Absolutely phenomenal!

This place was phenomenal. The drinks are very well crafted with a lot of care. The bartender Michael is very knowledgeable and has great suggestions and a love for what he does. The servers are very knowledgeable about the dishes and offer great suggestions based on what you like or what you are looking for in your experience. The menu is crafted by a Michelin star chef and it shows. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for anything from tasty food to an adventurous experience.

Amazing place

The spot is great Staff were so nice and friendly , speaks English and explain about the menu in a passionate way . Food was amazing The slow cooked beef and the cod fish were the best we ate The service was so quick Food came very fast . The dessert was original Very much recommended

Best meal we had in Barcelona

Didn't disappoint. Found this restaurant to be everything better than the reviews had said and more. Great service, friendly knowledgeable staff and delicious food. My only comment would be that menu is only available by scanning a qr code on your table, so dont forget your phone ! You need to order more than one dish per person as the sizes are a large tapas sized serving. The ox cheeks were amazing as was the salmon

Good food and great service

Service was very attentive in this tiny restaurant, we sat opposite the bar and watched amazing cocktails being made with a touch of theatre as we ate. The food was mostly very good with special mention to the slow cooked veal cheeks with truffle parmentier (absolutely delicious). The Pattaya’s Bravas was also very good. Other dishes were also good but didn’t quite reach the same thrifts as these two.

A Hidden Gem

We were walking around Barcelona and had looked up places to eat near our hotel. Abanic was on our list and the closest, so we took a chance. When we arrived, the restaurant looked very small and was empty. It was only 4:30 or so - very early. We were so glad we chose to eat there. The wait people were sweet and attentive. The food was delicious. We chose 3 items from the menu: the croquettes, burrata, and the beef cheek. I liked 2 of the 3 croquettes, although my spouse liked them all. I found the cod to be a bit too fishy tasting for me. The mushroom was my favorite, and although I’m not too sure of what was in the third, it was also good. The beef cheek melted in your mouth, and was accompanied by plums and dried apricots on a potato and truffle pamentier, with a vermouth sauce. Our third choice was the creamy burrata served with an amazing tomato jam, pesto sauce, micro greens and nuts. We ended up ordering some pita bread (light, fluffy, and warm) so that we could scoop up every drop of the burrata and beef cheek. Luck was with us when we decided to sit down! I highly recommend this sweet little place for delicious food and excellent service.

The best restaurant in Barcelona

This restaurant not only serves great drinks but also offers truly delicious main dishes. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients, and since I can't eat salty food, I appreciated how well they balanced the seasoning. The sophisticated and flavorful aftertaste was also delightful. The service was excellent; even as a foreigner, I felt welcomed and comfortable. Highly recommend! The waitress's name was Glen! 여기 식당은 술뿐만 아니라 메인디쉬도 진짜 맛있어요. 좋은 재료를 쓰고있다는 게 느껴지고 저는 짠음식을 잘 못먹는데 간도 잘 맞추었다고 느껴졌습니다. 고급스럽고 풍미있는 뒷맛도 좋았어요. 서비스도 진짜 좋아셔 외국인인데됴 친절해셔 부담이 없었어요- 강추!!!!! (Ps. 서버는 필리핀 분인 글렌이었어요!!!!)

Great atmosphere and cocktails

Friendly and helpful service, delicious cocktails, and a cozy atmosphere. We went around 9PM on a Friday and we’re able to get seated right away but filled up quick after. Definitely recommend.

Abanic - a restaurant not to pass by

A small and cozy restaurant which should not be missed - great food, wines and cocktail lists and excellent and friendly service. We went on a whim and did not have reservations however the manager and hosts went beyond and gave us a table and made us feel welcome. The menu is very varied with delicious choices for all tastes. Especially good was the Tiradito de Salmon Thai and the Filet de Corvina. The patatas bravas are unusually good and unique, and the hummus appetizer plate was the perfect start. Try some of the cocktails as well as a wide variety of gins. Since it is not a physically large restaurant, it's best to make a reservation since you might not have been as lucky as us on a Wednesday night. Abanic is highly recommended and I know we'll definitely be back to try a lot more of the menu.

Exellent food, great tastes and the best service! The dishes came to the table really quickly and the waiters made sure we had the best time. We really enjoyed the small restaurant and hope that we will have the opertunety to come back here.

Amazing marketing, not so good in execution

We read the reviews and what we experienced made us feel that we were at another restaurant. We travel a lot and this happens..we call it we got touristed. The food wasnt bad and the place is very small. Making it cute. However, for the price point there are way better restaurants. We did leave feeling like the reviews conned us. No bueno.

Albanic, is the best restaurant in Barcelona, when we arrived we were sceptical because it was too small but give them some minutes to show their magic. In their small kitchen they prepare the most delicious, fresh with best quality food of Barcelona. I'm writing this comment after trying so many fine restaurants with good reviews in Barcelona. Michael treats you the best, so friendly, helpful and always smiling. The team is the best team. I recommend to reserve your table in advance.

Keep this place on zour kust list to dine in Barcelona

Awesome decor, service and food! The tastes were sublime and creative twist to wonderful small plates. The serive was attentive and friendly and willing to please our palates. Loved the blavk rice and scallops! Chef has brought fine fining in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. A must for locals and tourists who look for an adventure in fine dining.

Amazing Experience, Great Food

While you are in Barcelona you should definitely definitely visit Abanic. Their food is tasty, light and refreshing. Each of the tapas dish is made with love and care. We were served with Brian who is an amazing host. I can't choose one dish to recommend because all were so so good. We went back a second night for the salmon and the creamy burrata

Very good tapas

We booked Abanic on pretty short notice (possibly same day) but managed to get a dinner reservation. I would recommend booking as the restaurant is so small! The tapas selection here seems to be a mix between traditional, and some fusion. All dishes we ordered were great. In particular I loved the tuna tartare and the burrata. Highly reccomended!

Fantastic tapas and cocktails 🍸

We chose this restaurant as was close to our hotel and knew after a long day touring we needed somewhere close by. The welcome was fantastic and friendly and the cocktails were great, I loved my pisco sour! The tapas were very tasty, best patata bravas ever and we had a very chilled night after a busy day.
