Located on Placa Urquinaona, in the heart of Barcelona, the H10 Urquinaona Plaza is a newly built hotel housed within a nineteenth century building that maintains some of its original structure and beautifully crafted ceilings, which have been combined with a very contemporary interior design that uses clean lines and simple colours. We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. We haven’t got any negatives only positives: Tastefully modern, extremely comfortable bed and pillows, air condition with great flow and timings, no noise levels even though we were facing the main road. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. It was my birthday while I was there and they left a little card and chocolates. Breakfast was organised well, good selection and taste, again the dining staff we’re so pleasant and couldn’t do enough for you. I will definitely return but next time with our grandson. The location was perfect for the gothic quarter, outside food market, shopping, la rambla, bars & restaurants and the Sagrada Familia. We also walked to Parc Guell but it did take an hour which we didn’t mind.

This is a great hotel in a great location. You can get a bus from the airport to Plaça de Catalunya which is only a 4 minute walk away. The staff were amazing from start to finish! We stayed both nights and breakfast had different options on both mornings. We had a balcony room on the 2nd floor, the room was modern and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Excellent boutique hotel chain in the heart of Barcelona. The staff provided an exceptional check-in experience while we waited for our room. The atmosphere of the entire hotel is perfectly designed. The breakfast buffet is currently €15 and worth every penny (and more). Our 6th floor balcony area was well worth the upgrade, everything inside and outside was exceptionally clean.

The hotel is spotless, stunning and a great central location. The rooms and hotel was lovely and clean, the staff so friendly and helpful and a nice and quiet place to stay. The breakfast buffet was always stocked and lots of choice, and the fact that it’s 20 seconds from the Metro stop outside was 10/10

Decent hotel in a great location , a short walk from a lot of the attractions. Room was a little noisy as I was next to a cupboard used by cleaners and steps up to a room above I think, even at nighttime. Small but clean room. Would have preferred a kettle to a Nespresso machine as couldn’t work it when I put the coffee capsules in. Luckily I brought my own.
Hotel claims to be sustainable etc but as with most Spanish hotels and buildings the heating was set to 33c in most of the hotel and about 25c where you are breakfast, which was unnecessary. Would have been nice to be offered a map on arrival. TV only showed Spanish channels, no international English speaking ones which is unusual in a foreign hotel.

We had a very pleasant stay. The location is excellent within walking distance of the main attractions. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with freshly prepared dishes and a great selection. The rooms were nice and comfortable, we also had a nice balcony. We were very impressed with the overall customer service and friendly staff. In particular, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to Ruben at the front desk who helped us obtain tickets to the Palau de la Musica for an opera show and made a suggestion and dinner reservation to a restaurant we greatly enjoyed. Overall, we were very pleased with everything.

Great hotel , ideal placement for all amenities, this is the first time I have visited. Barcelona and I will not be the last and will be coming back here , the hotel was outstanding and the staff where excellent with nothing to much to help , the hotel has a great interior and fab roof top bar and small pool area which could do with staying open slightly later to keep your clients in the mood after a long day of this fab city , I understand the downstairs bar remains open till later , but there was never anybody who seem to use it as it’s a great outside area as well with the living wall and plates area , which was again pleasant . But I cannot knock any points as the only two things which I was not happy with is , I do not like bedrooms with the wash basin in there as I do believe it should be enclosed of a bathroom , but you cannot change that !
But the only point which was a a bad experience , is the payment method which your reception man said you had been having a problem with certain banks holding the card details , which in this case was the Halifax bank and Barclays , which he apologised and said we had to hold the deposit of 50 euros , which we had only had a small of cash as most people only use cards for safety , but hopefully a blip on your group policies .

Had room facing the plaza. Location is fabulous can walk everywhere if you like walking or directly opposite metro. Found all the hotel staff very friendly polite and courteous. The hotel was decorated beautifully including the garden area. We used the roof top bar as just opened and found prices reasonable. Rooms very clean and comfortable beds. Didn’t find basin in room area a problem. Didn’t like the towel rail placed over the WC area. Perhaps the room would benefit from hooks placed elsewhere and coat hook in bedroom area. Due to our flight times, arrived early and left late, would be beneficial if courtesy area rather than changing in WC’s. Overall a great stay.

Writing this review even though I am not due to stay here until late june 24. To explain, myself and 4 friends are going on a cruise, departing Barcelona, celebrating our respective 60th birthdays. We will be staying at this hotel prior to going on cruise. Our issues were arriving way to early before check in and when coming back from cruise, disembarking early, with luggage, and spending all day in Barcelona before flying back to Scotland later that night. After emailing hotel and liasing with James E, front Desk Team Guest service, can I say he has made 5 ladies very relieved and very happy. We have been offered use of hotel facilities when we come back and storage of luggage till we depart back home. If this is the customer service before we even arrive, I cannot wait till we get to the hotel, even though we are only staying 1 night. I would certainly stay at this hotel again in the future if in Barcelona again. And a special big thank you to James

While the bedding could benefit to be of higher quality, the rooms were clean albeit sparse. However, I cannot compliment the staff enough— from the front desk to the breakfast room, all the staff members were extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive. In particular, our family must give special recognition to Ruben at the front desk. He not only gave very helpful recommendations when we planned a day trip to Sitges, he also went out of his way to inform us which train to take and what station to go to. Additionally, on the day of our departure Ruben was instrumental in helping our family order several taxis to get us to the airport on time once we discovered that our transport van was not coming on time. We cannot thank Ruben enough and would give him 10/10 stars if possible.

Family rooms will comfortably accommodate 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Rooms feel spacious and do offer a smidge of privacy.
Our room had a fridge and a coffee machine. We did not occupy the room class you want to book.
