We stayed at the above hotel for 4 days. The staff were friendly and helpful ,our room was clean ,the storage was minimal for us as we take sufficient clothes to cover all eventualities. We had a balcony with garden view which was a lot quieter than those facing the street. The breakfast was good value. The hotel is well situated ( approx 300 mtrs from plaza Catalunya) and Las Ramblas(400 Mtrs)

THE hotel is located close by the famous Ramblas. It is a modern hotel. We had a room with terras. It was oke but the rooms are small.
All personel are very nice and assist when necessary.
Breakfast is good, afternoon drinks are oke, only the location does not any warmth

This H10 was convenient and large. The foyer was pretty impressive, and all the public areas like the gardens and rooftop were stylish & well planned. Breakfast was a good selection including cava for your OJ, and the bowls of sweets scattered around were welcome! My room was really small, although quiet and the bed was super comfy. Some small attention to detail things were lacking though: the only place to put my suitcase was the floor, and the shower leaked. The disabled toilet on the ground floor had a broken lock, locking me &, later others, in. When we mentioned it, the reception staff knew but said that only mothers changing babies should go in! There was no sign on the door & it wasn't fixed until later on the next day. If they'd sorted these things, then it would be 5 stars.

After tireless research on Barcelona hotels we stumbled across the H10 Urquinaona Plaza hotel on Voyage Prive, and received a great deal with breakfast and a free bottle of cava. Even without these perks the hotel was still spot on, from the fantastic location right by Placa Catalunya and a sort stroll from Baria Gothic, to the cool interior and roof top terrace.

We had a double room with a small terrace which was nice to sit out on after a long days sight seeing, but we also enjoyed a cocktail or 2 on the roof terrace (although we didn't brave the plunge pool).

I would definitely recommend the hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here as a couple for a week and we loved it.
We would definitely book it again.
Without requesting it, they gave us the top floor room. (there are only 2 rooms on the top floor)
The other room, luckily for us, remained empty throughout our whole stay, which meant we had the terrace all to ourselves and within 2 seconds of leaving the room. We even had a romantic champagne and take away pizza night in, on the terrace all to ourselves. (yes - they were completely fine with us ordering take away pizza to our room)

Our room was big and inviting. Great decor and very comfortable. We even had a second bathroom (the top floor provided a terrace and a public - although we only used it - bathroom.)
The only two things are:
1) the room view was of the inside hotel reception area and room corridors. However because we could easily walk to the terrace that wasn't an issue for us.
2)the room stank of sewage. This wasn't the hotel's fault, but it was due to the lack of rain, and the heat, which caused the pipes to overheat and it causes this throughout the city. I notified the reception, and they told me it was expected, however they offered to change our room if we were not happy. (we remained in the same room.)

Staff were delightful.
Excellent Location!
Perfect city hotel.

Hi, I didnt like the bathroom set up. In the bathroom there is a shower and a toilet. When you are sat on the loo you are looking at a glass door with a frosted middle section and thats it. There is no lock on the door either if I recall. The sink is in the bedroom. Its totally impractical. Outside the bathroom, the floors are laminated wood and the floor gets wet everytime you wash. Not to mention that I get up earlier than my husband and kept disturbing him just getting ready on a morning.

Hi The hotel is a boutique hotel .I really can’t remember the size , but I think it will definitely be small for 4. If you join their reward programme before arrival , as we did , we got upgraded as they had availability. It is very centrally located , maybe you can ask them to send u a couple of images of the room. Most of the rooms the bathroom sink is in the room not in the bathroom. Which is a more boutique style. Hope this helps
