This hotel is perfect for couples or friends wanting a relaxing city break. It is easy to access the main sights either on foot or by public transport. We walked or cycled everywhere in the city and had a great time. The superior room was great for us not huge but ok for a short stay and the balcony was good. The staff were brilliant especially the Italian bar man who made the best gin and tonics! We didn't have breakfast as like to explore local places to eat. It is not from Santa Caterinas market where you can get a great breakfast. We ate at a cafe there and had Spanish omelette with tomato bread, ham sandwich, 2 coffees which came to 7 euros for us both. There is a small terrace to sunbathe on which is nice and a plunge pool to cool off in or shower. All in all a very lovely stay and would recommend.

We stayed at Urquinaona Plaza two years in a row, both for one night - business/pleasure. Both times we have had seamless experiences, very accommodating staff, clean comfortable rooms, and yes, the glass of bubbly on arrival. They held our bags on departure day; I used their business center briefly; SOLID mid-range hotel. Also, we had three travelers in one room - a nice little sofa-bed was very comfy as the extra. The value is there.
Two small criticisms: One, there is no parking. (But do you really want to drive in the heart of Barcelona??) Two, the breakfast is pricey; go out the door to the left and have breakfast at Petit Pot Cafe Bistro. Super, for less.
But still an excellent rating for this hotel!

Brilliant location, central to exploring the Gothic area and very close to the meeting points for tours and buses - very busy road but quiet in the hotel with roof top terrace and ground floor garden, Breakfast available and adequate though value for money we chose to have croissant and coffee at the local "coffee and bread cafe" across the street. Staff very attentive, rooms excellent and clean. Wi-fi available all over Barcelona. We booked the transfer bus which took around 30 mins to hotel - very prompt and efficient,

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at H10 Urquinaona and on my check in I was lucky to have been welcomed by a nice young lady as she gave me a free upgrade to a wonderful room with an excellent view. The hotel is in a great location just walking distance to all the sites. I did not have breakfast, so I can’t say anything about it, but there are plenty of nice cafe’s nearby for breakfast.

The hotel lived up to all the reviews. Super location, walking distance to everywhere. Hotel very stylish, spotless, bright and airy, lovely roof top terrace with bar and plunge pool. 3 of us stayed for weekend, 2 in double bed and 1 in pull out sofa bed which was perfectly fine. Rituals toiletries in bathroom which was a lovely touch plus complementary bottle of cava as it was one of our birthdays. Porter staff not the friendliest but only a small gripe. Would definitely stay again and recommend. We didn't eat in hotel but fab cafe just next door that does gorgeous brunch. I have high standards at the best of times from working in hotels for years, and this definitely lived up to my expectations.
