Me and my friend stayed here at the beginning of May for a weekend in Barcelona and it was lovely! I think the previous reviews don’t do the hotel justice. The hotel looks good from the outside and the inside. The room smelt lovely when we first arrived and cleaned very nicely everyday. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Passeig de Gràcia and there are lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The room and bathroom were bigger than we excepted (there were 2 of us with 2 standard suitcases and lots of room to move around). We went to the hotel bar every night and all the staff were friendly and drinks were nice. We paid for breakfast on the last morning and this was also really nice. Defiantly recommend this hotel.

Although the hotel was clean and centrally located, the lack of proper air conditioning ruined the stay. The air conditioning unit did not cool down our room. We called the front desk and they explained that they were complying with a Spanish law that restricted their ability to cool the room below 25°C. I later looked up the law and discovered he was wrong, as hotels are exempted. It was also frustrating that the hotel lobby was cooled well below 25°C, but we had to sleep in a hot and stuffy room. The hotel provided us no advance notice of their policy.

Barcelona is a beautiful city, clean, quirky and interesting. Evenia Rossello hotel was at least a 25min walk to La Rambla, however you can jump on the metro for a little over €2. A few nice places to eat locally but most main attractions are near La Rambla. Evenia Hotel rooms are great but the hotel doesn't offer any other amenities for the money. Overall my stay was nice the staff were friendly and helpful 😊

Check in agent was miserable although we did get our room on arrival in the morning after letting the hotel know we'd be arriving early. The room was ok, bathroom a little tired and poor amenities. Poor sound insulation especially in the early morning when we could hear doors slamming closed multiple times. Location is good. Only stayed 1 night but would probably not stay again.

"The Kappa hotel is a scam. It claims to be a 4-star hotel, but in reality, it's a 1-star hotel. It's 10 degrees Celsius outside in the morning and they refuse to turn on the heating for economic reasons. I caught a cold because of this hotel, which ruined my entire stay in Barcelona. I strongly advise against this hotel. It's a scam."

Good hotel with a friendly staff. Nice location to move around the center of the city. There are plenty of options for food and entertainment nearby and public transportation lines are relatively easy to reach. Room size is a bit small but it is ok. Recommended.

To expensive for a very basic hotel (not sure why it is 4-star). Too noisy - continuous roar from the outside up to 2 AM goes enters the room very easily. The paper thin walls also let all the noise from other rooms into your room.

Very nice place, good conencted to city transport.
Queit and clean.
The personal nice and helpful. Questionaries for us were prepared in Polish language, so was very helpful.
The room a little bit to small, for 4 people narrow. Lack of the fridge, but the hihg temperature in August it would be very practical to equip romms in fridges, thatquests can at lest have something like Joghurt or fruits there.

Service and staff were wonderful. This was just an ok stay for us. The beds were hard and the room was cold no matter what we set the thermostat at. Location was good. They had breakfast option which looked good but we ate elsewhere.

Be very cautious: The stay was okay because I was there for only one night but there was one major issue and that says a lot about the hotel staff and management. I forgot a piece of clothing, not a very expensive one but not cheap either, while checking out. When I later enquired about it, the hotel staff just put their hands up in the air and said they had no idea about it. Obviously, I never got it back.

If you want the hotel's buffet breakfast, you must book room ? breakfast. It is a buffet with great variety and worth the money. However, if you are content with simpler fare, then there are some options a few minutes walk from the hotel.
Dear customer, about 18€ depending on traffic.
The manager of the Hotel said if I had had a more expensive room I would have had a kettle ! Take a portable kettle & adapter
with you.
