Located on Placa Urquinaona, in the heart of Barcelona, the H10 Urquinaona Plaza is a newly built hotel housed within a nineteenth century building that maintains some of its original structure and beautifully crafted ceilings, which have been combined with a very contemporary interior design that uses clean lines and simple colours. The hotel features the Novecento Restaurant, bar, gym and Chill-Out Terrace with plunge pool and outstanding views over the city. It also has 3 meeting rooms that are perfect for small company events.
Star ratings are intended to indicate the general level of features, amenities, and services to expect. This property is classified according to Giata.
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
We opted for the Jacuzzi suite, so situated on the top level our room was bright open, and had good use of space. Water was provided daily and the only problem we had was the jacuzzi was cold. (55 and cloudy outside) once we called it in the maintenance person was there like immediately after we hung up (crazy fast service) and we had a nice warm jacuzzi in one hour. The deck had a faint view far away of the sagrada familia, and the staff was just superb. Helpful and kind, we would recommend anyone basing in Barcelona to stay here. Walk to the gothic quarter, walk to las ramblas, quick metro to sagrada familia and near shopping. Wouldn’t change a thing!

Arrived back home yesterday after a 4 night break in Barcelona with my husband. The trip was for our 40th wedding anniversary and on booking didnt realise just how perfect this hotel would be for us . The location is ideal for exploring the city as a lot of the main attractions are within walking distance and if you want to use public transport there are bus stops and a metro station right outside the front door . The hotel is lovely inside and is well maintained with a bar which has a courtyard outside which is a very relaxing area to sit in and surprisingly quiet as the hotel is on a busy square , there is also a rooftop terrace with a plunge pool with sunloungers and another bar .The restaurant is clean and bright and the breakfast is buffet style with plenty to choose from and friendly helpful staff . Our room was overlooking the square but had great soundproofing so traffic noise was not a problem and the facillities were spot on (large comfy bed , bathobe and slippers , coffee machine with complimentary pods and also a bootle of water per guest provided daily ) , even the toiletries provided are a quality brand could'nt fault it . We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely come back to this hotel and recommend it to anyone visiting Barcelona .

I went to this hotel for a 3 night city break with my daughter. The staff were so friendly (all friendly but a particular mention to the man on reception and the barman - didn’t get their names unfortunately) and the hotel was perfect. I really couldn’t fault it at all. The choice of breakfast food was excellent and hot food perfectly cooked. Nothing was too much trouble and although only a coffee machine in the room, a kettle can be supplied if requested. The beds were extremely comfortable- memory foam I think so a little warm but fine for us this time as only 13 C outside. The hotel decoration is very tastefully done and the hotel is in a perfect location, across the road from the Urquinaona metro station. Easy to walk lots of places also from the hotel - just down the road from Plaza Catalunya, near lots of bars, restaurants and shops. I would 100% recommend this hotel and would definitely return. Also we arrived a couple of hours before our check in time but our room was ready for us which was really appreciated after an early 4 am start that day.

Have just returned from a few days in Barcelona. We stayed at the H10 Urquinaona Plaza. What an amazing hotel. The location is fantastic, a few mins walk from La Rambla and Catalunya metro station etc. Plenty of cafes and restaurants.
The hotel is very well appointed and is done up to a very high standard, very boutique. The rooms are spacious and well designed.
The highlight of our stay were the staff. We were treated like royalty. When they realised it was my sons birthday, they upgraded us. We later returned to our room and they left him a birthday card, a jar of sweets and some soft juice in an ice bucket; a great touch. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and friendly and we were greeted with huge smiles.
All in all a fantastic place to stay. Highly recommended and we will surely be returning.

This hotel was in a great spot, perfect for tourists and not to far from the Barca FC stadium only a short ride on the metro. Rooms were lovely & clean staff were so nice and helpful. Breakfast was lovely and fresh and with lots of choice, 10/10 would recommend one of the best city breaks.

I have been using a few of the H10s recently as I find them to be well located, exceptional staff, very clean, and little extras are included. This one was no different; they went out of their way to exceed my expectations.
James and I arrived from an early flight and the nice young man at reception explained that unfortunately they were full and could not check us in until later, he took the details and luggage, offered us refreshments and advised he would call us when the room was ready! This was great. We headed out and came back to a room ready and beautifully presented, with water, coffee and amenities.
The rooftop bar was quiet, and had a good choice of snacks and nice drinks looked after by a very attentive waiter. Towels were available, there was a small selection of seats and loungers.
The garden for drinks in the evening was beautiful and a real hidden gem.
Breakfast was super with prosecco and a variety of foods to choose from, we found the baked goods and coffee to be exceptional, the lady who served us was super nice too and thanked us for coming!
I would highly recommend and I would most definitely return to this particular property as the staff were brilliant.
Rooms are small so a Junior suite is a great option here, with its very own little garden, chairs and a hot tub!

