    Great for Kids
There was lots to do here for our 9 and 6 year old sons. We arrived around 3:30 PM and had about 90 minutes to play before they closed. We could have used about 30-60 minutes to play. There was lots to see and do, but there was a little bit of a crowd so there was some waiting involved. We parked in the garage about 5 minutes away when you walk. We had a great time with the varied exhibits: music, cultures, clean energy, rockets, bees, water play, dinosaurs, physical play, and more. Pricing was quite reasonable.

    Fun with the kids
Amazing place for our kids to play and learn at. You could easily spend the entire day at the museum. While you are there get the year pass so easy and if you are from out of town like we are stay at the Hilton garden inn right beside it.

    So much to do!
We spent 3 hours at the CDM and still didn't get to everything there was to do! It is a very well done museum where you can allow kids to let their curiosity guide them through the activities. Each child is able to gravitate towards what interests them and spend as much or as little time at each of the activities as they would like. They have a snacking area if kids get hungry since food and drink are not allowed in the museum. The museum is also in a walkable area so you can stay close by and walk to the museum then go grab some food at the many restaurants in the area.

Great place for kids to play and learn!
Have spent many joyful hours watching my son play & learn here over the years. Started bringing him to the museum back when he was 1-year old and he’s now going on 6 and still loves it very much. We live in FL and come up to Chattanooga a few times each year for weekend getaways, and we always keep an afternoon free for it. It’s one of his favorites places and even from Florida, he asks when can we go there again quite often!

So much to do! Fun for a variety of ages. We were there over two hours and still didn't see everything. We went on a Friday, and it wasn't too crowded.

As a seasoned traveler and enthusiast of exploration, I had the pleasure of visiting the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN, and it was an experience that left an indelible mark on my heart. This enchanting museum truly stands as a beacon of inspiration and learning for both children and adults alike.

From the moment we stepped through the doors, I could sense that this was not an ordinary museum. The atmosphere was filled with an air of excitement and wonder, perfectly tailored to cater to young minds eager to discover the world around them. My 4-year-old grandson accompanied me on this adventure, and watching his eyes light up with curiosity and awe was an unforgettable experience in itself.

The museum's exhibitions were a delightful blend of education and entertainment. The interactive displays were designed to engage young minds and encourage them to explore, touch, and learn through play. From the colorful and imaginative arts and crafts section to the science exhibits that sparked his interest in the wonders of the natural world, my grandson was completely captivated at every turn.

One of the highlights of our visit was the hands-on exploration of a child-sized town, where kids can pretend to be firefighters, grocery store clerks, or even aspiring doctors. The joy on my grandson's face as he immersed himself in these role-playing scenarios was heartwarming. It was evident that the museum fostered a sense of creativity and imagination, allowing children to envision themselves in various professions and life situations.

The staff at the Creative Discovery Museum were exceptional and displayed genuine enthusiasm for their work. Their patience and willingness to engage with children made the experience all the more enjoyable. They were always on hand to answer questions, share interesting facts, and guide young learners through the exhibits.

As we ventured further into the museum, we discovered the outdoor play area, which was a true haven for kids looking to expend some energy while learning about the principles of physics through interactive play structures. My grandson couldn't get enough of the slides, pulleys, and water play activities, and neither could I as I reveled in witnessing his joy.

The highlight of our visit, however, had to be the "Water Park” and interactive installations, was a peaceful oasis that offered a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The joy and fascination on my grandson's face as he explored the natural world with the fountains, steams and boats were a poignant reminder of the importance of fostering a love for nature and the environment from an early age.

In conclusion, the Creative Discovery Museum in Chattanooga, TN, is a treasure trove of knowledge and inspiration for young minds. The blend of educational experiences, creative play, and the unwavering enthusiasm of the staff make it a truly special place. For me, however, the most meaningful part of the visit was seeing the expressions of wonder and excitement on my 4-year-old grandson's face with each new exhibition and experience. The memories we created together will be cherished for a lifetime, and I cannot recommend this museum enough for families seeking a fun and meaningful educational experience for their little ones.

If you find yourself in Chattanooga, the Creative Discovery Museum is an absolute must-visit destination. It will ignite the spark of curiosity and imagination in your child (or grandchild) leaving a lasting impact on both of your hearts.
