Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Nice small hotel, four stars seems about right. Room has two queen beds pushed together which made the room a little smaller than necessary but if he had four people it would be fine [We did not need two queens so we use the second bed to dump stuff]. breakfast have lots of various choices, different breads, different cheeses, marinated vegetables, Catalan tomato, cereals, eggs, yogurt, pastries etc. Hotel staff were very accommodating especially with ordering taxis. Note that getting a taxi in Barcelona is not easy if you are out and about. No Uber. The only small issue which is quite minor and somewhat relevant is that there are very few English TV channels. This did not affect us but maybe somebody else. Location was about 20 to 25 minutes from the centre by foot [Depending on what you call the center]. To get there, still loads of activity, restaurants and shops to explore.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The rooms are nice and clean. The breakfast is fine but not many choices. The staff is polite and helpful. The only negative point I have about the room we had was that the room is very noisy. You can here ppl walk in the rooms below and above you, also the outside sounds you can hear good in the room.

Good property located close to Diagonal, Passeig de Gracia. Some nice local cafes and restaurants are within walking distance as well as Mercadona stores and local food market. Clean design rooms with big TV screen. Coffee and tea making facilities are presented. Breakfast at the restaurant is quite nice and not overpriced (11 euros) with selection of food and drinks. No sleepers and bathrobe unfortunately.
I recommend to provide the bath towels with better quality than hotel has now.

Whilst understanding the main difference between a four and five star hotel, I often think some view four stars as much worse whereas it’s rarely the case- just not 24 hour service. This hotel is one such example. Located in a lovely area of Barcelona with one of the most restaurant populated street within minutes, it is an excellent hotel. The room was spacious (a twin room with both beds being king size is rare) a modern functional design with lovely en-suite. Breakfast was buffet style but one had everything. The restaurant food was lovely and relatively inexpensive, based in a very modern setting, with the option to dine outside in an enclosed small park area. All the staff were professional and friendly, but as is my want I often single out one, in this case Tomas who treated my father and I well with an extremely friendly attitude and was exceptionally eager to please in our overly demands in whisky (thank you). Such a beautiful and clean hotel. The employees at the reception were really kind and friendly, breakfast was delicious, lots of local foods to try and big thumbs up to the cleaning ladies, they were just perfect, they even folded our clothes nicely which was really sweet and kind. Everything is falling apart and in disrepair. You will not get any shampoo, conditioner, body wash or lotion. No in room coffee. No working hair dryer. And on top of that got a blood stained pillow case one day!

We honestly believe that you may be wrong about the Evenia Rosselló hotel. We inform you that all our rooms are equipped, among other facilities, with kettles, gel and shampoo dispensers, and we provide amenities upon request at reception. I don't recommend the hotel. 1. Very old. The rooms are not tidy. The air conditioner does not work well and makes a lot of noise, making it difficult to sleep. We tried to sleep with the window open, the noise of the cars was very disturbing. 2. We booked a room in advance on the hotel website. Four days later I contacted the site, sent an SMS, wrote on Instagram to cancel the reservation for one day, but no one responded. After checking into the hotel, they refused to cancel our reservation for one night. We were away for one day and paid 108 euros for it, and they didn't even give us any water or tea bags. 3. After checking out of the hotel, they didn’t give me a cashier’s receipt, but instead wrote out a piece of paper by hand.

Amazing central location. Close to The Ramble and the Diagnal. Great selection of restaurants and bars nearby. Also cheap supermarkets,if you want to buy a few bits. Hotel itself is modern and nicely presented. Very clean. We've stayed for 4 days and our room was cleaned and fresh towels given everyday. Friendly staff. Breakfast was the same every day, so it's probably not worth it to book as Breakfast included as so many cafes nearby with wide selection of choices. The only thing I was a bit disappointed with, were the thin walls. We didn't get a good night sleep during our stay as we could hear literally everything from surrounding rooms. But I guess that's quite normal for a central location city hotel.

Our stay at Evenia Rossello was wonderful at the front and back end of our cruise out of Barcelona. We had a great experience with the staff, the rooms were beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The location of the hotel is fantastic and provides easy walking to lots of sights, restaurants, and night life.

Me and my friend stayed here at the beginning of May for a weekend in Barcelona and it was lovely! I think the previous reviews don’t do the hotel justice. The hotel looks good from the outside and the inside. The room smelt lovely when we first arrived and cleaned very nicely everyday. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Passeig de Gràcia and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The room and bathroom were bigger than we excepted (there were 2 of us with 2 standard suitcases and lots of room to move around). We went to the hotel bar every night and all the staff were friendly and drinks were nice. We paid for breakfast on the last morning and this was also really nice. Defiantly recommend this hotel.

If you want the hotel's buffet breakfast, you must book room ? breakfast. It is a buffet with great variety and worth the money. However, if you are content with simpler fare, then there are some options a few minutes walk from the hotel.
There are more places to choose from in the Barcelona area.
