The Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown Across from Circle Centre hotel is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana in the historic Chesapeake Building, which was constructed in 1929 as headquarters for the Big Four Railroad. Directly across from Circle Centre Mall, our Indianapolis hotel is within walking distance to over 30 downtown restaurants, Gainbridge Field House and Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Convention Center. Front Desk Personnel were all ExCELLENT and VERY accommodating with any questions or concerns. Ross who worked in valet parking was EXCELLENT and understood the needs of our group & helped us resolve any concerns with valet parking.
Only concerns were the “inside” rooms took a long time to get hot water for showers and the room I stayed in had a tub that needed replacing and a water stain on the ceiling.
Maid service was every 2 days if requested so this was difficult when sharing a room because of small garbage cans and no extra bags.

My wife and I needed to just get away! Someplace to relax and unwind!! We normally stay at a different hotel when we come to Indy but decided to give this one a try. I was not disappointed!! The location was excellent, the staff exceptional. I felt very secure. My room was excellent. I had hot water at 9:00 on a Saturday morning lol Use the Valet, it’s only a few more dollars than the self park. ($35 vs $27) Restaurants were close. Give this hotel a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

Staff never responded to several phone calls and emails about changing our reservation. Have been a long term Hilton Honors member and they didn’t care in the least bit. Still waiting on a response from the manager 5 days later. Horrible customer service.

We always enjoy our stay at a Hampton Inn. The room was cozy, accommodating, and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the courtesy shuttle to the convention center when it was rainy, but also enjoyed the walk to great restaurants downtown. The convention center is actually close enough to walk to. The hotel is in a great location and is a wonderful place to stay. :)

I must have interacted with every employee at the hotel over the three days my preschooler and I stayed in town, and every one of them went above and beyond my expectations to make sure we had a great stay. Four different valets were each awesome, ridiculously fast, and always positive too. The front desk handled absurd requests from "can I just look at a different room type out of curiosity?" to "do you have any ketchup?" with great aplomb, and everyone was delighted to interact with my kiddo (the breakfast staff was particularly kind and patient too in this regard!). And the room was beautiful and comfortable and I would gladly return in a heartbeat. Indeed I plan to!

Hotel in an old historic area. Walking distance to Lucas Stadium, great restaurants- be sure to try St Elmo’s for a fabulous steak. Lots of bars in area. Hotel was very clean, staff friendly. Only valet parking- $40/ night. They provide a “white noise machine” for the room- fair amount of car and street noise.

Our family stayed here for a family wedding this weekend. We were unable to check in until 3 pm but that was because the hotel had sold out the evening before so while it wasn’t ideal upon our early arrival we all understood. Our room was located at the end of the hall on the fourth floor. The room itself was very nice and the bed was comfortable. My only room complaint is the fact that you can’t actually close the curtains in the rooms. The hallway on our floor could use a deep carpet cleaning. They were looking well used. This was an overall nice stay. We would stay here again in the future.

We were in town for a concert with some close friends. Good times. The Hampton is conveniently located downtown. It is within walking distance of the circle, circle center mall, Lucas oil stadium, and the field house. Plenty of good restaurants and live music venues too. We adjoined rooms with our friends. The rooms were clean and roomy. Although a bit noisy late at night as this area of town comes alive at night. Good times, though. Parking is a little pricy as the valet service was $40 per night. The staff was more than polite and friendly. Especially Angelica. She is so kind. She presented us with a nice going away package as we were leaving. I showed up a day earlier and they were able to get me into a room that they made sure I was able to stay in for the entire trip so that I didn’t have to move all our stuff to the previously reserved room. We were able to use the 2nd floor dining area to have a celebration one night that was so great! All the staff was so friendly and made great recommendations to a mall trip. Excellent valet service from Keiron and Dwayne who had my car ready in minutes when I needed it. The breakfast was awesome. Excellent stay.

We needed a hotel room for a busy event weekend in Indy. This place had availability, was reasonably priced and had good TA reviews, so we gave it a shot. The location is one of its strongest points. It is located right in the heart of all of the activity in downtown Indy. We had a good impression of the staff right from the start. The room we were given was right next to the ice machine so we asked for a different room, and they happily relocated us in just a matter of minutes. The decor in the room was comfortable, but definitely a bit dated. the bathroom was decent, but the shower never really got hot and the pressure wasn’t great. A free breakfast buffet was available, as is the case as at most Hampton Inns. Unlike some of their properties, the breakfast area was quite spacious, which was good, because the hotel was very busy on the weekend that we were there. The food is about what you would expect – nothing spectacular, but it served the purpose.

Valet is $40, (we only stayed overnight) they do help with bags! I typically tip a few bucks when requesting my car. In and out privileges!! Hope that helps!!
Parking was $28 dollars a day. There was self parking in other garages, but I’m not sure of prices. I know the Circle Centre has parking but I’m not sure if you can park their overnight. I believe that price was $10 dollars max. Call tha Hampton and ask if parking is cheaper elsewhere?
Hello: It seems they have two or three lots, one directly beside the hotel, at least one a block away. Both open air, not really secure, just normal outside lots. We had no problems. Fees were probably $27/28.00 per day , a bit steep. Hope this helps. John
