We stayed in July 2022, it was great!!!The area is fantastic, it is a 8/15 minute walk to the pier, feris wheel, Basilica, old town which is safe and a great place to walk around and checkout with fantastic food and sites. Also we were right near multiple street fests in the district, we saw acrobatics, live music, looked at vendors, and again saw all kinds of foods.
The neighborhood right by the hotel is a little rough around the edges. There was a lot of drug activity, but the hotel itself was safe and clean. There were plenty of sheets, towels and the door is locked at 11 when staff is not there.
Comfy beds too, we had a queen and our 13 year old enjoyed the Murphy bed, which was also very comfy. Would recommend this hotel if in the area, and would definetly stay again. Having a kitchenette was nice for savings too, and there is an IGA grocery 2 blocks away. They supply cooking utensils, very convenient.

Reasonable price, good location midway betweencThe Vilage and Vieux Montréal. Not expensive by Montréal standards. Room comfortable and clean. Actually a suite with kitchenette which could accommodate 2 couples, having a fold down bed in the living room. Bed comfortable, bath/shower adequate. Plumbing and aircon incredibly Noisy however and à lot of traffic noise even with windows tightly shut. Breakfast plentiful but cheap quality.

What a great hotel! Was like a super cute apartment, included Utensils & dishes in the kitchen with 2 bedrooms & a living room.
Bathroom is a bit small & breakfast was really limited only cold items & the same options every day.

This is a small hotel located near Montreal's port and the city center. It offers a convenient location within walking distance to downtown, Rue de Saint Catharine, and Quebec University, allowing easy access to the city's top attractions. One of the best parts is the cost-saving opportunity when arriving from the airport. Instead of taking a taxi or Uber, simply hop on the bus 747 from the terminal. In just about 30 minutes (which is not much longer than an Uber ride), you can reach the hotel's entrance at a fraction of the cost. The staff at Le Roberval is incredibly friendly and helpful, making your stay even more enjoyable.

While the hotel may not have the luxurious amenities found in more expensive establishments, it is well-maintained, clean, and provides everything you need. The facilities may not be fancy or glamorous, but they are certainly satisfactory. The breakfast offered is basic but satisfying. In conclusion, if you're looking to explore Montreal on a budget, Le Roberval should definitely be on your shortlist.

This was an excellent location--short walk to many areas of Montreal including Old Town and Chinatown. Clean rooms, great breakfast, helpful staff, parking available. We had an apartment style with two bedrooms, kitchen, living room, dining area and bath. Would stay here again.

Incomparable in Montreal. Conveniently located 250m from metro 1 & 2 Berri UQAM, IGA supermarket and Complex Desjardins, 8 bus stops including 747 to YUL airport. 2-room apartments with kitchen in living room, equipped with large fridge, microwave oven, electric stove with oven, coffee maker and kettle, dishes. Retractable king size bed in living room. WiFi and cable TV.
Complimentary hearty breakfast served in the basement. Access via ramp on rue de Berri and stairs on bd R. Levesque. The best choice (rate & comfort) in Montreal and suburb. You won't regret your choice.

1 star. Nowhere in the invoice or policy I received was I told I would be charged an extra $250. When I showed the clerk that I was not informed and he admitted I was not informed, he said if I got the money back I could not stay here. budget for my trip ruined.

Employees in the reception room were very friendly. The room was OK, clean and what we expected. There were a few issues to correct. The second day the room was not cleaned and the bed was not done. There was an old delivery of food in the fridge. The date of the delivery was over 3 months old. I guess somebody forgot to use it. The location was OK going to the old of Montral but going for a walk of St. Catherine Rue was a little bit worrysome. Obviously we didn't know it was the red district.
In general we enjoyed Montreal, we love the city even with rain.

Large room, kitchenette, area view, comfy bed, easy walk to historic area, St Catherine St, the bus station. So great having a reception where you can ask questions, get a taxi called. And lovely starting the day with a breakfast. We loved our stay here.

If not using an airport car rental or taxi, any other way to get your hotel, and back?
Montreal, Canada
Hi CaribbeanDreamin07, You can also take the 747 bus line service. It runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, between the Montréal-Trudeau airport and the Gare d’autocars de Montréal terminal (Berri-UQAM métro station). We are 5 min walking distance from the terminal. The fare is $10 for unlimited travel throughout STM bus and métro networks during 24 consecutive hours. Do not hesitate for further assistance
