The Eastgate Hotel, BW Signature Collection, is often celebrated for its friendly service and professional staff, who ensure a smooth check-in experience. While the service shines, some guests have experienced slower maintenance and moments of being understaffed. The hotel's prime location is a hit, offering easy access to both the excitement of Seattle and peaceful skiing retreats. Travelers enjoy the clean, spacious rooms and the added value of complimentary breakfast, free parking, and competitive rates. However, there have been occasional mentions of room odors and maintenance issues.

I had been a long time Silver Cloud Bellevue fan and was a bit apprehensive to stay at the Eastgate Hotel when the brand switched to a Best Western. For a time, I stayed at the nearby Hyatt House or Embassy Suites but after finally giving Eastgate Hotel a chance, I can say that they offer the best value in the area despite the staff not being at par with that of the former Silver Cloud staff who always were happy to help. Eastgate Hotel's relatively competitive rates are inclusive of parking and a decent buffet breakfast, for light sleepers the building's sound insulation is very good, and the only hotel in the area with free washers and dryers (in multiple floors!).

For a while I dealt with a younger lady at the front desk who always had her mobile phone in front of her. She always accomplished her job tasks but not as enthusiastically and with a sense of urgency as the Silver Cloud staff. Hence, I was pleasantly surprised when I met Beatriz during my most recent visit I knew she was a new hire since I never met her, and I was right since it was her 7th day!

Let me tell you more about the great customer service extended to me by Beatriz. That day I checked in, I arrived on an early flight and I was catching a late night, red eye flight that same day so I was looking for a hotel that could check me in right away to get settled and do my business in the city. When I phoned Beatriz about the possibility of an early check in, she gladly looked for a room type that was available for immediate check in and even volunteered to write down my last name so she could save the room for me as soon as my online booking appears in the hotel's reservation system. Wow, what a gem of a customer service staff! When I personally met her during my check in, she was even better - she was engaging, enthusiastic, and just really exuded a positive attitude! Thank you, Beatriz! You are amazing, certainly a breath of fresh air these days when many in the hospitality industry feel that they only need to do the minimum for their guests. Shout out also to all the housekeeping staff who is always friendly and ready to assist!

I had a very decent experience at the Eastgate Hotel. I had a (5) night stay and despite some minor hiccups with billing, the reservation representative was courteous and most of all patient while we get everything figured out. My particular room was so spacious, it had remence of a one bedroom, two bath apartment. Probably bigger than mine back home lol. Adequate toiletries, bedding and appliances to satisfy your needs. The daily complimentary breakfast was the most satisfying. From the amazing country potatoes, eggs and sausage to the fresh Belgian waffles(self-made) and the coffee was great, couldn't stop going back and forth 🥴 🤣 Very polite staff, one woman in particular, unfortunately I didn't catch her name. I'll just refer to her as, "The Lil Red" 🚀 She was all over the place making sure everything was in place. Plenty open parking, in addition to the parking garage, which I primarily utilized. I may have left a thing are two out, but overall a wonderful experience. Thank you.

Upon arrival, it was clearly evident that this hotel prides themselves on cleanliness. Not only did the hotel smell pleasant upon entry, but the rooms were a literal breath of fresh air. We stayed for four nights, and were also happy to find that they serve a full breakfast buffet. The food is good and it’s a more than just bagels and cereal.

Good room for the price! We were very pleasantly surprised. The bathroom looked very clean and if not renovated recently, it sure looked like it was. There was a fairly strong overall bad odor in the room like old shoes. The carpet was pulling up and is in need of replacing. The A/C was quite loud. Bed was firm but comfortable for us. No bottled water at the hotel for two days so bring your own, strong chlorine in the tap water. Desk staff was very nice and helpful. Hotel is in a great location. We stayed here to go to a concert at Lumen Field. The free breakfast was great! Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, waffle maker, muffins, toast, juices and coffee. We would stay here again if they replace the carpets and can eliminate the bad smell throughout the hotel.

I have to note that I have stayed in so many hotels relocating from the East Coast to the West Coast, and I’ve been very surprised at certain hotel chains. This hotel was a delight!! I’ve worked in customer service for years, and I was always told that you be able to know who the manager is just by their leadership skills; I knew immediately that Raj was the General Manager. His professionalism, accuracy, and customer service skills were impeccable; by far the best I’ve seen and I’ve stayed at 25 different hotels during this journey. The hotel itself is also wonderful, which reflects on management also. Every front desk employee was excellent, and I appreciate some humor, and got some from a young lady. The rooms are immaculate, and very spacious; there are a lot of places to meet all your needs in terms of toiletries, wine, and many other things. You can ask the front desk so many questions and not only will they give you the answers, but they will make sure you understand where you are going. The entire team was dressed perfectly, something I’ve noticed has been lacking in other hotels. I think it’s also in the perfect location, because your right outside of Seattle, but not in the middle of all the chaos so you have a great deal peace, but can get to the city in 15 minutes approximately,
This has been my favorite hotel that we have stayed at since bouncing around the Seattle area.
I applaud Raj, and all management as well as the front desk agents, you truly are all wonderful, and I felt at home but better bc the hotel is just wonderful in all respects. Thank you North Gate for restoring my faith in hotels again.

The bed was very plush and comfortable. The room was clean the breakfast was good. This was a personal trip, but normally I travel extensively for work and I mostly stay at Best Westerns, and this one was probably the nicest of them all

We were pleasantly surprised with our accommodations. The hotel was very quiet, the beds and pillows were comfy, the room was large and well appointed, the breakfast buffet was good - wished they had offered fresh fruit salad every morning (was only offered once during our 4 day stay), and the service was really good. We also were thankful for the secured parking garage which was very convenient and gave us peace of mind. It was located near a grocery store and restaurants and only 8-10 minutes away from downtown Bellevue.

The only cons were that our door would slam because the closing mechanism was broken and then in the bathroom they didn’t have adequate towel racks, hooks etc, and there wasn’t a shower caddy to put shampoo or soap and washcloths on.

All in all though this isn’t the Ritz, the prices were decent and we would definitely come back again and would recommend this hotel.

You can build or remodel a beautiful hotel and put all the nice things in there. Good mattresses, fluffy pillows etc. But the reason someone will come back to a specific hotel is because of how well it’s maintained by the staff and how nice they are. It makes all the difference in the world! Y’all have that in spades here! We will be back!

It was conveniently located for us to get to down town seattle with about a 20-minute drive. I loved that it had its own secure underground free parking. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was amazing. There were lots of choices every morning, eggs, potatoes, either bacon or sausage, waffles, variety of pastries, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fruit, oatmeal, definitely didn't go away hungry.
Beds were very comfortable, even the pull out sofa bed had a good mattress on it. The room was a decent size mini fridge could have been bigger, didn't fit much in it, but it worked to keep drinks cold.
Shower was amazing, great pressure, and plenty of hot water.

I stayed here because my flight was delayed and I needed to rest before going north. The hotel is conveniently located near hwy 90. The room is big and clean. The bed is comfortable. Breakfast in the morning is busy, the staff was working hard & still cannot keep up with the demand of food. I arrived in mid night and the front desk agent told me to park on the side of the building where several vehicles were already parked there. Overall it is a nice stay, only complaint is the convention center tax is very high, $9.12 for a $157 room. When other numerous taxes are included, they added $25 to the total bill.
