We booked expecting to share the experience with others but we were the only couple - but that didn’t matter; indeed, it was like having our own personal chef!!
Rudi was the perfect host, greeting us with a warm welcome and glass of cava. Each course was explained and the food was delicious, well presented and perfectly proportioned so that you ate everything and had sufficient without ever feeling overfull.
I am sure the 9 course menu varies depending on availability of ingredients and time of year so will definitely return. Well worth the money (which was not overly expensive at all) - stop reading the reviews and get yourself booked in, you won’t be disappointed!!

We booked a dinner with Rudi while in Barcelona for vacation. We enjoy exploring the local food offerings and Rudi's was the best of our travels in Spain. Eat-With is usually an interesting experience and the food and company during this visit was fantastic. We enjoyed a phenomenally prepared eight course presentation of microgastric delights...all were delicious and showed a wonderful grasp of cooking magic. Our group consisted of people from Germany, Austria, UK and America. Wine was well chosenand plentiful. It was an amazing night and an unbelievable value. His storefront is tucked in the interior courtyard of a small shopping mall.

I was skeptical when my travel companion booked a private chef instead of a MIchelin restaurant but I was truly amazed and impressed by the food, the plating, the wines, and the creativity of each course - all served in a simple setting. Rudi is a genius -- and so peresonable and humble. Make dinner with Rudi a priority in your travel plans.

We visited Rudi as a family during our Barcelona trip and had an unforgettable evening. We were received in a very friendly and open manner, so that we felt right at home and there was a family atmosphere. You can see how passionately Rudi devotes himself to food and you can taste it. Every single course was an experience in its own right. The great company made the evening just perfect. We can only recommend everyone not to miss this high-class menu in a private atmosphere. We are enthusiastic about Rudi and will remember this evening as one of the most beautiful events in Barcelona. That evening we enjoyed a great meal with strangers. These strangers have now become friends and we still keep in touch.

Rudi is a wonderful chef, who prepares food with lots of attention and makes sure that the food is not only beautiful but also incredibly tasty. Food and atmosphere was amazing. Will definitely return when back in Barcelona :)

This was my second time dining with Rudi. The first time was a few years ago and was incredible. Hard to believe but this time was even better. You are in a private dining room. You can watch Rudi as he prepares each course, then he serves and explains what you are having with each presentation. There are wine and beer pairings based on your taste. There were nine courses and each one was a symphony that affected your senses - visually, aroma, and taste. Each course was unique and truely perfect. This might have been the best meal I have ever eaten. And quite honestly it was worth twice as much as we paid. If I could give it ten stars I would. Look forward to returning to Barcelona and having the opportunity to “Eatwith” Rudi again.

After being in Barcelona for a week this was the perfect ending to our trip. The food was delicious and his presentation was delightful. When I made the reservation for 10 I didn't realize that one person was gluten free--fortunately 7 of the 9 dishes were already gluten free but he provided a gluten free alternative. She said it was fantastic! He was entertaining and helpful. Totally recommend!

Rudi offered 10 or 11 small plate courses. Each one was beautifully prepared and very good. He even took care of my gluten free requirements. The ten people on our night were fun, gracious and a good time. We did not know what to expect and were blown away. You must go. Just do not plan on getting home early!

We ate here in 2018 and it was fantastic, met a lot of wonderful people from all over the world. Chef Rudi and his wife did an excellent job with the food and the service, wine glasses always full. Highly recommend.

Dinner with Rudi was the highlight of our recent trip to Catalonia - not only is Rudi a great chef, but he also brings a fantastic energy to a dinner my wife and I won't forget. The courses were amazing, delicious, and creative. The food was locally sourced and paired perfectly with his choices of either wine or beer (my wife went with the wine and I opted for the beer). Rudi was very attentive and the food was on par or better than Michelin-starred restaurants we have been to. We will make it a point to dine with Rudi again when we come back to BCN!

This was an amazing experience. The skill and imagination Chef Rudi put into each dish was obvious. The fit was visually stunning as well as delicious. Some of our fellow diners were almost an hour late, but Chef Rrudi kept us company telling us about himself and pouring us sparkling wine. Our diner mates turned out to be charming if not punctual, and we enjoyed their company.

Our meal with Rudi was fantastic. Rudi's food combinations were well conceived and delivered balanced flavors that made the palate sing. From the first course to the last every aspect of our meal was meticulously prepared and delicious. Being able to socialize with others from different countries and backgrounds was a bonus. We recommend Rudi's to anyone looking for a fantastic meal.

Absolutely amazing experience; one of the highlights of my three week trip to Spain. Rudi is a fantastic host and amazing chef. The courses were delicious and he offered at least four different wines and four beers to choose from! Definitely worth what I paid; the experience was from 8:30-12:30 and I think there were 9 courses total. Highly recommend!

What an incredible, unique night out
Rudi is the perfect host and made our family group (parents + children aged 15-23) feel incredibly welcome. Don't be worried about the idea of nine courses - most of them are bite size and everyone left full but not too much
The best review would be from our children - the best meal they have ever eaten! Highly recommended

Rudi is a talented chef with a wonderful imagination and personality. The meal was beautiful beside being the most tasty ever. Rudi provided wine and beer pairing with each course. He stayed with us and told stories and explained each of the nine courses. Each course was generous. A person with a big appetite would get enough to eat. He paid special attention to dietary restrictions, both health and religious. This is one of my most memorable meals ever and I am a foodie. I just wish I could go to Barcelona again, just to eat with Rudi.