What a fantastic gem of a hotel! Location was perfect only a 5 minute walk from the Plaça de catalunya, which is where the airport bus drops you off so really easy and convenient… a few little cafes nearby plus two small supermarkets. The staff were so welcoming and friendly plus a glass of Prosecco on arrival which was lovely, we had a room with a balcony with was a lovely addition. Room facilities good, comfy bed, beautiful rituals toiletries , nespresso machine and mini bar, plus we mentioned that we were celebrating our anniversary and the hotel kindly gifted a bottle of Prosecco in our room which was such a lovely gesture. Breakfast good, lots of choices though sometimes the hot options were a bit tepid, but so many options it didn’t really worry us. Lots of juices, plus mimosas which was a lovely touch and a bit of a treat! A great start to the day!! The rooftop terrace was lovely and so was the garden lobby bar…nice for a peaceful drink in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again and if you are looking for a perfect central location then you must stay here…every where was walkable, la ramblas 10 minutes, the port maybe 20 minutes, and we also took a slow stroll to sagrada familia and that took 30-35 minutes so really perfect. All staff at reception so helpful, helpful with maps and recommendations and buses etc… If you are thinking of booking here don’t hesitate!

We just concluded our stay that this great hotel. The staff is one of the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. They were extremely courteous and attentive to everything. I had such a great time in Barcelona and this hotel, that we extended our stay twice!. I want to personally thank Aiton Martinez, I believe that is his name, who initially check us in. Unfortunately I didn't see him the rest of our stay there, but he left a great first impression for my wife and I which set the stage for the rest of our stay.
When we go back to Barcelona, I will definitely stay here and I will recommended to all my friends and family to definitely stay here.
The room was a city view queen. I thought that the city noise would take away from the hotel and room but to my surprise the rooms were extraordinarily quiet. That is due to the sound proof windows which are great. We slept soundly every night.
We also had the breakfast every morning and its spread of items to eat are that of Spain. Their expresso machine is awesome with a good selection of pods to choose from.
Upon our check out, since it was at 4am and were not able to have breakfast there, they had a to go box for us with juice, water, snacks, and a sandwich. Little things like this are the things that elevate your experience to the next level.

Wow this hotel is awesome! This review is super honest so stay tuned! Overall my mom and I throughly enjoyed this hotel. The hotel is in a PERFECT LOCATION! literally center to everything. The Aerobus stop is only 4 min walk and there’s a metro station right outside the hotel. Honestly though my mom and I walked to pretty much every attraction because it was so close to everything (accept Park Güell of course). All the staff were superb and so helpful. Especially Rosy (I hope I got her name right! It’s short for Rosalina I think!) From the moment we came into the hotel she greeted us, gave us advice of what to do, gave us a map, and informed of us of when to come back to check into our room. She even made a list of restaurants to check out, printed it and gave it to us! Never experienced such awesome help. Way to go! (She deserves a raise!)
As far as the room, very beautiful room! We had a balcony that looked out on the terrace. It was very nice. My only two complaints are: 1. The beds were very hard! My mom and I need softer beds and I think even the average person would agree that the beds were on the rock solid side. And 2. If you’re not smokers like me and my mom, the smoke might bother you having a room with a balcony. A few nights the smoke came into our rooms and it was so strong that we could barely sleep. If you don’t like smoke or have any medical issues I would request a room WITHOUT a balcony to hopefully prevent that discomfort.
Other than those two complaints the room was clean, spacious, modern, and great.
I would stay again if we ever come back to Barcelona, but I would get a room without a balcony lol.

Lovely hotel, staff all brilliant and friendly with hotel areas all clean and well presented. Rooms were as expected, well layed out, amenities all excellent, bed comfortable and clean, slight niggle in that the curtains did not fit the windows so light came in, also some lights loose off walls. Breakfast was excellent also, good choice and good quality, always re filled when needed so no empty trays. All in all an excellent find and happy to stay again on our next trip.
