What travellers are saying
- Jaryn NFort Worth, TX15 contributionsThe Lookout Mountain area was the best part of our trip! There are so many fantastic family-friendly options and the scenery is absolutely beautiful. I can't wait to visit again in the fall – it's definitely on my bucket list!Written July 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Timothy ASaint Peters, MO190 contributionsAmazing Aquarium. Very well laid out. Upon arrival you take an escalator to the top floor and work your way down thru all the exhibits. This keeps you from missing anything! Friendly staff and well worth the time to visit! Highly recommended.Written July 15, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Brian LOcala, FL288 contributionsThis was a very nice trip into the heart of Lookout Mountain. I thought the entire complex was educational and gave a great deal of information about the history and discovery of Ruby Falls. But, what I didn't like was the overselling at the end of the tour. More than half the crown didn't care (including me) and were talking over the guide. Frankly, leave us with something more meaningful than selling more Ruby Falls tours, Zipline, etc. to us.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - John B3 contributionsWe did the Waterfall Dome adventure Erik, the guide did an awesome job. Offering us challenges and pointing out things along the way. He offered easier routes as well but nobody in the out group took the easy way out since we were all there for the adventureWritten July 20, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Brian LOcala, FL288 contributionsI thought the train ride was perfect for what I was looking for. It had a little bit of history (the actual route), a little bit of exploration (the maintenance shop) and a little bit of technology ( the round house). What I didn't want was a full (or half) day ride and this trip was perfect. The narration, though a bit quirky at times (folks) gave a nice amount of detail for the 1-hour excursion.Written July 13, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - FrumpydogBlaine, MN257 contributionsWe walked across this bridge in the evening, the breeze over the river was great! The views and nice as well. Not sure if dogs are allowed to walk on the bridge as they are not allowed in the parks around the bridge. But We walked our dog over the bridge without issue. You have to pay for parking, but it’s free to walk across the bridge.Written July 11, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - allyg19924 contributionsSo much to do! Fun for a variety of ages. We were there over two hours and still didn't see everything. We went on a Friday, and it wasn't too crowded.Written April 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Shaun SAtlanta, GA320 contributionsThis is a great place. Fantastic atmosphere, several whiskey options, great folks working there. You don’t have to do the tour - just sample some whiskey and buy a bottle on the way out. - Siobhan LBelton, TX977 contributionsWe visited as a family ( 3 adults, 1 child age 6). While it's a small zoo it was very well done. Easy to maneuver, even with construction going on. Nice shady walkways and benches periodically. The red panda did not disappoint. It was adorable. Really nice meerkat exhibit too. Staff were very accessible and friendly. We are members of the Fort Worth Zoo and got free entry to this one- there are many zoos across the country that offer 50%-100% discounts while visiting other ones- so check online and bring your membership cards. The entry fees though were very affordable. It was an enjoyable couple of hours.Written July 1, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
