Located on Placa Urquinaona, in the heart of Barcelona, the H10 Urquinaona Plaza is a newly built hotel housed within a nineteenth century building that maintains some of its original structure and beautifully crafted ceilings, which have been combined with a very contemporary interior design that uses clean lines and simple colours. The hotel features the Novecento Restaurant, bar, gym and Chill-Out Terrace with plunge pool and outstanding views over the city. It also has 3 meeting rooms that are perfect for small company events.

Step out of the hustle and bustle of central Barcelona into a calming sanctuary. This hotel has it all, a jaw-dropping atrium space, clean, spacious rooms, delicious breakfasts and a small yet perfectly formed sun terrace with plunge pool. We stayed 5 nights in a deluxe room with a large terrace overlooking the gardens, that was pure peace. It took a little getting used to having the sink in the room but this was a minor distraction from what is otherwise a great hotel for exploring Barcelona. We would 100% recommend staying here.

1st time staying at any H10 hotel and I'm hooked! Lobby was meticulous. I appreciated the extra touches like candy and the glass of champagne upon arrival. We stayed at the sister location (Cubik) after our cruise 10 days later and that was also 1st class. Rooftop lounge was amazing! Killer views and fast and friendly service. I'm hooked on these H10s. Classy and quality are two descriptions that come to mind. I look forward to the next visit.

Hotel is clean, modern and well laid out. The terrace on the roof has a small plunge pool with seating and a bar. We had an inside room which was large enough with enough wardrobe space. Bathroom was large and the aircon worked great. Rooms were well soundproofed. Breakfast was buffet and had plenty of choice. Reception staff friendly. Location was excellent, 2min walk from the main Placa. Plenty of bars, shops, metro nearby.

We had a wonderful stay here. The hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms for a city hotel are spacious. The staff are all so friendly. The free breakfast had good choice. The location of this hotel is just fantastic and it is very reasonably priced for such a good hotel in a brilliant location. We would definitely recommend.

Visited the hotel pre-cruise to France and Italy. Good location near center of Barcelona. Very good receivel at the front desk with a cool glass of Cava. Asked for a quiet room and got one on the 4th Floor. Double windows so pretty soundproof. Some features in the hotel need to be replaced to keep the good **** standard. Breakfast indoors is nice. Very small swimming pool on the roofterrace with small bar and sitting area. Room is bright and rather big. Rain shower is nice but its water floats info the bathroom… one small negative: noice of the underground during the day… but! we will return when visiting Barcelona in the future!

Had a wonderful stay in Barcelona at the h10. From the moment we arrived the staff were helpful and attentive. Room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. Bed was comfortable and there is a pillow menu if you have specific requirements. Temp control in room was best ever had in a hotel room. Hotel itself is lovely, perfectly located for all Barcelonas sites and definitely one I would return to. Wide choice of food for breakfast and each day slightly different. Definitely would not disappoint for anyone wanting to explore this fabulous city.

Excellent location for sightseeing and shopping. Helpful reception staff assisted with some ticketing issues! Friendly and efficient breakfast and roof top bar staff! Good selection for breakfast.
Bedrooms are small but clean! Liked having both coffee machine and kettle!
Will stay there again.

What a lovely hotel.On arrival was presented with a drink choice very welcoming after the flight and transfer.Booked a triple room and was very clean with plenty of room. The shower was good and house keeping fantastic & clean towels daily. Air con was good and so quiet didn’t even notice it was on.Fridge was filled with items you can purchase but you got complimentary water that was replaced daily.Breakfast plenty of hot /cold choices, orange juice was nice not powdered like many hotels.All staff were outstanding and hardworking & welcoming.Rooftop bar was good a lovely breeze on a hot day.The lift will not work if you enter without you room key .. you have to scan it to go up but not down….must be for security to stop anyone going up to rooms obviously good idea but not if you forget your key.

Fantastic hotel. We stayed here for 3 nights in a terrace room. The room was beautiful, very clean with a small outdoor terrace. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were helpful and friendly. The location is opposite a metro station and easy walking distance to many sights. Breakfast was lovely. Honestly I could not fault it.

Stayed 1 night and I paid about 240 Euros for a superior room with terrace on a Saturday. I found the price was too much for that room.
The bathroom was rather small and the sink was even in the room which was really unusual and uncomfortable for me. Didn’t like it.
The double bed was ok for the comfort but not the best.
The terrace/big balcony was nice and large with a sofa and 2 chairs.
Staff at front desk are nice, but at breakfast were quite distant and unfriendly. Food choice at breakfast was ok to good. Quality also same level.
The location is good around the corner of Plaça Catalunya. Easy to reach.
Overall, an average to good experience in my opinion and compared to similar hotel category and prices. Even as a member of H10 club
