, $6.95/children ages $6.95, children under the age of 6 are complimentary.
The Children's Discovery Museum, TN Aquarium, IMAX Theater, High Point Climbing, Regal Theaters are located within 1 block of the hotel. There is an electric shuttle, complimentary, that runs every 15-20 minutes that will take passengers across the river to "North Shore" and various points throughout the city. The shuttle does not run to Lookout Mountain Attractions.
Parking fee is $8/per night.
