Room was spectacular. Appointed with a long stone sideboard incorporating the desk, fridge and drawers, with tasteful montages saying sleep and dream. Comfortable beds and pillows. Room temperature was perfect - it has been a long time since I didn't have to fiddle with an overly hot or nippy room. Kudos. Staff were friendly and attentive. Breakfast was included and incorporated most if not all of the usual plus whipped cream and strawberries for your pancakes. Bathroom was equipped with a stone topped vanity with a large sink and waterfall faucet. Hot water was nearly instantaneous. Did not get to try the pool or waterslide but look very promising. A recommended place to stay.

We just finished our 1 night stay at the Home Inn & Suites, and are happy to say that we had a great time. Check in was quick, and they were able to accommodate our request for an early check in at 1 pm so we could get our son down for a nap on arrival. The room was also prepared with our requested playpen, instead of having to ask again after getting to the room (like many other hotels we've been to).
The room was fresh and clean, with ample lighting and lots of counter/desk space. The beds were very comfy, with lots of pillows.
It was busy enough we could only book 2 pool times that worked for us, but it was done efficiently at check in. The pool attendant Garth was very friendly, and a pleasure to chat with in passing and while in the pool. He was engaging with our son, and made the visits to the pool pleasant. The pool area was well kept, and having the hot tub open was a nice surprise (I thought it was still closed). The waterslide was a huge hit with our son.
The only minor downside was breakfast. While still happy to have something included, the options are quite limited and not really enough. There is a choice of a hot breakfast sandwich or a continental. The sandwich did taste good, but is not enough on its own for a filling meal. The continental option was a piece of fruit, a yogurt and a granola bar - it was fine, but you don't get to choose what you get. It is just a little disappointing when trying to feed a growing boy, and a grown man. I understand it's what we get in covid times, and look forward to staying in the future when things are less restricted to see what is offered.
All in all in would definitely stay here again. Well worth the few extra dollars over some of the city's other hotels

The Home Inn and Suites is one of the newer hotels in Swift Current. It is i nice looking hotel near the casino. The room were quite nice, clean and comfortable. There was a small refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. The room rates are a little higher than many of the hotels in Swift Current, but then it is considerably newer than most of them. The location is just north of the TransCanada Highway, but it seemed pretty quiet. There are a number of restaurants and shopping facilities nearby. They served a takeout hot breakfast sandwich for breakfast which was very good. It was a nice place to stay for our last day of a road-trip around Saskatchewan.

We love staying at the Home Inn in Swift Current. The staff are wonderful. Everyone is really friendly, helpful, and attentive. We love that they have a hot breakfast. It’s the standard continental breakfast (eggs, bacon, pancakes, etc.) but they also have some options for gluten free (bread, and cereal). Check-in is always quick and easy. The rooms are always clean and well-stocked (even with real dishes so you can eat off a real plate in the rooms with a kitchen area). The beds are really comfortable and we always get a great sleep. Pretty quiet hotel generally.
We have stayed in a few different room types and really love the Family options that have a separate sleeping space from the main living space. We like being able to put the kids to sleep and then still sit out in the living room and watch tv or talk without waking the kids. They also have lots of room options that include kitchen areas. We stayed in a family room that had a separate sleeping area for the kids, and a kitchen area with a sink, fridge, and microwave.
The pool area is very fun and has a waterslide which can get going pretty fast! We really love spending time in the pool and hot tub there and wish we could spend all day at the pool. Sadly the pool doesn't open until 9 am (unlike my children who wake up at 5 am!) All things considered, we love this spot and we stay every time we drive through Swift Current. Highly recommend.

The reviews of this hotel led me to believe that I would have a comfortable stay and good service. Neither happened. I’ve never had a worse stay in any hotel. The bathroom wasn’t clean and I had to wait until the next day for this to be rectified. Kids were running around screaming into the early hours of the morning. There was only one staff member on the premises and he said he didn’t have any authority to do anything about it. Then, the next two nights were punctuated by a vehicle alarm blaring on and off throughout the day and night. I spoke to a staff member on the morning of the second day and was told they had received a lot of complaints. She said that she would speak to the vehicle owner and make sure it stopped. A different staff member in the afternoon told me that she was unaware of any complaints but would look into it. Twelve hours after I first complained yet another staff member was on duty, again the only one on the premises, and he knew nothing about it. He said he “couldn’t hear anything” and “there’s nothing I can do anyway”. I was woken several times through the night and after three nights without an undisturbed sleep I had had enough.
Apart from not getting any sleep, I am not happy that a hotel of this size keeps only one staff member on duty. The queue at check-in was long and the staff were abrupt and clearly not happy. As a guest I am not interested in hearing how hard it is on them when the hotel is full. If hotel staff have issues with management they should speak to management about it, not their guests. If a guest has a problem the response shouldn’t be “I don’t hear anything”. It should be, “I will look into it” followed by actually doing that. If staff say they will leave a note for housekeeping they should leave that note. Not have guests waiting around for a bathroom to be cleaned that should have been clean when they checked in.
I will never stay in another hotel managed by this company (d3h hotels) nor can I recommend it.

