Can’t get enough of this place! I’m there by myself or with a friend at least once or twice a week. Everything on the menu is delicious and it’s a challenge not to over order (portions are generous). Sourdough cinnamon toast is perfection. Indiana sweet corn cakes are a treat. The tomato soup is the best. Weekends can be crazy busy, so I try to go during the week.

An easy downtown brunch winner, amazing staff that was very quick to set our big group up for a table seating seven, Connor turned up to take care of us and made sure we were doing well the entire time. Excellent server! No surprise this place holds up to all discerning diet needs, plenty to treat all sorts, the menu is huge! I noticed it slightly odd the prices were tad high for the size and calories brought out yet no free options to customize; charger two to three dollars for each little ingredient add on seems quite fierce on the wallet. And why the rabbit food added as a forced default to every dish? I personally enjoyed the arugula with everything, wasn't going to fault, but the odd outcry from the other adults at the table changed up my own opinions. I should be no problem to throw down some fruit slices, oatmeal, anything to avoid throwing away fancy grass. Maybe we could have swapped the greens for better but the menu nor Connor mentioned other options, sad to see so many quick to toss executive lettuce. My Cuban breakfast, avocado, egg, black beans, rice, white cheddar, sour cream, and spinach-jalapeño pesto struck all the right chords. I love a good morning mess with all the quality proteins, southern flavors, and variety of textures. Others were plenty happy with their dishes, minus the cow food, big winners being the burger and cinnamon sugar sourdough toast, overall this seems to slide right under The Garden Table for my favorite capital brunch bases.

There are so many big chain restaurants downtown Indy that it is nice to find a small local place ( think they have 3 locations )- it is not deep fried food, bar fare , pizza or ribs- instead it is wholesome food . Nice menu, pretty decor. We sat at the bar and got very quick service. Lots of salads, soups and omelette selections that change daily. Good prices for a city.

If you are seeking an overpriced simply okay dining experience, this might be the one for you. If you are seeking to leave a dining experience feeling you got your money's worth, you might want to think again. This was partially my fault. I'll admit that I had forgotten how expensive the place is but my daughters talked me into to giving it a try. The service was decent enough. But, would I come there again? Probably not. With my order, I left the place wondering why an omelette that was a bit watery in the middle and a shade of yellow that suggested something other than real eggs were used was worth nearly $15.00. The salad garnish was what might have been garnish elsewhere with no dressing. And what was simply the side toast on my plate was the nearly $6.00 cinnamon toast purchased for one of my two daughters. This may be partially because I am a decent cook but my biggest impression was that I will likely never waste my money here again as the food was subpar and served with an almost couldn't be bothered attitude. In the spirit of Easter, the tip was doubled with a note that perhaps the waitress might buy a box of chocolates to cheer up her day. My biggest point is that if you don't might trendy food that is not worth the dollar for bite, this is a quick bite to eat. It is a never again for my family and I.

The food was amazing!! We were looking for a good breakfast before heading out of town and this was the perfect place for that. Their omelettes are awesome and the cinnamon sugar toast tasted great. I was very surprised that the fruit cups have a variety of fruit in them, instead of the usual cantaloupe and honeysuckle and maybe something else. The service was okay. Overall, this restaurant was really good and I would definitely come back

Four of us met for breakfast on a fall Sunday morning and were seated after a short wait. Our orders included a couple of smoked salmon on bagels and a couple of "omelets you can't refuse" with coffee and OJ all around. The outcome - all were fully satisfied and ready to return for another meal - but only when hungry again.

This was our first stop upon visiting the city. I had the Cuban Breakfast and my son had the waffle. His meal was great. Flaky and topped with powdered sugar, I helped him eat half. Not a fan of blueberries but the strawberries were sweet. The best part about my meal was the jalapeño pesto sauce...OMGosh!! They sell it now, so if you like either of these, imagine them together!

Very tasty but kind of pricey as mentioned. We did have to wait about ten minutes for a table. My yogurt, granola fruit bowl was good (could have used more granola) and my sourdough toast was yummy. My husband and son liked theirs too. I’m not a fan of room temperature water, but that’s what they give you. I would come back.

Everything was more than expected, from the staff to the menu and the atmosphere! I had the best “tomato artichoke soup” you could possibly hope for and chicken salad was better because of the sourdough bread. My wife’s vegetable pancake was unusual and enjoyable. If your passing through Indy or if you live here and haven’t been here take the time to come here you will be happy you did

Came here in the morning before a conference and was immediately seated at the counter. Drip coffee is self serve and I had the yogurt granola and fruit which was fresh and tasty accompanied by a croissant and jam - which was also fresh and delicious. Prices are a bit high, $28 with tip.

To be honest this was our second choice for lunch but we quickly became glad our first choice didn't work out. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was really good. My son said the fries were the best fries ever. They are hand cut and cooked to perfection. My wife had an egg salad sandwich that she also said it was the best thing she ate while we were in the area. Overall everyone was happy and full when we left, so that is what mattered.

Totally lived up to every expectation. Loved the waffle. Perfect thin crispy bacon. Quality all around. Perfect attention to quality and presentation. Flavored teas without loads of sugar.

Super good and comfortable! I want for a meeting at 8:30am on a Monday. More people started arriving about 9am, but they did a good job social distancing groups. My food was good. The service was phenomenal. I enjoy that the different flavors of coffee they have. It was clean. So I enjoyed it all around.

Treat your tummy with something yummy 😋 This café situated in the downtown of Indy just across the street from Indiana State House which makes it a main stop-n-go hub for the worjers and visitors of the governmental & commercial district. With this great location, you'll find a cheery environment as well. I have been to this location many times plus another visit to another location north of the city just to compare the food & service before I write my review. Well ! Let me put it this wsy ! Anyone in the neighbourhood definitively must visit and try their wide collection from breakfast, brunch snd luch plates. Here's exactly where you shoot for upscale food and service. The menu includes many of healthy options for the vegetarian and vegan fellows. You should try their french toast w/cinnamon, the tomato artichoke soup, the smoked salmon bagel or the Cuban breakfast . The Omelettes are perfect, besides the waffles are fluffy and delicious. Here's the conclusion of my review: This place is you pay for what you get and I definitively never left there disappointed. Every time I visit this café, before I step my feet out I start thinking about my next visit. I will definitively come back again and again. To me, it’s really a great place for breakfast!

The place was extremely busy when I stopped. I ordered a turkey club on sourdough toast, then headed out to the south of the building where there is an open area with benches and tables to eat at. The sandwich was excellent, the service was quick and great. and sitting in the sun to eat was all the better.
