- Daniel C0 contributionsWonderful tourAsk to go with Marco. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the tour, it was the highlight of our trip! Grazie MarcoWritten July 21, 2024
- Voyager259217453550 contributionsNo other way to do itThere’s no other way to experience this site. Tour guide was wonderful. There were a couple of hiccups that include that being late to pick me up from my hospital and a near accident. That aside, it was very knowledgeable. I could not imagine.Written July 21, 2024
- Voyager259217453550 contributionsWonderfully long but informative tourThis is a very, very long day of touring. That being said, I loved all of it. Wear comfortable shoes and anticipate the length of the day. A tremendous amount of information is covered from the old town to Sagrada Familia and park Gruell. Don’t feel bad if you fall asleep in the van from point A to point B it’s a very long day. Lunch is not included, but you do stop at a restaurant across from Sagrada Familia. Lunch is optional. The prepared to have €40 to gain entrance into Segretta Familia.Written July 21, 2024

Restaurant in the farm just awesome, foods super fresh and tasty! And the Costa Brava to conclude ! Thanks a lot to the best guide ever Manu for that. Salut from the French 👌Written July 21, 2024
- Connector2981660 contributionsGreat tourOur tour guide, Vicenta, was informative, funny, and very knowledgeable. She extended her passion to Barcelona to us. We highly recommend this tour, especially if you don't have too much time to stay here. Thank you, Vicenta.Written July 20, 2024
- Companion2612560 contributionsGirona and moreWhat a perfect day this was! The entire experience was wonderful and this is truly a great way to experience all that the Barcelona area has to offer - a trip to historic Girona, plus Peratadallo, and more. Plenty of time to meander, explore on your own and our guide and driver, the team of Mohammad and Augusto, were excellent. Even more wonderful, Mohammad had arranged a reservation at a wonderful restaurant for our lunch, right along the Mediterranean. How great to picked up at your hotel and dropped back just feet from your doorstep!Written July 20, 2024

- mamaloves3kiddos0 contributionsAleix was great but your description is a bit misleadingWe actually purchased Costa Brava and Tossa de Mar: Panoramic Boat Ride with Small Group and Hotel pick-up (FD) with In Out Barcelona. Aleix was right on time. Very nice enthusiastic person who showed us many places on the drive to Costa Brava. He also listens to the same type of music we like so that was fun to talk about. I removed one star since the description of the tour did not completely match what we did. The description makes it sound like we are in a small group the whole time on the boat and to a cave to swim but in reality we were given tickets to a huge boat with at least 50 people and no caves or swimming on that boat. It was more like a boat taxi really and not a guided boat to see the coast. Aleix met us at the last stop where he guided us through Tossa Del Mar and gave us flexible free time and made us lunch reservations which was really nice of him. We had a chance to shop and eat at a very relaxing pace and go to the local beach. We told Aleix that we didn’t get to to into caves or swim on the boat ride so he took us to a secluded beach where we could swim. It was gorgeous and so much fun. Aleix saved the excursion for us and this review. He was also really great to talk with in the car. I would recommend this trip and Aleix, just be vocal if you’re not experiencing what was advertised. I’m really glad I said something to Aleix. I dont know if we went to Lloret de Mar, the route by ship did not include hidden caves or sunbathing, and I don’t think we went to Sant Feliu De Guixols at all. Thankfully Aleix did take us to idyllic beach to swim once we told him we didn’t get a chance to do that which we loved! We are a family of 5 with kids 20, 18, 14 who’s favorite part was the idyllic beach. Below is what was advertised: * COSTA BRAVA: One of the most beautiful regions of Spain, located in northeastern Catalonia. Bathed in the clean blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea, Costa Brava has a long history as the entry-point to the Iberian Peninsula from the sea. * LLORET DE MAR: This has been the most touristic spot in Costa Brava since the 1920’s or maybe even earlier, when it became the town chosen by most Catalan families to spend their holidays. This colorful and dynamic place was named in a zarzuela, an opera called “Marina.” It appeared in the lyrics as “Costa la de Levante, Playas las de Lloret”, which later became the town’s motto. * ROUTE BY SHIP: Take a moment to marvel at the coast of Costa Brava, its artist’s palette of colors, sharp cliffs and amazing natural landscape. We will take you along the coast to discover hidden coves that can only be reached by sea. Here you will have the chance to sunbathe and enjoy the refreshing sea breeze. * TOSSA DE MAR: An old fishing village and residence of great artists and intellectuals. Tossa is also called “ la Perla de la Costa Brava” (“ the pearl of Costa Brava”). Our guide will take you up to the medieval castle, from where you will enjoy stunning views of the bay and learn about the place’s fascinating history and heritage. * SWIM AT AN IDYLLIC BEACH: Dive into the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea surrounded by nature. * SANT FELIU DE GUÍXOLS: Take a walk through the charming streets of this old fishermen’s village, which grew thanks to the production and commerce of cork. Nowadays, this beautiful coastal town is the perfect place to discover with family and friends while enjoying the refreshing marine breeze. Sant Feliu de Guíxols is also known for its Carnival, along with other national festivals.Written July 20, 2024
- caligus980 contributionsAmazing!!This was such an amazing way to experience Spain. Tony was our guide. He was very knowledgeable. We enjoyed his upbeat and happy personality! Girona was such a surprise. Loved exploring this small town and learning of its history. The rest of the stops were great as well. One piece of advice is to bring your bathing suits. We didn't and regretted it.Written July 20, 2024