Thank-you for reaching out regarding your experience. I can certainly understand the desire for a peaceful stay. When you spoke with our team on the weekend regarding the noise from other guests we did what we could to rectify the situation when we were able to witness it. During the early evening hours, prior to quiet time, it can be hard to keep the noise level down as people are checking in and moving about the hotel. We did call in security staff to check the hotel later on during the night that we heard from you and our desk staff spot checked for noise after that point. I can appreciate that we may have missed the noise you were encountering during our spot checks and we did compensate you for that night in an effort to make it right. It is unfortunate that you had to hear a car alarm on your subsequent stay as I know that can be frustrating. Our night staff member spent quite a bit of time outside after hearing from you, trying to pinpoint the location of the alarm but wasn’t able to hear it when he was outside. I’m sorry that our efforts in trying to rectify this situation weren’t to your satisfaction. I see that you will be staying with us again tonight and I sincerely hope you are able to have a peaceful night’s sleep tonight. Please don’t hesitate to reach out directly if anything else comes up. Quick stay driving from Manitoba to Calgary, we stayed 5 years ago as well.
Room was good for our family of 4.
Kids enjoyed the pool, however the hot tub is very much showing it’s age. The pool is 1.4M deep which was great for our boys 9 and 11 that can swim but if you have smaller kids. They had three puddle jumpers not sure if they were other guests staying for for quest to stay.
Breakfast in the morning was your typical continental breakfast. Food was hot and they were constantly refilling the items. Small amount of food was put out at a time keeping it fresh.
Lots of parking.
Would stay here again.

We booked and stayed at the Home last Thursday. Our stay was amazing, it was like we had the hotel to ourselves. Very clean hotel and rooms, top of the line safety features. You book the hot tub in 30 minute allotments, we had the pool area to ourselves. Breakfast is still available you just order it ahead of time and pick it up. The beds and sheets are comfy. It never disappoints.

One year since we went anywhere. We did our research,called the hotel before we came about policies and procedures and we decided to book for a two day getaway from covid. We were stressed about it but Its been absolutely fantastic 👏 👌. Hotel clean, swimming pool has limits for people but that wasn't a problem as we are the only people using it so unlimited. Breakfast is a pick up we slept through our time 😆 beds are so comfy couldn't be helped but an hr later there was knock on the door with our hot breakfast sandwiches loved it. The staff has been so friendly, helpful and all you see if you decide to leave your comfy bed is the staff always and I mean always cleaning. Thank you for an amazing much needed relaxing not stressing about covid getaway!!! We will be back.

We stayed one night at the hotel with another family and we had only amazing experiences and every aspect. The staff were very friendly and helpful they accommodate our request to have rooms next to each other. The hotel and water slides were so fun and the water was so warm which made it even more fun. The rooms were clean large and have an amazing breakfast bar/countertop across the whole side of the room which was very helpful for eating breakfast and for my son to do his homework on. We will be back!

I can’t believe they didn’t honour my booking for a quiet room. I booked a month in advance. The noise level is outrageous. Partying across the hall and screaming children in an adjacent meeting room since 3:00 pm. It is a Friday night and when I asked for a quieter room I was told nothing can be done until Monday morning when the manager will be informed by the front desk. Why is there not a weekend manager?

I’m so sorry that you were disturbed by the sound of other guests during your stay. The hotel was quite busy while you were staying with us and we do our best to make sure our guests have the best stay possible. We do have a 10pm quiet time in the hotel as we know how important a good night’s sleep is. In the afternoon and early evening sometimes there can be a lot of activity going on as people are going about enjoying their weekend. My understanding is that our front desk agent had offered to move you to a room in another area but it would not have been the same as the room type you were staying in (due to availability) so you had understandably declined. Unfortunately we are not pet friendly. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Yes, upon request we will make sure that you room is prepared without the use of chemical cleaning products that we use, as well as no air fresheners.
You'd be best to call the hotel front desk for the answer to that question.
Thank you for the inquiry. The pool/hot tub hours are 9 am to 10 p.m. and waterslide is on from 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. We are predicting they will both be functional for your enjoyment.

Yes, we always have freshly brewed coffee (decaf also) in the lobby as well as freshly ground coffee, and hot beverages such as hot chocolate and French vanillas in our touch screen coffee machine...all free of charge.
Every morning we feature hot items such as eggs, waffles, and a meat item (bacon or sausage). We also always have fruit, cereal, yogurts and other options available to you. Upon request we also have gluten free options!
