What a pleasant place to stay! My wife and I travel to Ft Lauderdale a couple times a year and always struggle to find great places to stay. Our searching is over. The Coral Reef Guesthouse is fantastic. Super clean, so convenient and so comfortable! We felt at home. The owners clearly work very hard to make sure their guests want for nothing. This is a hidden gem and our new stomping grounds when we visit Ft Lauderdale.

I'm so glad we chose the Coral Reef Guesthouse for our 3-night stay in Fort Lauderdale. The location was perfect, being very close to a park (Hugh Taylor Birch State Park) with beach access and parking, as well as easy to get around to just about anywhere. The staff was so caring and kind, and made sure we had an easy late-night arrival experience. The pool and hot tub areas are just wonderful, the breakfast was perfect, and it was nice to have coffee available throughout the day. Thank you, Chuck, for being a great host!

My husband and booked 2 nights at this gem. We arrived on Sat and were immediately greeted by a very friendly staff member who toured us around, reviewed all the amenities and gave us tips on where to get snacks, drinks, dinner and any other particulars. The room was clean and the shower was huge. Pool was clean, towels available and even sun screen. The breakfast when we stayed was cereal, yogurt granola, sweet rolls, English muffins, peanut butter and jams, coffee and tea. Fruit - bananas and oranges.
The only draw back was our room was on the back side of the building. I would have loved to have seen the larger rooms pool side rooms, but was reluctant to ask. Location is dependent upon what your plans are for in Ft Lauderdale.
One huge plus was adults only ! Would recommend and stay again.

We stumbled onto this property when desperately trying to find a hotel for Superbowl weekend (we were cruising, not going to the Superbowl). The price was a deal, the location was perfect (within walking distance of lots of restaurant and shopping options), the rooms were on the small size, but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The only 'problem' was that there was no place to sit in the room except on the bed. For rooms with a little balcony, this would not be a problem, but we got a room without a balcony and no chair in the room. Small gripe for such a nice and welcoming property.

They were such incredible hosts for our group of 14 girls! We had such a great time and never had to ask for a thing. The owners live nearby so they are always within reach if you need something. Wayne even gave me the pep talk I never knew I needed before we went out in Las Olas. Y'all were such a great time, and thank you for having us!
PS - don't sleep on the croissants - Wayne is known by name in that deli!

Sorry this is such a late review for my April stay. However, I wanted to say this was one of the best Guesthouses I have stayed in when visiting FTL. The owners are personal and friendly as well as all of their staff. Everyone who stayed here was so nice that weekend as well and I had the pleasure of making their acquaintance. The guesthouse itself is clean and just a pleasant, relaxing stay. I had the king suite, so the room was spacious. I did hear some complain about the size of their room but their website has a outline of the property. So... This stay actually convinced me to sell my property in Maryland and move to FTL. So we will be neighbors someday soon. Till then. Thank you guys!

A wonderful find that I hope to return to…. The host creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere of calm. Guests are considerate of one another and privacy is respected. Adults only. An appealing pool with attached hot tub completes the ambience. A lovely Continental breakfast is provided. Close to shopping and restaurants. We did not have a car, nor did we need one.

We booked a 3 night stay at very short notice.
How lucky we were to find this lovely place.
The manager and owner were both very friendly and helpful throughout. Because of a late cancellation, we were upgraded at no extra cost.
The set up, with rooms all looking onto the pool was very relaxing, which is just what we needed.

This was an excellent, quiet, place to stay. We were there for a romantic vacation and this was a the perfect place. Felt like we had the whole place to ourselves most of the time. The owner and staff were all very friendly and willing to help. They have beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow. Many different restaurant menus to have take out or to go out to eat. The pool and hot tub were the perfect temperature every time we used it, and that was a lot. We will definitely stay there next time we go.

After researching the hotels in Fort Lauderdale I found this gem. I knew the location would be perfect for our pre-cruise weekend stay but was delighted with the wonderful room (106) and the entire guesthouse experience. The room was beautiful and cozy. Great variety at do it yourself continental breakfast. WiFi was great. We will definitely stay here again.

We're open to everyone. We used to be a "gay only" hotel until 2014 so you'll still see that footprint on our reviews. But we're open to anyone who'd like a relaxing peaceful stay in Fort Lauderdale! Aaron
