I stayed with a friend and we did a girls weekend to catch up and we decided to stay here. We were not disappointed at all, we got to relax in clean, well taken care of rooms. We swam in the pool and enjoyed a perfect temperature hot tub. The breakfast was really great with a selection of foods for all taste buds. The front desk ladies were so pleasant and very helpful. They gave us great suggestions for all types of things to do in town. I would recommend this hotel to everyone looking for a great stay.

Stopped last night while traveling from BC to MB. Excellent price and fantastic service. Clean room and very friendly staff. Breakfast options were plentiful, although I only had toast. Easy place to book and quick service. Impressive space in the standard rooms. Sent us on our way with two bottles of water. Nice touch. These little things will bring me back. Lots of options but I will stay here next time.

First off, if you are coming for business, be forewarned: the "office" suite does not actually come equipped with a desk as advertised. They will pull in a table and chair though so as not to have to sit awkwardly on the slightly-too-low to be comfortable chairs at your countertop... And styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery take away from a nice breakfast atmosphere. Beds are nice and rooms are spacious though. Nice proximity to dining and casino.

Thank you for expressing your thoughts on trip advisor today. I am sorry you did not have a desk in your room as the picture on our website shows and wish for you to know we are in the process of updating our website. I believe the staff were able to accommodate you with a table and chair that you could use during your stay. You also mentioned breakfast area - we have had a problem with the dishwasher so have had to resort to an alternate while the dishwasher is being repaired. We trust we will be back to glass dishes and regular cutlery very soon. That being said, we do use the disposable plates if our guest total is over a certain number as our breakfast attendant cannot keep up to the demand during those busy times. Had a very good stay at this hotel, the room is large, modern and very clean.
A lovely pool and gym were much appreciated. The breakfast was more than we expected.
The sheets were so nice that I decided to buy a whole set.
It was a pleasant surprise to find this hotel. Would go back anytime.

It was delightful to read your review of Home Inn & Suites in Swift Current. We were exhibitors at the craft show at Kinetic Park, and this was our first stay at this hotel. It definitely won't be our last. We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly, helpful and very accommodating. The free breakfast had a great variety of both hot and cold food items. We loved this hotel and plan to stay again when we are here next year for the craft show. Thank you for a great stay!

This hotel has very friendly staff, is a newer, clean hotel. There is a small, incredibly relaxing spa in the hotel and the estheticians are fabulous! The continental breakfast is a hot and cold breakfast that contains eggs and a meat (bacon or sausages) as well as fruit, toast, yogurt, bagels and more.
The pool and waterslide are great for people of all ages. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

First time I have ever written a review on a hotel, so here goes. I travel quite a bit with work and always try to stay at new places. I had never stayed at the Home Inn and Suites in Swift Current so I thought I would give it a try. I stayed there the nights of February 12 and 13, 2014.
Very nice accommodations as everything is new, no complaints there.
My first complaint - I returned to my room in the evening with the intention of havin a hot bath, only to discover that I had no hot water in the tub - calling it luke warm is being gracious. Oh well, try the hot water in the morning. In the morning still no hot water, checked the sink in the bathroom and yes there was hot water there, but no hot water to the tub.
When I was leaving for the day I stopped at the front desk to tell them about the water issue. They advised that they would have someone check.
When I returned at supper time. I came back to my room not being made up and still no hot water. Called the front desk. Sorry about the room not being made up I guess it was missed.
So what was I left with:
Front desk person was going to come up and make up my room, I told her not to bother all I need is some coffee.
The next thing I did was check the hot water in the tub. No hot water, so called the front desk again.
Sorry that you have no hot water, the maintenance man could not get it fixed and a plumber was not going to show up for a couple of days. Really!!
There was no offer to change me to another room, seeing I had no hot water in the tub/shower, just told it can't be fixed right now.
When I checked out the next morning I brought up these issues to the front desk person and everything was basically brushed off. Really unacceptable. I understand completely that issues come up and things happen but to have no resolution offered to address the issues is really unacceptable customer service practices.
Anyway I am on my way back to Swift Current for another stay and thought I would check trip advisior to see what people are saying on the different accommodations as I need to book a room and felt the need to post about my stay at this hotel.
Regarless of where I stay, it will not be here and I have actually advised my collegues that they should only book here as a last resort.

We stayed for a week and had selected a room with a kitchen. There was no toaster or oven, a toaster-oven should definitely be added to this type of room. Most utensils were missing, no small spoons, no forks but I had brought some so didn't ask front desk. Room cleaning is not so great. Had to ask for floor (kitchen & bathroom) to be cleaned as it was very dirty when we got there. I assume it was done with a sweeper of some sort because I had to do it myself after it was supposedly done that day! Filled the sink with water and soap dish and my cloth was so dirty after every little section I completed! Asked the cleaning lady on a specific day to have the top sheet changed as my daughter's boo-boo on the knee had bled and stained the top sheet. Well, I got back and the beds were made and the same sheet with the apparent stains on top were still there although I had specifically asked her to change it.
On the positive side, the staff were very nice and friendly either at reception or at the pool. The reception and breakfast area is very nicely decorated. Loved the pool, location is great and room is a very nice size and well decorated.
Hopefully they improve with the room cleaning as I would definitely want to go back.

We did a trip from Winnipeg to Canmore, and wanted to stay half way somewhere. That doesn't really exist, so we decided to do the almost 2/3rds idea. We were so happy we did. The place is beautiful. It just opened in Sept 2012, but they chose some very nice decor. The staff was awesome, so kind and lovely. They let us use the breakfast area to order in pizza (from a place they recommended, which was really good too) for dinner. We kept it as clean as possible. The pool was nice, the slide was a bit too fast for my young ones, but they loved the pool none-the-less.
We loved this place so much that we actually stayed here on the way back as well, as we decided to break up the leg home into 2 nights.
The front desk staff on saturday morning was such a sweetheart. She was so kind to (us and) my 2 yr old. I think her name was Christine, but I'm not 100%.
I appreciated the Keurig in the rooms, instead of "disgusting" old style coffee makers. However, with the fancy coffee machine available 24hrs in the lobby, you really didnt need the Keurig. Breakfast was great, just what you'd expect (Actually more than you'd expect) from a hotel. And the food kept coming, the girl was working very hard. Another round of kudos.
One thing I did see was that the room, could have been vacuumed better. I notified them upon entry. We have little ones and to have stuff on the floor when they are crawling around isn't desirable. But this is a fixable item.
We'd stay here again for sure. I'd be tempted to try the chain in another city, however, I'd have high standards after this Swift Current visit.
I think this hotel also had kid games available to borrow. We didnt try them this time, but that's a fantastic idea.

Unfortunately we are not pet friendly. I apologize for the inconvenience.
Yes, upon request we will make sure that you room is prepared without the use of chemical cleaning products that we use, as well as no air fresheners.
You'd be best to call the hotel front desk for the answer to that question.
Thank you for the inquiry. The pool/hot tub hours are 9 am to 10 p.m. and waterslide is on from 4:00 p.m. to 10 p.m. We are predicting they will both be functional for your enjoyment.

Yes, we always have freshly brewed coffee (decaf also) in the lobby as well as freshly ground coffee, and hot beverages such as hot chocolate and French vanillas in our touch screen coffee machine...all free of charge.
Every morning we feature hot items such as eggs, waffles, and a meat item (bacon or sausage). We also always have fruit, cereal, yogurts and other options available to you. Upon request we also have gluten free options!