Ruben was great; excellent English, good communications, prompt, aware of and offering comfort and solutions when the two of us elder tourists were dragging from the heat and multiple steps. I am so grateful for his attention and care. He has a fountain of knowledge about anything we asked him. We could not have had a better guide!

Took a day trip to Tarragona with Miquel as our guide. If we could give him 10 stars we would. Very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. You get the dad jokes for free. We can attest to his good driving. :)

We got picked up from our hotel by our tour guide, Arnau. He was great at showing us around, telling us a lot about the history of Taraggona. We got to see a lot of Roman ruins and walk on the remains of Aqueduct. Sadly Amphitheatre and Circus was closed down for renovations but we still got to see it from the outside. Our guide pointed out a few good restaurant spots to eat at during our free time. Overall we had a great time. I would definitely come back when the renovations are complete to walk inside the ruins.

The Roman Theatre is very well preserved. Located right in front of the Mediteranne
Eazy to access by foot front the station only 10 minutes walks strait on the right end side coming out of the station.
Driving is also easy with street parking.
This site is free no charges made. Also easy to take really nice photos
Plenty of benches and Parkes around to appreciate what would have taken place in the past.

Marc picked us up from our hotel. We picked up one other couple in a reg van. They were so much fun! Marc was our personal tour guide/driver. He was excellent, personable, & informative. He showed the Roman Aqueduct first on the way to town. What a marvelous feat. He showed us all around Tarragona & gave us the history of everything. Unfortunately, because it was a Sunday & voting day, some museums were closed. But this was a last minute trip I booked & still had excellent service. This tour is worth it & hopefully, you'll get Marc to show you all wonderous Roman gems this town has to offer.

Is it possible to sign up for this as a solo traveler?

Is a pickup and drop off from the port possible? We are docking in Tarragona (transatlantic cruise from Miami to Tarragona) and actually staying on the ship to do a Greek Isle cruise. NCL is not offering any excursions in Tarragona but we thought we could do one on our own as we are docked from 5am to 5pm. Thx

I don't know. Possibly, but the tour is designed for people staying in Barcelona, so the schedule and itinerary is set up based on that. However, the tour is quite pricey, and you're really just paying for gas money. You're better off taking a taxi. Most of the sites are within walking distance, except the aqueduct and castle. I have no idea where the cruise terminal is located though.

I want to know if you can pick up 3 people in Ona Jardines Paraisol Hotel in Salou, Spain? On May 8, 2019? If so, is it the same cost or do we get a price break?
Written January 25, 2019
I don't think so. Salou is past Tarragona, so they would have to drive past the city to get you, than drive back, and the way the stops are organized, this wouldn't work.
But I see on the map Salou is very close to Tarragona. You can probably just take a bus. The town is very easy to explore on your own.

Is it possible to do this tour as a one-way, departure in Barcelona and drop-off in Tarragona. Our cruise departs from Tarragona.
