The Hampton Inn Indianapolis Downtown Across from Circle Centre hotel is located in the heart of downtown Indianapolis, Indiana in the historic Chesapeake Building, which was constructed in 1929 as headquarters for the Big Four Railroad. Directly across from Circle Centre Mall, our Indianapolis hotel is within walking distance to over 30 downtown restaurants, Gainbridge Field House and Lucas Oil Stadium, home of the Indianapolis Colts and the Indiana Convention Center. Other area attractions include historical landmarks, museums, ice skating, medical centers, auto racing and the Indianapolis Museum of Art, which features a 152-acre park and botanical garden. This is the second time I have stayed here for work and I had a pleasant experience both times. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to shops and many restaurant options. It is an older hotel but is well maintained and is very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and Brandon the valet was very pleasant and was always on time when providing my vehicle in the morning.

Traveling for business I recently had a very bad stay at a Hampton Inn at the Kansas City airport follow directly by a subpar stay at a Hampton Inn at the Louisville airport, followed immediately by a two night stay in downtown Indianapolis at this property and just arriving and walking in and being greeted and chatting with Desi and Angie at the front desk the feeling in vie was instantly different from my past to negative experiences. I was then greeted with my diamond status and thanked and offered a diamond upgrade and my overall experience in this wonderful property in my beautifully spacious room helped with the assistance of Desi and Angie really reaffirmed my faith in the Hampton brand after two negative notes. Thank you so much Team. I’ll be back with you soon.

The staff were so lovely and very helpful. The hotel was beautiful in an historic building. Excellent location downtown. The generous breakfast set you up for the day. The hotel has a full laundry and fitness centre. Guests are encouraged to use the comfortable public areas

My husband and I stayed here for a couples night out and we had excellent service. All staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way for us. Hailee at the front desk was so sweet and kind and Kay who served breakfast was one of the nicest people ever! This was a great experience for us.

This hotel is far below Hampton/Hilton standards. As soon as I checked in I found a pill laying on the floor. I took it to front desk and informed them of this and ask if my room had even been cleaned. No offer to move rooms or have a cleaning person come and clean room. Next morning there was NO hot breakfast . Apparently there had been a recent kitchen fire, no mention of this at check in or on their website. At check out I informed clerk I was not pleased. She informed me she would put Hilton points in my account to make up for the poor stay. Three weeks later no points. Last week I spoke to Andrew who said he was a manager and he would call back by end of day. It never happened! I left a message for the GM no call back. I travel to this area often and thought I would give them a try but they obviously do not care about their guest.

We booked the Hampton Downtown Indy two weeks ago for a weekend getaway. The entire staff has been courteous and helpful. We were accommodated with our choice of room and enjoyed a king sized room which was spacious. We stayed three nights and used housekeeping when needed. The daily hot breakfast, prepared by America and served by Kay was superb. We had a wide selection of tasty food and drink and the demeanor of Kay topped it off. She greeted each person with a friendly good morning and was quick to help or restock items as needed. The dining area is spacious and we appreciated the nature channel on tv too. We were close to many historic sites and walked everywhere. Great visit!

This is the second time we stayed at the Hampton downtown. Both stay were great and location even better. The rooms were clean and comfortable and breakfast was decent. The only real issue was getting valet parking in a timely fashion.. maybe more staffing on weekends would help

Checked in on friday afternoon and was greeted by Ross, the Valet. He did an excellent job with service and professional courtesy. Helped me with all my luggage and my car. He was very thorough with check-in details, answered all my questions and provided VIP level service. He is the kind of valet all hotels should have to set the tone for their guests upon arrival. Front desk staff followed up with same level service to allow me a quick and easy path to my room. Quite refreshing to receive great service from well trained staff who have one goal....to provide an excellent customer experience.

This was the 8th year staying at this Hampton Inn for Race Weekend/Memorial Day Weekend. Once again, clean and well prepared rooms, attentive staff and fantastic location. Easy walk to a variety of restaurants. Although the downtown city’s shopping is quite sparse these days, that’s not why we were here. Food mattered much more!
A special shout-out to Ms Kay, who made sure we had a bountiful breakfast buffet every day. So kind and efficient! Always had a smile and a kind word. We were a group of about 75 and she took such good care of us. A gem!

Valet is $40, (we only stayed overnight) they do help with bags! I typically tip a few bucks when requesting my car. In and out privileges!! Hope that helps!!
Hello Chandler! We wash our duvets daily, so you can always count on fresh linens and a clean worry-free comforter.
Parking was $28 dollars a day. There was self parking in other garages, but I’m not sure of prices. I know the Circle Centre has parking but I’m not sure if you can park their overnight. I believe that price was $10 dollars max. Call tha Hampton and ask if parking is cheaper elsewhere?
Hello: It seems they have two or three lots, one directly beside the hotel, at least one a block away. Both open air, not really secure, just normal outside lots. We had no problems. Fees were probably $27/28.00 per day , a bit steep. Hope this helps. John
