Great location for the marathon. Nice and clean. We received a smaller room than reserved but they made it whole after the fact. The front desk was friendly but not real knowledgeable for such a big weekend. breakfast selection was ok not great.

The Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 105 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, Indiana is a very central location hotel. And a great stay this past weekend!
The Hampton Inn is just across the street from the Hard Rock Cafe, around the corner from Champps, PF Chang's, St Elmo Steak House, Howl at the Moon, the new hot spot Punch Bowl Social, and also just around the corner from Bankers Life Fieldhouse and two blocks from the Indiana Convention Center.
The location really can't be beat. The staff too was excellent. Jake upon our arrival was a super nice guy. Very helpful and incredibly friendly. Shana and Sara too at Check In were incredibly nice, helpful with the area, and accommodated all of our needs at the front desk.
The room was really spacious considering what you pay. Any 4-star or 5-star would charge you around $800 or $900 for this kind of space. Granted this is no 4-star or 5-start property, but what you receive for what you pay is pretty impressive.
We'll be back to the Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown at 105 S Meridian St, Indianapolis, Indiana if ever back in Indianapolis! Such a great group of team members, and really a bargain for the offering!

We returned to this hotel because the first stay was great and we liked the location. The room was average and we had to ask for several items to be refilled on the breakfast bar. Overall the experience was good.

I will definitely use your feedback to better train our breakfast staff to be more proactive about keeping food readily available to our guests. I showed up a day earlier and they were able to get me into a room that they made sure I was able to stay in for the entire trip so that I didn’t have to move all our stuff to the previously reserved room. We were able to use the 2nd floor dining area to have a celebration one night that was so great! All the staff was so friendly and made great recommendations to a mall trip. Excellent valet service from Keiron and Dwayne who had my car ready in minutes when I needed it. The breakfast was awesome. Excellent stay.

I don't have any specific measurements. I travel frequently, and the room (standard room with one king bed) that I was given at this property seemed larger than usual. It had a sofabed (we didn't pull it out because there were only two people in our party) and there was ample room to walk around as well.
I'm certain the hotel can provide you with actual square footage, but I've found that's not really helpful unless you can see the layout of the room. I can tell you that I could have easily had two or three kids in there with us and we still would have had sufficient room.
