Basic Pizza

Lupi's Pizza was within walking distance to our hotel while we visited Chattanooga ... we gave it a try for dinner on a Saturday night. We placed our order online and it was ready for pickup when we arrived. It's a New York Style pizza, we would have liked a little more sauce (ordering online didn't allow a space to indicate special request) but it was still pretty tasty for that style. Courteous staff and the wait area was nice/clean when we arrived for our order. We liked the fact that there were two lines which helped expedite the process, whether you were wanting to wait for a table to sit/eat or picking up to-go orders.

Good pizza – worth a visit

Recommend you give them a try. A group of us stopped here for lunch on a Saturday. We got two 16” pies; one cheese only and one with sausage, half crumbled and half sliced links. We were advised one of the sausages was a bit spicy hence the half and half. It was good pizza; nothing to rave about but not bad either. IMHO they need a better crust but again not bad. The sauce is good. And yes, one of the sausages did have a kick so glad I just sampled it rather than having an entire slice. Staff were very friendly, helpful and completely accommodating to our large group of out of towners. Pizzas came quickly and they were hot but not burn the roof of your mouth hot. Reasonably priced too. All in all a good experience.

Spacious place during Covid

My mom and I visited Lupi’s Pizza for a late lunch/early dinner. We called ahead for our order and originally was going to eat in the car to avoid getting Covid. When we came to pick up our order, the last customers left and we were the only ones in the restaurant. The staff was kind enough to let us eat inside to avoid making a mess in our car. I like the remodel and new location. It’s way bigger than the old location. There is space to move around. Best pizza in Chattanooga.

Ordered a carry out small pizza with three ingredients - sausage, mushroom, and onion. The pizza tasted good, but the mushrooms were barely detectable. And a 12" pizza cost over $20.00 which is absolutely stupid expensive. Of course we chose to purchase it. But, we will never purchase another one.

OK Pizza but kinda expensive, Gondolier's is MUCH better and cheaper

Recently got a carry out pizza from here. Staff was very pleasant and efficient. However, our 16" pizza with 4 extra ingredients was $26.00!! Despite ordering extra cheese, it didnt contain much cheese and was kind of dry. For $29, I could have gotten TWO 14" pizzas from Gondoliers with the same toppings! I am one and one.

Not same Lupi’s

Used to be my go to for pizza in Chattanooga. In fact in past ot was my “goto” 5 star on TA. Not sure what has changed, but over pat 3 yrs it just it has slowly changed and it’s not the Lupis we have raved about for past 10yrs. Front of house was great, however they were out of several beverages we wanted and they didn’t have ice for sodas. Floor staff was discombobulated and we had very hard time communicating what we wanted when she checked on us. What ever we requested something different came back… Pizza was ok. One slice we requested seemed to be a reheated slice with more cheese on top (now cheese white…some charred was under it) …and as other reviews have stated, the sauce was overly “hot” spiced. Cook staff not very friendly or outgoing. Just not the same vibe and don’t know why

The bread loaf was great but to much oil and garlic in a bowl for dipping. All the garlic went to the bottom so it was like dipping in oil. The mini calzone was burnt on the top and bottom making it hard to cut. The atmosphere is fun and kids will love it.

Fair price. Environment is nice. Pizza mediocre at best

Price is fair. Family friendly. Service is fine. Pizza really wasn’t that great. Dough is either not seasoned or quite under-seasoned. Hand tossed but About 2/3 of the pizza is extremely thin crusted where it doesn’t hold up.

Possibly the best pizza in Chattanooga

While visiting having an outing with family from California and Alabama, needed a place food wise everyone could agree on especially with teenage kids. Lupi’s definitely did not let us down. The pizza was good, environment was good. The only issue which not really any fault of their own is parking. Other than that, one of the best pizza’s I have ever had.

Perfect Pizza Crust

New to living in the Chattanooga area so we are trying the local pizza places. The bar is now set very high for all others. We ate at the downtown location. Parking is on the street so that might be challenging for some. Other locations probably have parking lots. We ordered a pepperoni and onion pizza. It was delicious! The crust is very airy and it was cooked perfectly. The pepperoni has just the right spiciness. Next time we will try the lasagna or calzone.

Great food! Great decor!!

The atmosphere of this restaurant is only rivaled by the food. Incredible place to eat! The lasagna was completely devoured by one of our picky children. He said it was second to mine, but I’m still wondering if he was just being nice. My husband and I shared a calzone, and it was amazing! We also share the bruschetta. It was not as amazing, but it was still good.

Highly recommend !

My husband and I were excited to eat here, we ordered the Widow Maker + mozzarella bread. Everything was so fresh and delicious. We really liked the vibe and art that decorated the place. Highly recommend for families with kids and couples to visit. It’s also in walking distance to the children’s discovery museum.

Loved the pizza and the atmosphere. Feels a lot like a mellow mushroom but with more quaintness. The only push back would be the check out staff were very insistent on a tip. Which for a place where you order upfront and sit down yourself is a bit forward. Tip culture in America is a little ridiculous. We would have left a tip ourselves but only AFTER service not paying beforehand. The serving staff was awesome and seemed to be working super hard.

Place is fun to visit, staff super sweet. Pizza was good but I didn't like the super spicy sauce. There are no caffeine free, sugar free drinks available except water.

My favorite pizza outside of New York!!! The crust is a yeasty wonder smothered in your favorite toppings!! I’m swooning just thinking of it!!! Believe it or not the chocolate chip cookies are fantastic!!! A rich, buttery cookie loaded with chocolate chips!! Yummy
